Recent Review: We ordered the shelter and paid a $300 deposit. Installation was scheduled for 14 March. On 14 March we were called and told that the installation was delayed for a day. The next day there was no call and no installation. We called and were told that there were water issues delaying previous installations. This pattern continued (no installation and no call) until I finally went to the store and said that I expected the installation to occur by the 21st or I wanted a refund. They showed up on the 21st and cancelled the contract and refunded my money. I was very disappointed with the lack of meeting commitments and the very poor communication throughout the process. I was pleased that the contract termination was fair.
Recent Review: They go through the garage floor and put it underground. They were very clean and punctual. They were very professional and power washed everything before and after. It was perfect. We have recommended them and would definitely use them again.

Discussed prices and differences in storm shelters with Gina. She was very helpful and knowledgeable, very pleasant. The crew that was going to install called to say they would come early and asked if that would be Ok. Very nice and after install cleaned the inside of shelter from all the did tracked in.

AThe Maintenance Co
They have done anything from putting a new roof on my house to replacing pipes. We found out that the house was built with the wrong piping and we had to tear out 2 floors of indoor plumbing to replaces all the pipes. They were very clean and through. They have replaced the garbage disposal for me, fixed a leak, just a little of everything. They started the job of replacing the roof due to hail damage and it started to rain. They came right out even though it was a weekend and covered the roof so that it wouldn't leak during the storm.

AD S B Dependable Sensible Builders
I have hired Dan to do many projects for me as I live in a very old house that was empty for a long time. She needs lots of love and Dan and his wife Cheryl have help me give her the attention needed, the last thing he has done was added extra support beams to all the floors. My furniture and appliances would shake when someone would walk through the room. I do not have that problem any more. The house is very tight and I am very happy. Dan and Cheryl have also built my greenhouse, replaced all storm windows, sealed off my chimney, made a leaf for my table and put up my fence. Come the New Year he will be remodeling my bathroom. We are doing it in the New Year per my request. He has helped me pick out my items for the bathroom (meant with me at Home Depot) and he always explains what has to be done in very good detail. I will only use Dan and Cheryl- they are just great

We had severe hail damage on our trailer from a storm that had come through. They received money from my insurance company to perform these repairs. From the start It was a mess. I had a hard time getting them to do the work I hired them for. They did not show up on the days he was suppose to. He made several excuses on why he was not there. When he finally showed up he had no materials for the projects. We decided to not use his services but are out the money we gave him for the materials.

CA&A Remodeling Inc
A&A did remove materials and installed some new walls, ceilings and some flooring. They gave an estimate for the entire job and an approximate time line for job completion. The cost estimate covered 1/2 or less of the remodel cost and the time for completion would have been at least 2 times longer than estimated. A&A did not provide crews for work, but one person did most of the actual labor. They did have a Sheetrock finishing crew that did some work, but not all the Sheetrock finishing. After 5 months the job was 1/2 done and there was not 1 room in the house that was completed. Every room was started (at some level of dismantling), but nothing was completed. We lived 2 hours away and could not monitor hours worked or days worked and the last 2 months A&A worked for us, we believe their schedule was very erratic as far as far as working to complete our job. The floor tile work was done well. The construction of a safe room was well done. There may have been problems that caused a delay in completion, but we were never told or consulted about the discrepancy in the time estimates. We did modify some of the details of the remodel and understood that the additions would add to the cost, but not double the cost. Another company was hired to complete the job.

They began by a demo crew coming in to remove all unusable parts of the house. Then they began the process of rebuilding. I wanted to rebuild my house so it would meet my standards in the event that I live there again. I also wanted it to be environmentally friendly. I re-floored only the living room area with carpet because of a structural feature. The rest of the house is floored with an earth-tone vinyl from Floorcraft. It is beautiful, hypoallergenic, and easy to care for. Bruin Enterprises took care of everything for me. I would not do anything differently. The house now has a clean, bright, beautiful, neutral appearance; contains all new appliances; has all led or florescent lighting; and is essentially new. From beginning to end, Bruin Enterprises personnel were a delight to work with. I would trust them to do any job for me at a reasonable price.

FDutton Matter Construction
On April 15, 2009 I drew up a written contract with Dutton Matter Construction. Terry Dutton insisted on 1/2 of the money $2500.00 given to him so he could purchase supplies to repair my deck and overhang that was destroyed in a Feb 2009 ice storm. He and a helper brought some lumber to the site and the helper started the project. On April 23, 2009 Terry came and asked for another $1700.00 "so he could pay the help". When I protested he got angry. I ended up giving him the money. From that day on there was very little work done and what was done was of a very poor quality. I began to doubt whether either of these two guys had the amount of experience they bragged about. Terry gave me every excuse as to why he was not here working on my repair project, "I'm sick, it is supposed to rain, I have to go to Florida". Then he just would not answer my phone calls. The last day any work was done by Dutton Matter was on April 28th,2009. I never did see Terry Dutton do any construction work. He hauled lumber etc. but never did any construction work. After a month went by and still no co-operation from either Terry Dutton or his worker I started a small claims court proceeding. The sheriff served the papers and Terry Dutton did not show up for the court date. I won the case but since he does not own anything or have a bank account, there is no way to collect my money. This man is a con and a thief.
