Recent Review: They were very easy to deal with in getting a quote and getting the time setup for the installation. The install was complete within a day and the flooring install looks good. There were however a few issues I have with the install. The leveling that was done on the subfloor wasn't completed to a level I'm completely satisfied with can notice some areas that deform a little when they are walked over. They did indicate that it might make more sense to have someone else handle the leveling of the subfloor but I was wanted someone to handle the entire install. In addition the install of the baseboards could have been a little better as there are some areas where there are gaps between the baseboard and the flooring that I feel could have been caulked. That being said considering the cost of the install was half of what some others had quoted me I was pretty happy overall. If you're planning on having your floor glued down I don't think you'll have any issues at all. If you plan on having a floating floor installed I would suggest getting someone else to handle the subfloor leveling if you chose to use them for the flooring install.

Recent Review: Regal Bath and Kitchens did an excellent job from start to finish. We met with Rich and had a quote within a week that detailed the job scope and gave us allowances on our choices for materials including tiles, plumbing fixtures, quartz countertop and replacement tub. After approving the quote, we met with Rich at his business in Mesa to review the project details and make a down payment. We set a work start date at this meeting. This meeting was several weeks prior to the start date of the project, thus giving us time to finish selecting all our remaining materials. We liked working with a company who plans a future timeline and takes the schedule seriously. Rich was able to meet the agreed upon start date and we appreciated that. We had several team members working on the project, each person with an area of expertise. All the workers were very courteous, professional, tidy and friendly. Work progressed very smoothly. Mario did the lion’s share of the work, very often working alone. Mario is a skilled craftsman who has many various skills including being an excellent tile installer. He pays attention to the details, which is of crucial importance in making any project a success. He kept a regular and punctual schedule, which was appreciated. He was open to our input and communicative with us. That was also appreciated. Mario did a beautiful job with the wall tile installation! We couldn’t be more pleased with it. He has an ability to foresee problems in a tile layout and to prevent them. He built the bench at the end of the tub and the tub niche and he installed a perfect tile layout, which we love!! Our tile runs continuously across parts of all 4 walls, which is a tile design that has built-in challenges. The work is flawless. The floor tile was also beautifully done by Mario. The floor tiles are huge, each individual tile is 2 feet by 4 feet. He worked all alone laying these tiles. All the tile cuts are perfect, and the floor is level and exquisite. We are extremely happy with the new bathroom and the work that all the employees at Regal Bath and Kitchens did. We have another bathroom to do and we will certainly use Regal again and we recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Recent Review: I was very overwhelmed with the thought of this process but when I contacted AZ Stone and Tile Concepts, their knowledge and understanding of where I was coming from made all of that disappear. They had great suggestions and never once did I feel like I was being upsold - they truly understood what I needed and worked with me to make it work.   The tear out was extremely messy from the Saltillo tile but they kept the work area clean and were very tidy throughout the whole process. They were on time every day throughout the job and when they left each evening - they had everything put away.  They did not leave materials laying around and were very conscious to keep the work area clean.  That just solidified the pride they take into performing top notch work and I couldn't be happier.  They were very responsive and available during the entire job and I would highly recommend them to anyone. The work and overall experience far exceeded my expectations. .

Recent Review: Living and dining rooms plus after seeing their work I had new solid hickory flooring installed in my new home. Also updated the baseboards. Absolutely beautiful!! It was a good investment. They were much more reasonable than other flooring companies. Larry and his son and their small crew do a great job and are so nice to work with, a real pleasure.

Recent Review: Sammy was very professional and helpful through out our process. He communicated very well and was always easy to get hold of when we had questions. He was very patient with us in making a big financial decision, and was willing to help us out with as many options as he could. The team that came in and laid the flooring was professional, efficient, and detailed. My parents have gotten their flooring from Sammy and so has my family. We would highly recommend Sammy and this company Floor Coverings International of Scottsdale to anyone looking at flooring.

