Recent Review: Beautiful product, good prices. Only issue was a delay in shipping of several weeks due to inventory. This delay caused issues with scheduling on a whole-house renovation and it would have been quite useful to know about upfront, rather than having to call them repeatedly for updates. When the flooring finally arrived, weeks late, it was beautiful and in very good shape. I would use them again, but I would order much earlier than needed to allow for any delays.

Recent Review: I bought a house that had 7-year-old carpet throughout, and I hated it. I decided to replace all the carpet with laminate flooring. At the time, I didn't know much about it, so I started doing some research and shopping around for the right flooring. One of my co-workers recommended Crazy Dave's. He'd replaced all the flooring in his house (some carpet, some laminate) and had gotten all of his flooring at Crazy Dave's. So, I stopped by one morning to talk to them. They arranged for someone to come out to the new house and take measurements, and when I went back to look at what they had available, I found an absolutely beautiful floor (Wild Pecan from KronoSwiss) that I fell absolutely in love with. It was, however, a bit above what I wanted to pay, especially since I was going to be doing, in total, around 1300 sq ft! Well, they took that into consideration, and gave me a deal on the price. I got the flooring and the underlayment for less than $2/sq ft! I had been planning to buy it all at once, with some money I'd saved up, but I hadn't saved up quite that much. I just bought enough to do the living room so I could have that done before we moved in. A couple of months later, when I got my income tax refund, I went back to get the rest. Even though it had been a couple of months since I'd bought the first load and the cost of the flooring had gone up, they stuck to the original deal. They do have installers, but didn't push installation service on me. In fact, they recommended that I try to install it msyelf, since the cost of installation would double the cost of the flooring. I'd never done anything even remotely like that before, but they explained how to do it and what basic tools I would need. And whenever I had a question while I was doing that first room, they were there and ready to answer them. When I came in the second time to pick up the rest of my flooring, I proudly showed them the pictures I'd taken of the living room when I finished it up, and they were more than happy to look at them and tell me it looked as good as I thought it did. They are friendly, customer-oriented, and have excellent products! The new house is a doublewide, and laminate flooring can end up sounding hollow, but the underlayment they sold me deadens sound nicely. There is no hollow sound to the floor at all! And even with six dogs running, scrambling, and skidding across the floor, there are no scuffs or scratches. In fact, the only scuffs or scratches at all are ones that I made during the installation, and are impossible to see if you don't know they're there. The moral of the story? Great quality flooring from a great company. They won't push things on you that you don't need. They'll answer any questions you have. And, if you have materials left over when you finish the job, they'll buy them back! I have recommended them to friends myself, and will again. And when I get ready to replace the flooring in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms, I'll be going back to Crazy Dave's!

Recent Review: Couldn't be happier with the quality of the work. This provider was able to do carpentry work, unhook and re-hook major appliances, remove old flooring, move furniture, deliver materials, make necessary repairs, and did a fantastic job installing the new tile. It was done reasonably, quickly, and efficiently. He even cleaned up when the job was done--a definite plus! Highly recommend this person for expert work with any type tile and flooring, and basic remodeling work.

They were terrible. They made a mess on my floor. The workers made a mess around the house. They were slow. We had them came back to redo it. They were unprofessional. They did not give a discount for disabled kids. He got a disabled son , got a big advertising company but he did not even do that. I would not advise anybody else to use them.

They put the flooring in my home in July of 2011. They charged around $7000 and I thought the quote was reasonable. It was a job well done.

FBest Floors
The floors kept popping up after the installation. I was told it was due to fact that they installed them on cement without leveling the floor. They came out numerous times to make repairs, once the warranty ran out they would no longer assist me. They kept putting holes in my floor and using glue but it never stayed or adhered. I don't want to have anything else to do with them. The floors should of been taken up and reinstalled correctly.

Nick was always on time, did what he said he would do, did it within the timeframe stated and the workmanship was great. This was not a large bathroom remodel, Nick treated us as if we were his biggest customers

FLOWE'S
I had the initial feeling to not proceed with the job, as it took about a week to even get the estimate from the installer to the store. Decided to proceed with job as we like Lowe's and like the tile we picked out. Work began on 7/31/12 with the installer arriving about two hours later than promised. Upon contacting the Installed Sales Coordinator, Kathy, she stated that installers were not supposed to give out arrival times. Work began that day with the installer arrive late each day and leaving for extended lengths of time each day, sometimes over two hours. Installer stated that job would take one week, but because of the amount of time he spent outside of the job, it extended into the following week. Installer was generally neat and tidy, cleaning up after himself each day with exception to the day he left nail-filled trim work in the middle of the floor. Additionally, when he was on site, he was fast with his work. The problem was that he was so sporadic with his work time. Upon completion of the job on 8/6/12 I came home after he completed the work. I noticed that by the front door area, the T-molding was gapping in one area by the wall. When inspecting this I noticed that there was about a 4x5 foot section of waterlogged wood floor next to the tiled area. This water issue was highly noticeable as placing even my hand on it created a and quot;squishingand quot; sound. The installer should have noticed this. The water damage was caused because the installer decided not to use tools and elbow grease to get up the glued-down floor, but decided to negligently LET WATER SOAK ON THE FLOOR in order to make removal easier. Possibly a good solution for a whole floor replacement, but not a good solution for a partial replacement. The water apparently leaked over and got under floor that should not be removed. Upon further inspection I noticed a few additional items 1) not all of the trim work was reinstalled in the kitchen, 2) part of a cabinet side was pushed in from removing trim work, 3) the installer did not place enough tile in one corner and created a large grouted area, 4) DID NOT GROUT UNDER THE DISHWASHER so now I have a good 1 to 2 inch gap of non-grouted area by my dishwasher, and 5) did not clean up the leftover grout and told us to mop with vinegar after a day or so. I reported the issues to the Installed Sales Coordinator the next day, as she was gone when I called that night. She at first could not believe that the floor was water damaged and questioned that the installer even did it. Even after her admitting that the floor was damaged by the installer, it took three months for an insurance claim to be started by him with his insurer. I've had the other Lowe's flooring contractor out, who has stated that the floor cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced. Lowe's on both 10/9/12 and 11/9/12 promised that they would replace the flooring and even had me come in to pick it out. They even ordered the flooring and reserved it at the top of the storage bay for the replacement job. Now, 4 months later the store is backing out of their promise to replace the floor, citing that and quot;hourly associates don't have the authorityand quot; to work with customers to fix issues like this. In all, I'm over 4 months out from a tile job with Lowe's that not only WASN'T finished to quality expectations, but also had personal property damaged as well. I've contacted Customer Care, who insists that I work with the store to come up with a solution. I've worked with a floor sales associate, an Installed Sales Coordinator, a fill-in Installed Sales Coordinator, and 2 store managers, all to no avail. I'm not sure what my next steps are, but I can assure you that it won't include future purchases from Lowes. I do not recommend purchasing any installed job from Lowe’s as they do not stand behind their work, have negligant installers, and have management issues related to the overseeing their Installed Sales department.
