Recent Review: We had them replace our rear deck about a year ago, did a great job. Posted a review here on that job. They did some external wood trim on the upper patio to tie things together. They pressured washed both decks. The new rear deck is a single level. The front deck has three levels. Were very clean during the pressure washing and ensured that no mess was left behind after. They stained the rear deck and made sure that everything was covered and sealed completely before starting. After they sprayed everything was cleaned very well. They spent a lot of time making sure that the siding on house was clean and free from any stain. After they painted the front after prepping the area completely. Gave the deck two coats of solid color stain. Gave the top deck a third coat because they were not happy with just two coats. Cleaned everything up and left nothing behind. Overall great job again by them and are planning on having them remodel our bathroom shortly.

ARenew Crew of Northwest Arkansas
Our deck, while in good shape, was looking much worse for the wear with peeling paint and exposed wood that was at risk of rotting.  Renew Crew took the time to do the job correctly employing pressure washing, stripping, and even hand sanding to bring our deck back to its original glory.

This is our 4th time using Certapro and we wont use anyone else on our property. Our estimator Charlie was fantastic to work with and AJ that came to our house to do the work was as professional as anyone I've ever worked with before, they treat our home as if it were their own. They strive to be clean, professional, quiet and quick. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Roy Covert

DArkansas Land and Ranch Services
Before hiring Anthony, my husband told him we were in a pinch trying to get our house up for sale and he said he would have the job done in "3-4 days" by "bringing out a crew" and working full time on it. Two weeks later the job still wasn't finished and Anthony blamed us, saying that if he had bid the job higher, he would be spending more time on it. He had given us a bid and we had accepted--at no point had we done anything at all to manipulate him into quoting a lower price. All attempted discussions on getting the job done in the timely fashion he had initially promised were met with excuses and a generally slippery conversational style on his part.  Specifics of his work: Applying semi-transparent stain to decks and stairs: very good job.  Second coat of paint to exterior windows: very good job. We only saw this particular worker one day. Sanding of the mildewed window frame: very good job. We only saw this particular worker one day. Filling two squirrel-size-entry-way exterior foundation holes: Concrete dribbles were left all over our driveway and our natural stone walkway from the concrete job. They left what seemed like a huge glob of concrete outside the holes as though they had mixed too much and wanted to use it. One of the globs is the size of a very small watermelon. The mailbox was installed well, and the numbers put on in the correct sequence on both sides of the mailbox, as requested by us. Exterior door staining: Were done by different workers--one is excellent.  The other has several dribbles, as well as a long dribble on the glass that was left for us to remove. The worker who stained the front door we only saw one day. Interior wall paint job: unsatisfactory. Anthony did this job himself. One long strip of painter's tape had been applied at an angle, rather than straight, with a foot or so of it being at least 3/8 inch away from the surface to be protected, so now part of the natural wood door frame is painted. He left paint dribbles down the wall, which of course dried into lumps. At one point near the closet door frame, his brush slipped, for I saw a streak of paint going over the blue painter's tape and then onto the natural wood door frame. One can easily wipe off such paint accidents with a rag; he didn't bother. The ceiling / wall cut is probably better than I could have done, but is amateurish when compared with the quality of other rooms in our house that were painted by handymen.   The dry wall cracks probably would have been repaired well, except for the fact we let Anthony go (after many talks about the time he was spending on the job as compared with his promise he made in order to get the job) so that we could hire somebody who got the job finished in a timely fashion. Each day after Anthony would work for us, we would pick up a few cigarette butts on the driveway and grounds--nobody we know smokes cigarettes. Perhaps it's nit-picking on my part, but I question his stated green principles based on two things. The first is that he dropped his butts on the ground and driveway. The second is the fact that he and / or his worker left plastic water bottles in our trash can, rather saving then for recycling, or at least asking us if we recycle before they dropped them in the trash.

Good work at a good price.  Vargas is very busy with multiple jobs and there were a few times work got rescheduled or he came at a slightly different time, plus we had some delays due to weeks of rain, but we were able to get the work done.  We did have one section of wood siding replaced a second time after we weren't happy with the initial work.  Vargas gave the best price, was frank about what needed to be done, returned our calls and was very pleasant and professional.  We felt comfortable having him stop by and do some work when we weren't home.

I have received multiple compliments on the appearance of the roof, trim , and house. The worked was performed as they promised and then some. They were careful about not destroying or damaging landscaping. They left the worksite clean and in good appearance each day. The business owner and his associates visited the worksite daily and supervised the crews. If I mentioned anything that needed special attention it was taken care of immediately. They saw little things that needed to be repaired during their work that we did not initially anticipate, they fixed these at no cost.

APruitt Built Outdoor Living Spaces and Design
My wife and I met with numerous builders regarding our project. The initial meeting always went well, but there was rarely any follow up after the initial consultation. The estimates that we did receive were always over the communicated budget. We also asked each builder for input / advice on the design and none of them offered any suggestions except for Tracy, from Pruitt Built. Tracy came to our home, listened to our ideas, and provided plenty of feedback. He spent over 2 hours with us discussing plans and scoping out the layout of our backyard. The follow-up meeting included a walkthrough of his design and a detailed hand drawn blueprint. To our surprise, his estimate landed under our planned budget. Once we agreed to move forward, the process went very smoothly. Tracy was very courteous and professional. He showed up every day and was always willing to discuss any concerns or changes that came up. The project was estimated to take 4 weeks, but was finished in 3. The finished deck is beautiful. Everyone that has visited our home has been very impressed with the quality and attention to detail that went into it. It’s hard to find contractors that stand behind their product like Tracy Pruitt from Pruitt Built Outdoor Living Spaces. I highly recommend him for your next outdoor project.

APruitt Built Outdoor Living Spaces and Design
We had tried several contractors prior to Tracy Pruitt at Pruitt Built Outdoor Living Spaces and Design, but we learned quickly many claim they are reliable and that they do good work when they do not. Because contractors would make commitments and then not show up, or show up and then get mad if we ask a question, we had just about given up on a deck. We felt like we had a right to know what we would be getting since it was our money. If someone was building a deck free, then I could see them getting "bent out of shape" if we ask questions about how they were going to build it, but we were paying and felt we had a right to ask questions about how they would build it. When we called Pruitt Built Outdoor Living Spaces and Design, Tracy came over to see what we wanted. He worked up a quote and showed us a deck he had built that was similar to what we wanted. We hired him, ordered the list of materials he needed, and a day or so after the materials were delivered, he started working. A few days later we were standing on our deck. We were a bit leery to use him because he was not licensed or bonded, but we are thrilled that we did because I do not believe there is a contractor anywhere who would have pleased us more. We are more than happy with his work. He takes so much pride in his work. Considering the money thrown away on other contractors, we could not afford much, but Tracy built what we ask him to build. He built it in a timely manner and took much pride in his work. He not only cares about his work, he cares about his customers as well. If you need a deck, we highly recommend Tracy Pruitt. We, of course, cannot say our deck has lasted years because he just did it, but we will post an update about every six months. Tracy guarantees his work, and thus far he has did everything he promised, so I feel sure, should a problem arise within the warranty period, he would gladly take care of the matter. But...as it stands right now, we are happy campers. The cost for decks is just high, no matter who builds it. Tracy is not any higher than his competitors, and his work outshines any we have seen.