Reviews in Queen Creek to Install Bamboo Flooring

AMaster of Wood Floors in Phoenix Arizona
Gaby and his crew did an excellent job laying about 650 ft of Bamboo I had picked up from LL. I had planned to do the install myself, but we had company coming and time was slipping away. Gaby charged a very reasonable price for the install using all the materials I had purchased and the only upcharge that he quoted upfront was undercutting the baseboard to eliminate the need for quarter round at the edges. The floor looks amazing and I can't thank Gaby enough for completing our project so quickly. Even though he had estimated 2 days to complete everything they came in and got it all done in just 1. Amazing, considering it would've taken me at least 6 days by myself.

CLUMBER LIQUIDATORS
I think I paid probably 5 grand for the flooring and then another 4 grand for installation. The service was quick. They were able to get my product in really fast and ready to install pretty fast too. They did a very bad job of installation. There were two issues that I had altogether with the company. One, they had a price match guarantee that within a month if the price went down I would get refunded. Well, the day after I had bought my hardwood flooring and had gotten it delivered, they had a sale for the taxes to be paid on it. I called them up and I asked them. Corporate said since it was a local deal the only way I'd be able to get it back is from the store I got it from. I called them and they said, "Well, for that type of deal for you to get it back you'd have to return all of the flooring and do the sale again and by the time we charged you delivery and return you wouldn't get your money back anyway." So I felt that was very, very rude and kind of sketchy for them to advertise that and then go ahead and tell me, "No, we won't give you your money back." It would have been like $700 or $800. If they would have told me the day ahead of time that if I had just waited one more day, that I would have gotten a better discount that would have been really nice of them as well, but they didn't. Then the other issue was with the installation. They had a third-party company come in and do the installation. Through the installation they had broken the tracking on one of my doors by rolling over a power cord that they had run through my house outside. They had run the door over it and broke the tracking on it. A lot of the hardwood flooring is starting to come up and bubble like there is creaky spots. When they installed it I told them that, "Hey, I can stick a coin in between the wood. Is this appropriate?" They said, "Yeah, we need that space for it to expand and contract over the winter." Well, I don't really feel like I should be able to stick a quarter in between the wood planks. And last but not least, I had just painted the entire house and they had gotten sealant all over my walls and I was never able to get it out. I called them out on this. I called Lumber Liquidators out on this and nobody felt like it was their responsibility to fix it.

AArizona Hardwood Floor Supply Inc
AZ Hardwood was contracted to install our bamboo flooring.  Everyone was great, from our salesman to our installer.  It took a little longer than expected to obtain the bamboo from the supplier but that was not AZ Hardwood's fault.  Once they received the floor, everything went like clockwork.  The installer was on time and very professional.  They delivered our flooring on budget as well, which was great.  I'd gladly recommend them to anyone looking for hardwood flooring.  It's all they do and it shows.

DSpecialized Flooring
First, late twice, never bothered to call until I called the manager a couple times. When ever a service provider is coming, give a call, especially if you are going to be late. I had to have them come at 6:00A.M. because the first time their truck had a flat. Wasn't until several hours later I found out about it. So, I needed to leave the home by 7:00, and because of them being late and slow, didn't get out until 7:30. Apparently I needed to baby sit these folks, as there are gaps between the boards (pain to clean), gap at the end of one of the boards, base boards done sloppy and need to be now painted, and the back door doesn't close right. In short, no pride in workmanship! Tried for over a month to get a hold of them, but got nothing but excuses; the customer is always right! Then when I asked for the job to be corrected, Roland went very aggressive and mean, including telephone harassment. I called a mediator and David got it set up for the workers to come back. When I finally get the fellow out, and he doesn't have his tools to fix the door! Said David's fault as didn't know he was fixing the threshold. Said he call when he had a chance to swing by, but give me a couple days notice. Well, the worker  called Tuesday while I was in the hospital and demanded to come over. I explained I was in the hospital but he said the only chance to have it corrected. Guess he wanted me to cut the I.V. lines and get a cabbie over to meet him? Luckily my Mother was visiting so he met him. Guess he decided he could take advantage of her, as the door is only slightly better! To top it off, he wanted the boards he left behind in the middle of the living room! He didn't ask the first time he came to fix the door and when I asked him to clean up the mess he had made (yes I left the trash they made so as could be taught how to be professional). Talk about taking advantage of women! Folks, if you are going to have workers from a lower social-economic culture, you must stand over them! Don't trust that they have the same values as others. Once you see they are doing well, back off so not a bother, but keep tabs. Over all, very disappointing. Yes, I needed to over see the job. But, with my Autism, I am a very trusting fellow and hard to get emotions. The job should have been easy to correct, however it wasn't. David really needs to get better equipment and hire more qualified team members (rather than workers) who at least understand English. If there is a response to this, be careful in accepting it! Roland isn't the nicest person to cross, so doubt he will take this easily. In short, hire at your own risk! I went by the great reviews and award, but apparently we are all not perfect. So, if you do hire, keep a close watch on them.

