CCARRILLO BUILDERS & HOME
Job was completed several days earlier than the deadline. Experienced additional unexpected costs to meet county code building requirements. Very difficult to get timely responses back by email or telephone - only half of the calls were returned. The garage door opener was not the brand or the quality that I had requested.

dan showed up when he said he would was very professional and was trusted by the county building department. Dan made a few modifications on the installation ,but made the changes working hand in hand with the county inspector.Overall I find dan lauderbach a refreshing experience in dealing with previous fly by night "contractors from the past. I would recommend him any time..He really knows his stuff...

The homes they built for personal friends were all built in Yavapai County. The County Building Safety Department will tell you if you ask the right questions that this company provides quality plans that includes top quality engineering. The inspectors will tell you that Cavenaugh always passes their inspections and the products they use are always of the best quality available. Homeowners are always satisfied with construction done by this company. I would use them anytime if i could afford a home in the area they build.

Cody, the master building constructor, did an outstanding job on an old stone shed that was not square. He was very conscientious with attention to every detail. A very hard worker. Tim, his boss, was very professional and businesslike. All in all, they were very honest and we can hardly wait to hire them again.

1. Flat rolled roof had over 100 leaks. This was torn up and redone with about 50 leaks. We went through this process 4 times with the roof still leaking. 2. Floor was 2 inches higher on one side of the home to the other. 3. Spare bath was not to code and had to be redone. This made it impossible to add sink and freezer to mud room we contracted for. 4. We asked for home to be modeled after our previous home and furnished photos. We ended up with an open beam ceiling when we wanted a clean white solid ceiling. 5. A drain was to be put in the patio area and never done even after order by ROTC.. 6. Appliances were never purchased. 7. Lighting for the home was never purchased. 8 Plumbing RI were never purchased even though he turned in a voucher for a 6 foot tub. 9. Our home was to be finished within 6 months and was never completed by Jay Yordt. 10.Concrete Walk & Drive, Patio Stoops not finished. 11. Drywall & insulation needed to be replaced in wet areas. 12. Electrical not finished. 13. Lighting None. 14. Plumbing fixtures (toilets, sinks, tub, etc) none in home. 15. We had to pay another contractor to finish the home. We had a construction loan and with the home costing a total of 340,000 we did not have the funds to secure a permanent loan with the bank and they foreclosed. We lost our 40 aces and the home. We were forced to move back to California and live with our daughter. We have no idea where $145,000 went.
Recent Review: Southwest Building Solutions is the very best contractor I have ever used. From the beginning, working with Collin to get the building I was looking to get built at the right price. From there I met with Scott the owner of the company and we discussed all the things I wanted from the building size and add-ons; no other builder came close to getting what I wanted. When I finished talking to Scott, I knew I had the right builder. I then moved on to Chris the superintendent he also worked with me to make sure that all the things that were discussed were going to be completed. He also followed up several times to make sure that happened. The building crew moved on to the jobsite with Kevin as the supervisor they were the most professional crew I could have asked for. Every day they cleaned up the job site and made sure all the equipment was parked in line and professionally. The build took 5 days and the doors 1 day for a total of 6 days. This is amazing especially because I am very picky about quality and workmanship. If you are looking to get the best steel building contractor Southwest Building Solutions is the one.
Recent Review: I was out of town when the construction was to begin. Right from the start, the plans called for the foundation of the Garage to be over our electrical service to the cabin. We were required to move the foundation. David used Drone technology to send me photos on the best location to reset the Foundation. I cannot express how well the job went and all the added touch's David made. It was as if he was building his own garage. He out performed our expectations. I wouldn't look to anyone else for future construction or remodeling needs.
