WHALEY'S ROOFING
Recent Review: They set everything up through email, including installation and status updates, and made it a simple process. We don't live in the house - it's a vacation home, so we appreciated the fact they made the whole process easy. They did a great job. We'd recommend them to anyone.

Vertex Metal Roofing
Recent Review: John Roper represented his company Vertex Roofing very well. His knowledge of standing seam metal roofing is beyond compare--other roofers simply came out with metal samples and claimed to "know how to install all kinds of roofs". John, however, knows every nuance of metal roofing--from materials, to install details, to environmental pros/cons and comparisons to asphalt shingle. He can talk metal roofing for hours--and still have more info to share via email. Given metal roofing is an expensive endeavor--a prospective client needs an informative person to take them through the process.  John's install crew led by Doug was on time and very professional.  They worked in oppressive heat--over 5 days--and created a beautiful roof. Even when the metal arrived with a slightly different width--the seams worked out fine and exactly as John predicted. John also helped me choose a metal fascia with a contrasting color to wrap my wood roof underhangs, negating the need to ever paint those wood areas agin.  The net effect is a professionally designed roof-- on a relatively small house (1400 square feet) which, given the color choice (light brown)--blends well with the neighborhood. (All other roofs are asphalt shingle).  My standing seam roof will last for 25-30 years--yes, the price is easily double that of typical asphalt shingle, but my energy savings and lack of needing a new roof will pay for itself down the road.  John also referred a gutter installer--that project happens soon with matching metal gutters.

Hahn Roofing LLC
Recent Review: Overall, very well. Had a few minor issues with clean-up/job completion, but they were quickly resolved when Jeremy came out to review the job. Jeremy (owner) was extremely helpful in explaining options ahead of time, and in suggesting the color (he was spot-on). Team was hard-working, even in extreme heat, and completed the job well within the estimated time. I'm thrilled with the final results, roof looks fabulous. Several neighbors have called/stopped by also to compliment it.

AHALE'S ROOFING CO INC
Of the three roofers who came to the house to discuss the project, Chad from Hale's Roofing was the standout in every respect. The other two weren't bad, but Chad was the most thorough, explaining all of my options, giving me his recommendation but not pushing it, going over with me what would be done, noticing a certain problem and explaining how it would be addressed, recommending a website I could go to that was the best for viewing different shingle colors.. And when his estimate arrived as an email attachment, it was the most detailed in enumerating what would be done. He was so much more professional that I fully expected Hale's estimate to be the highest. I'd decided I'd go with Hale's anyway, it turned out that one of the other roofer's estimate was significantly higher. , but I'd decided I'd pay it anyway--but one of the other

DENERGY ROOFERS
Monte was pleasant and helpful, but I selected a different roofer who came across more professionally--providing a more thorough explanation of what my options were, what needed to be done, and how he would do it. All of the roofers I spoke with said they'd send me an estimate by email, but either I never received an estimate from Energy Roofers or I accidentally deleted it with the spam even though I thought I was being careful to search the spam for the estimates from unrecognized addresses. Another roofer whom I didn't choose called to make sure I'd received their estimate; Energy Roofers didn't bother.

CHahn Roofing LLC
Jeremy was pleasant and helpful, but I decided to use a different roofer who not only came across more professionally--providing a more thorough explanation of what my options were, what needed to be done, and how he would do it--but offered a lower estimate. Jeremy did explain my options, but declined to make a recommendation. Perhaps there's a stereotypical difference between male and female clients in this regard (I am the latter), but while I like to be informed of my options and make up my own mind, I want to feel I can trust the service provider to make an expert recommendation that's in my best interest, not his.
