Recent Review: These guys were fantastic from start to finish. Their communication was over the top. At all times I  knew what was going on and when anything changed that needed to be discussed. I checked with at least 5 other companies and none of them wanted to do the project . This company came right out the day after I called to give an estimate. The project was not easy as it was a mobile home that had three layers of siding. The only change in price was a small increase per window because of the unexpected layers of siding. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I am very impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone needing a variety of projects done. I believe these guys are capable of doing any construction task. I thankful that this company was available to do this project.

Recent Review: The work went very well. We are pleased with the result. We chose to purchase windows, doors and blinds per Paul's recommendations. Paul also recommended a sheetrock man and air conditioning man to install those items; both did outstanding jobs. Paul did the carpentry, insulation, electrical, trim, minor tile modifications, doors and windows. We chose to do the painting. Paul was always on time and completed the overall job on time. We appreciated Paul's willingness to allow us to do the purchasing and other work we could do to save money, and to offer suggestions. Paul's work is of high quality. He was always helpful and courteous. We got good value for our money.

Recent Review: For this job I got an estimate from a big box store and one from Republic West. Republic West's costs were higher (roughly 20%), but i decided it was worth the premium. The major differences: 1) Material. Box - Composite for cabinets and doors. RW - Cherry veneer for cabinets and solid cherry doors 2) Service. Box - Anonymous crew. RW - One primary, experienced craftsman 3) Risk. Box - Reputation not established. RW - Solid reviews  The job was difficult due to condition of the older, press board cabinets. My cabinet guy Scott was easy to work with and had a lot of experience. He spent about 2-1/2 days working on the project and did a very professional job on this tough assignment. Small details like the trim molding on the kick boards, levelness of the cabinets & hinges, and expert cuts on the corners of the veneer pieces stand out. The material was as advertised. The cherry veneer (stained locally) and solid cherry doors matched perfectly and look incredible. I tried out a couple different hardware options and Scott helped to guide me out of a potential mistake. (pulls and knobs were purchased on my own but RW installs). I found a brushed bronze color that matched the cabinets and appreciated the input in the decision process. Installed new drawers along with the cabinets including two soft close drawers. One of the cabinet pieces from the supplier was cut the wrong size. RW was expedient in getting a replacement and sent out an installer as soon as the piece arrived. They wouldn't take full payment until the piece was installed, showing their commitment to the completed project. Pros/Cons Price: Not the cheapest cabinet option - but definitely the best value. Install: Qualified professional installers Material: High quality Timeliness: Moderate. Had to wait a little bit past the arrival time window for first day of installation and for the one door replacement. Overall: Project was completed ahead of schedule and the finished product was of superior quality. I would used Republic West again

CHandyman Connection - Phoenix
Our recent dealings with the Handyman connection were rough, to day the least.  We needed a kitchen ceiling mudded and textured after I installed new lights. Since I have never done texturing before, I decided it would be much better to call in someone who has done it before. Our job was estimated to take about 4 hours, and was set up for a 4-hour period on a single afternoon.   The handyman was 3 hours late and worked 1 hour longer than originally estimated, eventually leaving at 9pm without the job being completed. Of course we had to stay up to clean up afterwards in order to use our kitchen the next day. The following day, the handyman had scheduled a 10:30 am appointment with us. Yet he did not show up to work until 6pm, without a call, text or any form of contact whatsoever. That was too late for us, so we rescheduled the work for two days later. Then, two days later, he showed up 30 minutes later than planned.  He worked 6 hours, left for three hours and then returned only to work until 9:30 pm again ? and the job was STILL not complete. And again, we were left with quite the clean-up job late at night. Earlier that same evening, we left a message with The Handyman Connection office stating that we absolutely had to have the job finished by the end of the day the next day.   We had a call back from the office at about 8:30 the next morning and they said that their employee would work on the project all day with no interruption until it was done.   Right after that call, the handyman showed up and stated that the work should only take a couple of hours. But, at about 1pm, he was still not done and again attempted to leave to go to another job!   At that point we had completely lost our patience.  We ?strongly encouraged? him to stay to get the job done while calling The Handyman Connection management to make sure that happened. Finally at 3:00 pm, the job was complete. Recall: this was mudding and texturing a 10? x 10? ceiling.   A job that was estimated to take 4 hours on an afternoon took 16 hours over 5 calendar days. I have to say that the final result in terms of quality was actually quite good.  Also, The Handyman Connection honored their original quote, which was very reasonable.   Thanks goodness there was no change to the cost of the job, or I may have completely lost it.  As they say, "good fast or cheap, pick two".   They were good and cheap, u but not fast (or reliable).

AHandyman Connection - Phoenix
I would like to say, I was very impressed with the first phone call to Handyman Connection and the quick call back response from Allen!  Explained in detail of what needed to be repaired from tearing down the ceiling in bedroom, installing new drywall to replacing trim and reinforcing sagging hallway ceiling in front bedrooms.  Allen provided his quote for the entire job and also provided an itemized bid if each item was to be done individually.  I was very impressed with speaking with Jared who I have spoken with to confirm when the job will start. I had the pleasure in meeting Jack and Partner that have done all the labor!  Very Pleased from start to finish and most of all the quick response time!  I would definitely hire them for future work for both of my rental properties and the house I live in.  Sincerely,  Ramona
