Positives: Their installers were great. Very hard-working and professional, perfect except for forgetting to put the trim back up in a couple of closets. We discovered this later and had a handy-man do it. They worked long hours and on weekends to get this done on time for us, so no biggie if a small detail got lost in the shuffle. There was an estimation mistake, costing them a couple hundred dollars I think, and they absorbed that, as they should have. Communication was good. They accommodated a tight schedule. Negatives: former owner, now salesman, is slimy slick and has an answer for everything when talking price. Super smooth and every effort to lower the price was firmly rebuffed. It was kind of amazing, watching him in action, being quick and tricky with his responses. Felt like we were dealing with a slick business man not a genuine neighbor. Would not work with him again due to the feeling of being "handled" not served. We enjoy working with sincere, genuine, kind people. We had to move quickly into a new house and every other flooring store could not do the installation in the amount of time we had. B & L knew they had us there, and the prices were high for the product and the installation. We hope to never be in that position again, where we can't take the time to get bids on a big job. We felt the total cost was too high. The younger salesman, can't recall his name, worked with us throughout the installation, and he was a pleasure to work with.
