Reviews in Overgaard for Building a Pool House

AMountainaire Construction LLC
Cody, the master building constructor, did an outstanding job on an old stone shed that was not square. He was very conscientious with attention to every detail. A very hard worker. Tim, his boss, was very professional and businesslike. All in all, they were very honest and we can hardly wait to hire them again.

This could not have been easier. We looked at the sheds on the lot about a week ago and spoke with the salesman, Dart Clark. He gave us some information about the one we were interested in, no pressure, no sales pitch, and we were on our way. We called him on Wednesday. He said he remembered us and confirmed the shed and price we had chosen. Again, no pressure, no upselling. Everything was handled over the phone. He was able to arrange delivery and installation on Friday, and that process was smooth and professional as well.

We did not pour a new slab, but built on cinder block footings. Shed is 2 rooms, a 6' x 12' storage room and a 12 ' x 18' workshop. It is insulated and the interior is fully finished. Three windows with security bars and two external doors with security doors. As before, David provided receipts for materials.

Repeat do not do business with this company!! Did several construction jobs- poured foundation for shed concrete hardened before smoothed out-blamed hot cement from cement plant 5000 wasted - constructed shed never completed and took three times quoted time and twice the cost- did minor interior work structural work in home never completed jobs- assured me that all jobs were documented and within county specs with no need for certain permits- then after extorting for more money which was ignored turned me into the county stating all work he performed as not permitted improvements- county reviewed inspected and found no fault-BEWARE of Michael Ray Rhoda (contractor of Cottonwood AZ and Yavapai county)

Aaron is competent, capable, outgoing, reliable, personable, honest as the day is long, and too many more superlatives to list here. Well, one more: “Follow-up, follow-up, follow up”, is his watchword. He checked with us on a daily basis to make sure things were going as we hoped and expected. And oh, yes, did I mention that I’d also trust him with my life? Well, to keep it brief, he’s d*** good, as are the people who work for him, Francisco, Miguel, Nancy, Aurilio, and David to name a few. I think he has about 20 employees, and they handle most aspects of home remodeling, including painting, flooring, roofing, and several other things I haven’t thought about. They didn’t all work on our project, but the ones named above did. Professional! There’s another one. They know what they’re doing, and they do it right. In this instance, it was to do the interior and exterior work that would get our house ready to put on the market, and from the first day that I talked to Aaron, that became his goal too. I got estimates from a couple of other well-commended firms that did painting, but they didn’t do flooring. I chose Aaron, even though his price for the painting was higher, because he could do all three in a coordinated and efficient way. I’m glad I did, because we got more than our money’s worth, and I didn’t have to do much worrying about it, Aaron did that. Oh, I forgot “timely” in the superlative department. We started the 3rd of November, and he gave me an estimate of November 5th for finishing, then beat that by two days. In case you’re wondering, no, I’m not related to Aaron, and I never met him before. I’m saying these nice things about him because they’re true, he deserves them, and he’s majorly impressive. And yes, I wouldn’t hesitate a millisecond to use him again. In fact, I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out how, but we’re selling the house and moving to Arizona, so it’s going to be hard.

The joy this project has brought is unbelievable. We've lived with it now for a few months and I was having trouble finding the words to express a snapshot of what happened here. But I want people to know this was a great experience. First of all the Dwell Well group is a and quot;Team.and quot; There is respect and expertise throughout and each person we met seemed as excited about their part of the remodel as we were. They listened to us and to each other. When the demolition started, I about had a heart attack. Ceilings and walls came down and holes were cut in the wall. Each night, they cleaned and swept and tried to contain the mess in a caring respectful manner. This helped. There were a few unforeseen problems like the floor in the living room was not level making the laminate flooring a challenge to lay down. We were out of State when this happened and it was solved by the Dwell Well team in a professional manner that did not just put a band-aid on the problem but made our floor as level as they could get it and the laminate secure and flexible. Doors were finished expertly and the color coordinates throughout the remodel area. Finishes down to the streamlined door stops are amazing. We added a Pella sliding door out the back. It has blinds in the glass and what a plus that has been. We've grown to love the luxury of having the blinds inside the glass and it feels like more of necessity now (smile). Our previous kitchen became an office with a beautiful pocket door. I can't believe that little bitty room was but it makes a great office. The kitchen was so much fun to design because of Greg and the team. From the beginning Greg encouraged us to pick what we loved and not settle. For some this is easy but for me not so much and his interest in making sure we were certain was a great help. I believe he really takes time to know each person and understand how to help. Thinking back, I had trouble making selections on counter tile; I went with tile because I liked the look and was trying to cut costs a bit. Greg encouraged me to keep looking until I found something I loved. He was right and I did. Then, Rogelio, a part of the Dwell Well team, laid the tile with matching grout that is thin and durable. He added a metal edge around the counters that is beautiful. The under counter lighting and recessed lights are bright and shed light in all the right places. Living here is like being in a new home and we are so grateful to have had such a positive experience.
