Reviews for Stone Veneer Installation in Queen Creek

AHandy in AZ LLC
While Michael was working his talents on my kitchen and living room, I was away on a business trip. Because I had hired him previously for flooring and painting work and found his work to be flawless, I trusted that I did not need to supervise him this time around. I was not disappointed.Advice for anyone contemplating hiring Michael: 1. Establish a clear understanding of the work scope and detail. 2. Obtain the necessary materials for the job. Michael will assist with estimating.3. Realize that Michael's labor quotes are based on many years as a professional carpenter with high standards. For a lower labor cost, quotes from lower quality contractors may be necessary.I plan to hire Michael again, for hallway, bath and bedroom floor tile installation. I have complete confidence that hiring Michael for this will result in my complete satisfaction.

Wow. What beautiful work. Flawless -- and considering the brick that I gave Paul to work with that's saying alot. I asked Paul to use and quot;clinkerand quot; bricks that I picked out to cover a couple of walls inside my house. and quot;Clinkerand quot; bricks are mishapen, deformed, kind of beat-up and salvaged looking. They aren't easy to work with. Along with the right tools and equipment, you need an artistic and aesthetic eye, an eye for detail. You also need to be a problem solver. Paul is all these things and thanks to him my project was smooth and stress-free. It turned out even more beautiful than I'd hoped. Especially the attention to detail. Paul is a professional and he'll make your job a priority. He won't cut corners and he'll work every day all day 'til your job is done. I'd like to add too, that Paul is a great guy. Good values, really likeable and a pleasure to be around. I'd have him back to my home anytime and he's my first choice for any future projects. A++.

Steve and Gina included their "people" in the review process to make sure to give an accurate estimate. When it ended up being more than my budget we were able to scale it back by using a similar tile for the patio extension rather than removing all of the old tiles and using new.  There was damaged cement from a previous old patio removal that they were able to repair along with the extension.  They found the exact tile that I had and it's now hard to tell where the old ends and the new begins so I'm happy that we went that route.  It took the crew just half a day to build the patio and it looks great! The roofer repaired some ugly areas that I had along with roofing the new patio cover.  There were two sections of my block wall that were damaged so that was stuccoed for a great improvement. Gina did a great job caulking my shower and finishing off a couple of protrusions from an earlier pool removal.  She used some stone veneers that I had on hand and cemented them in place. My gate was very heavy with a large piece of plywood on it so was hard to maneuver.  Steve said it could easily be fixed to work much better.  That was something that I hadn't thought of. He removed the large board and replaced a few fencing slats and leveled it up for an extra small fee.  They found and replaced a few paving blocks at no extra charge. The painter power washed and calked around the entire exterior and did an excellent job with the painting.  He took his time to make sure everything that was not to be painted was properly masked off.  Steve and Gina were very nice and professional and I would hire them again in a heartbeat should the need arise. In fact, I may have them come back to stucco the rest of my block wall so it all matches.

Phone calls of inquiry and follow-up were returned promptly and the manager and two workers sent out to do the work were polite and professional. The cabinet veneer repair was challenging, but the worker who came out to look and give an estimate came up with a good, less-expensive solution. He was unsuccessful in retexturing the drywall in the laundry room, but the company sent out a specialist, who was able to do a satisfactory job, though it's not a perfect match. The home was built in 1963, a time when texturing was common, though it is not common nowadays, so younger workers simply have no experience with how such textures were produced. A member of our family knew something about how the texturing might have been produced originally, and it was based on that information that the second worker was able to come close to the original texture. The two fellows who came to the house were very hardworking, and the company's willingness to be flexible and taylor jobs to individual needs was especially impressive. I should add there was little wait time in having the work begun after the estimate and getting the specialist to take care of the wall-texturing problem. My only reservation about the company is the pricing; it seemed a little high, but it could be competitive and so not necessarily higher than what others would charge.

AERIC THE HANDYMAN
Eric returned our call promptly for an estimate. He gave us a flat hourly rate. He arrived promptly, scoped out the work and set off to get materials. He ended up tearing out the bottom shelf of our under-sink cabinet in the kitchen and applied "new skins" to two other double sinks and a single sink. He neither under-sold or over-sold the work to be done. He performed his wood-cutting in the bed of his truck in our driveway. Eric is a very pleasant person to interact with. He completed the work in a very reasonable amount of time, which when multiplied out by his hourly rate, turned out to be a very satisfying price to pay for the work performed. His work turned out really well. Our cabinets look terrific and we are completely elated with the transaction. Before he left, we had a list started for his next visit: Ceiling fans, re-connecting plumbing after someone else installs new counter tops, a toilet and some screen repairs. Eric said he likes lists...

I called them and asked them about 2 small jobs. One was replacing just a small piece of veneer strip underneath some kitchen cabinets that had been damaged by some water that had gotten under there. The other one was to see if they could manufacture some shelves to match the existing shelving units that I have had, and the manufacturer no longer makes replacement shelves for it. They sent somebody out who was able to do the one job with the kitchen cabinets, but said he couldn?t do the other one. He did a fine job, but I suspect it might need more of somebody who is a cabinet maker than a handyman to do that. I haven?t called anybody else.

AGold Canyon Handyman & Design Build
Richard shows the highest level of integrity and kept me informed the entire way. I have 2 small children and he willingly accommodated our schedule. He quickly became friends with my 4 year old and showed a high level of respect and professionalism. His workmanship is superb and his design ideas were excellent. He recommended we do a walk in standing shower and his design ideas were perfect. I now havr the shower of my dreams. I was leery about hiring a contractor and did a lot of research. I'm beyond happy that I chose Gold Canyon Handyman and Richard. I will recommend him to Friends and Family and utilize him myself again, if ever needed.

AAZ NativeScapes
Craig and his team at AZ Nativescapes did an amazing, efficient job. They were all polite, informative and willing to make changes as we went. I enjoyed looking at materials and talking designs with Craig to make sure we created a perfect yard for our growing family. The entire process went far better than we ever expected and only took 4 days start to completion. Every email, call or text was returned promptly. Craig has been by a few times to check on the grass and make sure everything is growing well. We will recommend AZ Nativescapes to friends and family or we will use them ourselves if we ever move and need to create another perfect yard!

I am convinced that whatever your requirements are for repairs in the home, you should stop right here.  Larry is the person you are looking for.  I found out quickly why it took a while to get on his schedule. I could write a two page report on Larry's expertise, professionalism, knowledge, skill and work ethic, but I won't.  I will say that he is the most professional and innovative handyman I have ever seen.  No problem is beyond his resolve.  What appeared as a difficult problem to me was a " not to worry " for Larry.  When he showed up for work he never stopped until time to leave.  He would point out different was that might work better for the fob and never did he take a short cut.  He incorporated several small items that were not on the estimate that made the job polished.  At the end of the work day he cleaned up so as you never knew he had been there.  I would definitely call Larry for any l house job I might have in the future.
