Recent Review: It was a good company, they gave me a good quote but I decided to go with a different company. They quoted me about $4500. They showed up on time. They explained every possibility and they had examples of work they had done in the past.
Recent Review: Kathy N, the engineer/construction supervisor and her wonderful team helped us understand options for wall movements, door placements and changes necessary in structural adjustments. Kathy L the designer was very patient as she walked us through options of style (Mediterranean, traditional, modern, etc.) and small design issues (faux painting, appliance matching, cabinet wood and pulls, etc). Work included moving one wall and changing one entry door into the kitchen area. cabinets were all designed from scratch with an excellent functional work area that flows well today after 4 years. The two types and color of granite are perfect compliments and add so much to the kitchen look and functionality. We found all the workmen to be conscientious, skilled and open to questions and ideas. What few little things went not according to plan i.e. termites found on removal of old cabinets or hole punctured in adjoining bathroom wall, were all dealt with quickly and efficiently by Nick, the onsite foreman. Not only were they top notch in all ways, but we brought them back a year later to do a backyard outdoor kitchen, again with the same level of expertise. Perhaps the best example of ultimate service occurred 2 years after completing the back yard BBQ/outdoor kitchen, when a piece of the slate behind the BBQ collapsed in after a heavy rain storm. Nick was on the spot within a short period of time and not only had it repaired and reinforced, but had his crew completely rebuff the entire slate area even fixing some chips we had put in it. What a surprise to come home and find them rebuffing and resealing the slate. Over all a pleasant experience remodeling (I used to think that was an oxymoron) with an excellent team, dedicated professionals at about the same price or slightly higher than other bids we had but so much more value than we anticipated.
Recent Review: We were very pleased with them. We found that they were very professional. The quality of the work was outstanding. They were very courteous. We were actually very pleased with them listening to what we wanted, coming up with alternatives, and helping us figure out what we needed to do. They were just really great. We had a very great experience with them. The price was not the absolute cheapest but was worth every penny. They were also highly responsive.
Recent Review: I am not the easiest person to work with and am very picky. I told Don what I wanted (and changed my mind many times) and he worked patiently with me. They came out exactly as I wanted! I am very happy with the quality and workmanship! I have received many compliments with our new kitchen remodel!! We are thinking about adding a wine cabinet, and will be calling Don to do the job.

Recent Review: We contracted with Sierra Remodeling for a bathroom remodel. Our main contact was with Mr. Scott Miller. He came to our home in Wilcox and discussed the project and approximately a week later we met at his office to review the site plan. We looked over colors, styles, and accessories. All through this phase of the project, Scott, was very attentive to our thoughts, made good suggestions and made sure loose ends were tide down. He scheduled a start date and worked with us when we needed to reschedule due to an appointment. The crew was on-time and made every effort to keep our home as undisturbed as possible. The lead man during the initial clearing out of existing fixtures and installion of shower pan, shower inclosure, and and patch up was Matt, as it was badly needed. Matt was very knowledgeable and helpful. He is also professional and a very hard worker. When Matt finished with the inital shower instialltion, the shower door and new sink installtion was begun. The shower door installation went very smoothly and the new cabinet and sink units as planned did not work out so a new unit was orderd and installed. The room required wall painting and patching, which was done by Adam, who did a great job. The sink and cabinet installation along with the shower fixtures and floor tile was installed by Jack, a real craftsman. The project was completed and is beautiful. We highly recommended Sierra Remodeling for your remodeling needs.

All the designing met our needs and requests. Workers were very talented, precise, never left a mess, and we always could use the spaces overnight rather than having to eat out or do without a bathroom. Workers were open to our suggestions. All of the work met and exceeded our hopes and expectations. Scott was amazing in his ability to understand and design exactly what we were describing. All materials worked together well. We love our new kitchen and bathrooms.

ATravis Construction Services
My parents had recently purchased a home in Show Low AZ and called me expressing their frustration that they had a large garden tub in their master bathroom and that it was difficult/hazardous for them to get in/out...they wanted the tub out and a shower in. I recommended using a contractor and found Travis through Angie's List. I had not seen this house as I live in CA and had not yet been able to visit AZ. I contacted Travis and he met my parents and conducted a job walk. Travis called me to discuss and I explained I was working blind and was dependent on him to provide the details; I also explained that he could meet with some difficulty as my dad is a mechanical engineer and and quot;knows everythingand quot;; every time my phone rang I was afraid Travis was going to tell me he'd had enough. I was grateful that Travis stayed in contact with me through the planning stage as this was when my dad was at his most difficult. I traveled to AZ prior to construction start and took my mom shopping to settle the final details before the project began. The next day I met Travis and the plumber and everything looked good to go; Travis was glad to hear that we had the shower stall, paint, and flooring so that the project could move forward without delay. Before I left, the contract was signed! The remodel included: - Remove interior bathroom wall - Remove wall between sink and toilet/tub area (ended up being a pony wall) - Remove 24and quot; door and doorway leading to toilet/tub area - Remove garden tub - Move/adjust plumbing to accommodate shower vs tub - Install a pre-fab shower - Build interior bed/bathroom wall one foot into the bedroom with zero negative impact to bedroom space - Install new ADA-compliant bathroom door - Replace flooring - Paint area It was evident early-on in my conversations with Travis that he was truly concerned about my parents and that the finished product needed to accommodate them as they age. In the end, I think it was his overall concern for their well-being that he stayed on the job because he could have quit at any time due to the resistance he met from my dad who wanted the job done and quot;hisand quot; way. In the end, Travis' patience with an elderly couple ended in a complete renovation of the master bath...and all is well in Show Low. I will be visiitng again soon and will be able to see the work for myself as I've only seen pictures taken during construction. The pics I've seen were not of the finished product but I could see the massive changes and it looks awesome! So much more space in the bathroom without sacrificing bedroom space and no more skinny 24and quot; door to squeeze through...really opened up the space making access easier for emergency responders. My parents assessment: - Both Travis and his assistant, Cheryl, cleaned the work area and surrounds every time they worked - Even though Travis had other on-going jobs, he was on time, accomplished his goals each time and kept us apprised of how the job was going and what was next - Very receptive to our ideas and input in both the planning and work stages - Travis is gracious when he rejects ideas as he explains how something is supposed to work vs how you think it should work - Travis was pleased that the bathroom had no negative effect on the bedroom although the bathroom had increased in size My opinion is that you would be truly blessed to have Travis as your contractor.

