Business Description: With the multitude of construction and contracting companies in the Valley, you may be asking yourself, “Why should I use Rictor Contracting?” It all starts with our dedication to customer service.
You get much more than just a completed project when you hire Rictor Contracting for of all your home improvements and repairs. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality products along with customer service that has no equal. There are many advantages to working with us, from what you see to what you don’t.
Rictor Contracting works hard to meet our customers’ needs. We can handle as much or as little of any project that you wish to undertake. From drafting the plans to delivering a finished remodel, or just replacing some shingles on your roof, whatever you hire us to do will be done professionally and expediently.
Jeff, the owner of Rictor Contracting, has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry here in the Valley. That provides our customers with practical knowledge about the construction of their home or place of business that most remodeling jobs could really use but few ever get; couple that with Jeff’s commitment to 100% customer satisfaction, and you can see why we have so many smiling customers out there—and we are adding more every day.
Rictor Contracting also carries a $1 million liability policy and workers’ compensation insurance for our employees. This is so important because it protects both our clients and our employees. Responsibility is important when work is being done on your home. When we are working on your house, we take 100% responsibility for everything that happens while we are there—yes, EVERYTHING.
We also guarantee our prices. That means you will not have to worry about your project costing more than we quoted you. This is because we have already figured into our price everything it will take to complete your job the way you imagined it. Some contractors will give their customers a low price at first to get the job then add lots of extras on in the end, but that’s not how we do it here. Our price will already include everything necessary to complete your project to your satisfaction. Money is not an issue when you deal with Rictor Contracting. We don’t intend to be the lowest price, but we do guarantee that you will get the most for your money when you hire us.
We look forward to working with you and providing you excellent service and quality, along with unmatched integrity. That’s what we expect from ourselves—and we would provide nothing less to our customers.

He's a great guy. He does what he says he's going to do. He works hard to save you money. He does quality work. He also gives good estimates on jobs. He is doing ongoing work for us. Currently, he's doing a patio.

Steve and his partner did an outstanding job repairing and replacing about 15 feet of soffit hit by a falling tree. This included rebuilding the underlying wood soffit, applying new foam and elastomeric coating to the roof, and final painting. Was very punctual, professional, pleasant to work with and cleaned up each day. Also replaced a couple of damaged roof tiles in another part of the house. Price was extremely fair.

Chris did a great job installing this door. This particular storm door we had installed took a bit of prep work before install because of our door frame. He had to do some carpentry to make sure the frame could support the heavy storm door. Also, the added security feature of two extra locks added to the work/prep to the frame. Once the door was installed, Chris chalked and touched up the paint on the door.

We had a storm that ripped off some ties that was two years ago. They are not local. There were probably 100 roofing companies from all over the country that came in because so many roofs were damaged here. The underside of the roof collapsed. That was not a storm leak. It was a water leak. I would use them again.

2 roof tiles fell off during a rain storm. Called Handyman Connection and they sent David. I had extra tile and he installed them and gave me advice on the remaining tiles.

The woman who comes out is great. She is always on time and always courteous. She is willing to go beyond and go the mile and she does really good work. Her work is great. The storm door was a little difficult to put in but she and the guy that she worked with stayed with it until it was done. It came out really good and it looked really good. The service was done around January or February of this year because we had to wait for the screen door to come in. She charges per hour and she told me upfront what the price would be and I told her what I needed. She actually wrote out what her hourly amount was and how many hours of labor she thought it would be. She gave me an estimate and I accepted it and it came in lower than that because it did not take as many hours. My experience with her has always been great and her pricing is actually a little bit lower than some of the handy people that I have dealt with. I have never had anything but great quality with her. She is usually a little bit late but for me, it does not matter because I am home all day but for other people that are taking their time out to meet her and get her going, it would matter. She is also very professional. I have used her before and I would use her again in the future.

It was fine. I called them and they couldn't do much about it. A couple of months after the fact, it was a fence that came down with the storm, we found out that the post wasn't in deep enough. We ended up having to do the work ourselves and had to dig the post-hole deeper.

Chris had his guys replace the fence for us. They did a great job. The fence is beautiful. It only took them about 2/3 of one day because they already had the fence sections built and brought them along. Really smart thinking. This is the 2nd opportunity I've had to work with Chris. He has done lots of work around the house for us. We are definitely happy with him.
