Recent Review: Talked to Rush about a problem I had with water coming in one corner of my house after storms. Rush could have easily made some easy money coming out to fix the problem. After taking the time to listen to my description of what was going on though, he walked me through the steps I could take on my own to fix the problem pretty easily. It's always nice to find someone who is willing to help you out like that. Thanks Rush!

B-Dry Waterproofing and Foundation Repair
Recent Review: I had moisture issues in one corner of my finished basement.  (It appeared the concrete blocks behind the finished wall were probably damp, but I didn't really have many external signs.)  Ryan came out, looked at the problem, took measurements, and sketched me a solution.  He gave me the solution and the estimated cost in writing, but didn't in any way pressure me to accept the offer on the spot, which I LOVED.  I chose B-Dry for the reasonable cost and their ratings on here.  The crew showed up a little early (like 20 minutes or so) and walked through with me what they were going to do.  They got to work and most of the job went really smoothly.  They were going to tie the sump pump into the same line that my gutters drain into, but they discovered that the line was completely clogged.  They figured out a solution on the spot, talked to a manager, and quoted me a very fair price to run a new drain line.  After I told them to go ahead, they finished the rest of the planned work and also installed the new drain line.  The crew worked about a 12 hour day, partially because of the added work, but I really appreciated them getting the job done in one day.  I would definitely hire them again if I had a similar problem.

Recent Review: We'd been planning to redo our old bathroom and had been putting off repairs for a few years.  Then at 3am one morning a monsoon storm flooded our master bedroom and bath.  Water flowed in under an old window, damaging the carpet, the walls, and the windowsill; also dripping through the ceiling in a few places.  We spent hours dragging wet carpet out of the house and sponging up puddles of water from the bare concrete slab. After the insurance appraisal came in, we thought about all the other repairs and improvement plans we'd been putting off.  It only made sense to get everything fixed the way we'd always wanted it.  We researched several contractors and Kirk Development was the best choice.  Devin Kempster listened to all of our needs and wants, and helped us craft a plan that fit our budget.  Kirk Development is known as a high-end contractor, but their cost was very reasonable, especially considering their great attention to detail and to getting everything just right. We decided to redo half the house, living in the other half during construction.  Construction superintendent Don Hannah carefully scheduled the trades workers for minimal disruption, making sure we were well aware of who was coming into our house to do what, and when.  Don made sure we knew when our decisions were needed to keep the work flowing at a steady pace.  A couple of times, items we had bought on our own turned out to have problems getting installed.  Devin and Don worked closely with us to resolve every issue that came up, minimizing the impacts.  When we needed time to make a major decision, Don would put related work on hold, so there was no need for rework. Kirk Development's flooring tile subcontractor is the best I've ever seen.  The concrete slab in our house is not flat, and our walls are not square.  The large floor tiles were laid on the diagonal, which makes the floor look bigger and effectively hides the lack of square walls.  The floor has been evened out and now appears flat.  Tile cuts are precise; the corner details are flawless, and the shower/tub is truly amazing.   Back in 1978 when our house was built, roman tubs were fashionable and building oversight was lax.  Our old roman tub had been falling apart and leaking badly through the foundation.  A traditional tub wouldn't fit in the space, so we opted to rebuild the roman tub. Kirk Development rebuilt the tub properly, with insulation and several layers of waterproofing under the tiles.  To remedy our long wait for hot water to kick in, Kirk Development  installed a recirculating pump at the water heater.  I can now enjoy deep soaking baths that keep warm for hours. I could not be happier with our completed renovation.  Whenever I use our new master bath I feel like I'm visiting a spa.  Very rejuvenating.  Kirk Development did a masterful job of coordinating and constructing the work, with minimal impact to us during the process.  We plan to use them again when we're ready to start phase 2, remodeling the kitchen.  I highly recommend Kirk Development.

They're very good.  I would recommend them.  They came exactly when they said they would.  They gave me an estimate.  They came back, did the work quick, and everything was perfect.  I just say they were prompt.  I would use the company again in the future.

They gave a fair price estimate and honored it, arrived on time each day of the job, worked hard while they were here, and left us with what feels like a brand new deck. Two weeks ago it rained for two days straight and the deck held up perfectly. Not one drop of water seeped through. We're very happy with the job that Absolute Waterproofing did and would recommend their services to others.

Had a conversation with Rush and he agreed to come out. I told him we weren't in a hurry and if he needed to book another day, that was ok. He said no, he'd come out on a Saturday and called back with a time later in the week to confirm. Saturday morning, Rush called to cancel. Understandable. His current appt was running long and it was up near Cave Creek. Didn't offer to reschedule but instead asked me to send pictures. Well, I knew that he had no interest in the work and even though I had suspicions, I sent the pics anyway. Not another word from Rush. He could have not wasted my time, but I guess it was easier to brush me off. Funny, he complained about Millenials not wanting to work hard and impacting his business. I won't speak to the quality of the work, but it seems to me he would do well focus on running a professional business before casting blame elsewhere.