DBaroldy Custom
Removal of tile and disposal went well. Bamboo floor installation took a few weeks more than initial estimate of a few days. John was there for very little of the work. He sent someone else who complained anytime we explained our preferences and showed poor work ethic and craftsmanship in several instances. All that remains to be done at this point is the installation of transitions and gap filling. After a few months of trying to get this final touch up work done we gave up. John Baroldy is capable of coming up with more excuses than anyone I've ever met: He lost his cell phone twice, dropped it once, had a car accident, and fired the guy that was doing all of his work in the several months we were unfortunate enough to know him. I strongly recommend staying away from his services.

We would never use this company again.  It has taken me awhile to write this because we loved one of his workers, Mario.  We would hire Mario again in a heartbeat.   The guy in charge of this company gave us a whole song and dance when we were deciding to use him.  He told us he would have a team of 5 guys working on the project.  He said he likes to treat the houses as if they were his own house.  He told us the project would take a max of 5 days.  The truth - he only sent one guy one the first day.  The next 4 days we only had 2 guys.  He only showed up on the job once or twice for an hour or so.  They charge $100 per room to move furniture out of the room yet some of our furniture was damaged and I had to make a case to him so that we could get a $100 discount.  We asked him if the transition pieces would stay in place and said we were concerned because the bamboo flooring was higher than the tile.  He swore they would stay glued down - - they didn't.  One of the workers used less glue under neath the bamboo flooring and so now we have a ridge in the middle of our living room floor.  The job took 7 days instead of 5 days.  The last day they were rushing so much we had to remind them of things they forgot to do. It was obvious that this company just started.  When you work with this company they do not seem proud of their work - they seem to think about the money only.  (Except for Mario - we feel lucky that he was there to do part of the flooring.)

ACarman Brothers Flooring
Carman Brothers Flooring was referred to me in 2007 by aka Green to install bamboo flooring in my home. This year I was able to finish by having the living room done. Altogether they have installed approximately 1500 sq ft of flooring and it was beautifully done. The product was ordered through akaGreen where Nathan picked it up and brought to my home to acclimate before installation. Nathan and brother Justin arrived promptly at 8 a.m. the day of the install and worked long and hard, completing the job by about 7:30 p.m. The job included putting trim at the bottom of the baseboards as well. The floor was cleaned and furniture placed - even putting protectors on the bottom as needed. I couldn't be happier!

ADave's Floors on Wheels DBA Stylish Floor Covering
The project went great from start to finish. It was a smaller job and we were glad Dave was willing to take it on. Ours is an older home, built in the 1950's. The project included putting bamboo over a concrete slab.

ASCOTT'S CUSTOM FLOORING
I really liked the job they did because they were on time and the quality of work they did was just spectacular. They got done pretty fast and they cleaned up afterwards and left everything looking great. I don't remember what I paid, but it was inexpensive.

ADiamondback Hardwood Floors
I was afraid my job was too small, but Greg came over and gave me a very fair estimate. I had to wait for a few weeks to get the job done, but it was more than worth the wait. Scott did a great job, and was very professional in his deportment. I'd really done a job on the floor, and while it still isn't perfect (never will be unless I replace the boards,) it is much, much better. Greg and Scott were both very forthcoming that the job wouldn't be perfect, but it's much better than I thought it could be. The estimate was dead-on, and I will absolutely use them again. "Angie's List" was great again. We've used it at least four or five times, and the reports have always been right on. Thanks so much for the service!
