Recent Review: The 2 man work team (Jason and David) arrived each day precisely at 0700 and finished the days work at 3- 3:30 PM, leaving the work area clean and neat. The men worked very quietly, save the sanding machine, and worked well together providing very professional results, and were pleasant and cooperative to deal with. The job progressed as Mat, the owner, had predicted when he presented the estimate. The job was finished in 5 days, Monday to Friday. Mat monitored and supervised the job progress on a daily basis. High quality Sherwin Williams paint products were used and the finished result exceeded our expectations, we couldn't be more pleased with the whole project, including the price. We are planning additional interior painting of rooms and will contract with Manning 's Painting Company to do the additional work.

Business Description: Arizona Color Quest Painting has been a licensed and bonded company since 2001. Roc #170899 I started in the painting, drywall and wall covering industry in 1983 when I was 16 years old. Since then I have worked with some of Arizona's largest painting companies such as Pete King and Ghaster Painting completing many jobs in both commercial and residential. I completed top of my class 3 years interior decorating and design through the Phoenix Painters Union Local 86 and I have worked on projects such as the Wildlife World Zoo building and painting exhibits for over 10 years, Phoenix City Hall, Pointe resorts as well as many residential projects new and repaint. I have a vast knowledge in the construction industry and don't "just throw the paint on". I know what causes the underlying problems and how to CORRECTLY fix it. I was also a Superintendent for Del Webb Coventry and participated in the building of many large housing divisions such as Anthem, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, McDowell Mountain Ranch Stetson Hills and Kensington Estates in Mesa just to name a few. I have a very strong reputation for my integrity and quality and can provide many reliable and VERY satisfied references upon request. I have never had any complaints with ROC and provide a high quality job with attention to detail. If you are looking fo a low ball scab painter then I am not your painter. I believe in quality over quantity and with quality quantitiy will come. For a FREE ESTIMATE please call Duane Osborne at 623-332-8480. Thank you.
Outstanding. I especially appreciate their attention to detail. They do everything and do it well. I appreciate they not taking shortcuts that would be easier for them to do the job, but not quality work. They focus on quality and yet are willing to work with the homeowner for cost effective solutions.

AAcra Construction LLC
Acra's dry wall work turned around a challenging project. I was trying to manage building work in Arizona from Ohio, using daily calls with friends at the site to stay on top of the progress. One day, the call was strained because of drywall issues. I found Acra online and called them looking for help at the end of their work day. After I explained my situation to Carl Smith, Acra had a hard-working drywall team at my house in remote Amado the very next morning. The team from Acra not only did a beautiful job on the drywall, completing the rounded corners and attractive texturing I had hoped for, they also worked well with my friends and got the whole project back on track. Carl came out to my house on my next visit to Amado, to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Wow!

The entire project went incredibly well. David Good is a perfectionist when it comes to construction and painting, both interior and exterior. He uses the best paint and materials, is meticulous about edge lines and other details, and works quickly and efficiently. He cleans up during and after the job so you don't even know he was there. I have used him before and will use him again in the future. Many Sedona AZ neighbors have commented on how terrific the new paint looks on the house!

ACanyon Meadows Remodel And Repair
I emailed the business owner and he responded by a phone call. We agreed on a time to meet at the house and Mike arrived right on time. Mike determined the drywall damage was caused by a leak at the edge of the window flashing outside on the roof. We agreed on a price and he scheduled the work later that week. He fixed the leak and tested it over a period of a couple of days. After he was satisfied the window would not leak, he replaced the drywall, textured and painted. He ordered the paint to match the existing paint and took care of picking it up, too. The job is perfect--you cannot tell where the repair was. I was pleased to discover every bit of debris had been cleaned up and there was not anything to indicate any repair work had been done. I am very happy with Canyon Meadows Remodeling and Repair and will definitely call them for any future work.

John is hands down the best contractor I have ever worked with. They are very fairly priced - do quality work and show up on time every time. John answers the phone at all times and when he can't he calls back promptly. His crew is great and very good at what they do. We had drywall, painting, flooring and general work done. If he can't do it he knows someone that can! When they left for the day they always cleaned up the work area - even if they would be back the first thing the following day. We had absolutely no issues at all - and we had a fairly large project.

ATWD - Design. Build. Remodel.
They showed up on time, very prompt in arrival and on completion date. They worked cleanly and were dressed professionaly for the trade. The work turned out very nice, and they did great in the follow up as well. Someone was sent out to my home after the work was completed to make sure it was satisfactory. All in all they did a great job.

We are very pleased with all the work that Dave Good completed for us. His carpentry, drywall and painting skills are excellent and Dave went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with his work. As a realtor, Dave served as a buyer's agent for us and, again, did a great job! Not often do you find someone who is as talented and skilled in so many areas of remodeling as Dave is. We are glad to be in our new house and have already booked him for several more projects.

Experience was great. Bob has never failed to follow up and is always punctual. He even did favors of picking up other materials for me as I don't have a truck. Great team and great service. Worked fast and the team was efficient. Bob was also flexible. As the projects went on we made changes to the scope and Bob also recommended changes based on the project progressing. None of this was a problem. Great job.

John took a real long time to make our guest cottage presentable and I would have thought nothing of that if the quality had been good. He kept putting me off and promising me that he would show up and perform and would not perform time and time again. He continually asked for money upfront and then would break most every promise to perform. The quality was continually rushed with little to no care for the quality but just to get it done. Much of the work he did will have to be redone. He continually talked about himself and all the wonderful things he was doing for others in the community. Next time, I just want someone who doesn't spend the time talking about what they have done and what they will do and just do the job at the level of quality that they would want some other handyman working on their home. If he is honest, he would admit that he would not be happy with the quality of work done on our guest cottage and would be aware of the many, many times he made promises that were broken. He would also provide a copy of all parts purchased on my credit card. I would not recommend him to anyone who is in a position where they have to trust a handyman because they lack the skill set to evaluate the job being done. If you know construction, and have the time to sit on the site and watch his work and how he spends your money at the parts store, then I would say, you are in much better shape to get what is right and just. Oh, and what ever you do, do not pay him upfront! Update as of June 2012, I have water leaks in the kitchen and in the bathroom and had to pay to have a plumber redo John's plumbing. The leaks were discovered by my first house guest to use the cottage since John's remodel job. One of the windows John installed also had to be redone last week. The window had to be taken out by a licensed construction company and that was when they discovered there was no supporting material for the window and an existing pipe was cut to make room for the window. This window John installed was done recklessly and without a conscious to doing the right thing from a handyman standpoint for a customer. The cost keeps racking up to correct the work John rushed through to do. The licensed contractor who reinstalled the window told me if he had installed a new window the way John did, he would have his license taken away . Would John have wanted this lack of quality of work done to him at his home? Stop talking the talk and walk the talk. He really should not be working on anyone's home.
