This is my second time having Kenny and Matthew do work at our house. I was so pleased with both Kenny and Matthew when they first worked at our house on 9/11/13 (please read that detailed review), that I asked them to come back a second time to install both a whole house point of entry water softening system and a separate carbon filter. While doing that installation, Kenny and Matthew found a defect that we were unaware of when purchasing our home (home inspectors don't have in depth knowledge). It turns out we have an emergency shut off panel that numerous plumbing hoses extend out from and then go to various areas around the house. The emergency shut off parts were plastic and had become defective since they were originally installed 10-11 years ago. Also, the size of the hoses extending out were not the standard industry size, so Kenny had to track down the original company and special order a new one for us. Kenny was honest and told us that it would be less expensive to custom order that panel then to buy an industry standard panel and then pay lots of money to Kenny to make all the changes that an industry standard panel would require. Prior to starting the install of the water softening system and carbon block filter, Kenny explained what he was going to do and let me know that the "free" Labor Day Sale carbon block filter that came with the "paid for" water softening system did not have a pressure relief valve for when I have to change that filter, so he added one during the installation. Kenny also gave me the choice of having the tank sit on a concrete pad or on the ground, rather than just adding it himself and increasing the cost. Kenny's very straight forward about the situation he's dealing with, tells it like it is, and offers you a choice. Both Kenny and Matthew are both patient in explaining what's going on, what my choices are, what their recommendation is, and then allow me to make the choice. While they were here to work on this big project, they also replaced my refrigerator filter, fixed the guest bathroom toilet so it stopped running, and they turned on the deck faucet which had been shut off for the entire seven months we've lived here. If you read my first review for the 9/11/13 work Kenny and Matthew did, you will know how pleased I am with them. Compared to others we have experienced here in Sedona, Kenny and Matthew are both professional, knowledgeable, reliable, fair, honest, well mannered gentlemen. Kenny is the only person we have found who reliably answers his phone, returns calls and emails, shows up on the day he says he will, has expertise, and is fair and honest.