He replaced the walls and showers and lifted the floor but wasn't able to level it. He was supposed to build the floor up a little bit but he did a good job of things other than that. He was better at the bigger project but the minor details didn't go as well as I would like.

Everything went well. We worked together as the project moved along and we saw changes to be made. The plumber and the electrician both found problems left behind by the builder and fixed them. We created not just bathrooms but visual statements. Trying to work with colors is always a chore but we made trips to the business and Scott made trips here to be sure everything would go together. Vanities were custom-designed to add much-needed storage that vanities don't typically have. Skilled workers completed various phases of the project. They were each very nice, answered questions, and asked for our input along the way. At all times we had one functioning bathroom. The project took a bit longer than expected, however, everything was done before the holidays except a couple of small items that were finished on January 2. Although stressful at times because the unexpected popped up, we would call upon Scott who never disappointed because he made things happen. We would work with Sierra Remodeling again and recommend them highly for their knowledgeable, friendly personnel who pay attention to details and respect the homeowners. Although the price may seem a bit high -- we once again have quality work and materials -- exactly what we wanted and the rooms are beautiful. Thanks to all for the miracles they performed!

They remodeled one big house for us about 8 years ago and then in this house they did a very unique thing. They moved the front of the house out 2 feet, completely changed the master bedroom because we have so many grandchildren. It was one big suite and they made that into two bedrooms and it flows well. They remodeled the kitchen, put in a whole set of cabinets and one kitchen wall like a pantry and then added a big credenza type of thing in the dining area. They also put in a big china cabinet with storage and doors underneath in the dining area. They also took out the entire popcorn ceiling and sanded down beams. We have three different kinds of heating now, a wood stove that heats the whole house, an electric baseboard, and a gas path on the roof. They did that and subcontracted the heating and cooling and were done by a company, which we don't use anymore. They subcontracted the roof and everything has just been fine. We refer them to all our friends.

Most of the service was great, but, when we got to the end, the final worker left some painting and electrical unfinished. I called DC to let them know. They came out and looked at what needed to be done, agreed that it was less than professional to have left it, and promised to return to complete the job. I have never seen them since.

The Dwell Well owner, Greg, and his people were all very helpful and willing to offer advice on the many choices needed for our kitchen remodel. They were able to bring in installers, tile, plumbing and electricians in a timely manner. All work was completed without problems. The only correction needed was the microwave height which they fixed without issue. Greg uses a budget model for pricing. He estimates the cost of each task and then bills according to actual cost. We were very pleased to see the bills at or lower than the estimates. Greg also has a designer who has great experience with room remodeling software. The designer worked with us to sketch out the specifications, cabinet choices, sizes and features. Using 3D prints, we were able to clearly envision what the final design would look like. Very helpful. The only downside would be the choice of cabinets. Greg only installs cabinets from one vendor which is Canyon Creek from Oregon. These are good quality cabinets but pricey. .

TERRIBLE! George Barrera Construction is worst Company I've ever experienced. Do not use this company. He never shows up to do any work on time. When does he gets a small amount of poor quality work done, he then asks for more money. He is a slime ball. He constantly lies, and is awful contractor. USER BEWARE, HE WILL CHEAT YOU!

This was a long distance remodel. Which could have been a total nightmare! Instead it was a extremely pleasant experience. From the pre planning stage to the end walk through. Dwell Well Remodeling took a house that needed much TLC and turned it into a beautiful place to come home to. These guys were complete professionals in every aspect. Many times communication can make or break a job. The comunication was awesome. We received emails with pictures almost weekly! Showing the progression of the remodel. We appreciate Greg taking the time to take pics upload them and send them consistently. Seeing what was happening weekly gave relief from a lot of anxiety of the unknown. All of the Greg's team were great! Cleaning up afterwards. Not leaving materials behind. Not disturbing neighbors. Communicating if they were not sure about something. Helping us to get through any bumps in the road. Which there are always unforeseen issues. Greg and his project manager were always asscessable by phone, text or email. The work that was done to our home was exceptional! I am really happy with our kitchen remodel! These guys were there when they said they would be. Kept to the time period established. Were up front and honest about everything. They put a lot of thought and effort into working out problems. We just could go on and on! This is a exceptional group of people that seem to work excellent as a team. We would highly recommend Dwell Well Remodeling and if they can't do it they are a good resource for others in the area. There is so much more we could say but. Mostly , I would like to Thank Greg and his Team for improving our home and enriching our lives! What a pleasure to work with you all!
