918 Construction
Recent Review: We used '918 Construction' before to do some minor roof repair ($99 special) and they did a great job. We lost 3 large shade trees during he last big ice storm. The trees kept the direct summer sun off of the roof for most of the day. Without the shade, the attic air got a lot hotter and because of inadequate ventilation, we had hot, smelly 'attic air' making its way inside the house. I called '918 Construction' and they came out and installed 5 additional roof vents to improve the attic ventilation. Their installer was very courteous and explained what he was going to do before starting. The new roof vents were installed in about an hour and there is a very noticeable improvement. Everybody likes to have 'go to' companies that they can rely on to do good work for a fair price. I have added '918 Construction' to my 'go to' list.

Recent Review: I am satisfied with them. I was originally looking for metal roofing and they are one of the few people who do that for residential buildings, so I went with them. I think that their clean up was excellent. Their work was professional. Their follow-up was a little bit weak but overall I was satisfied with their work. I would definitely recommend them to others.

J & J Builders
Recent Review: J and J Builders came and gave us a free estimate. They were punctual everyday, cleaning up all debris after themselves. They did a good job at estimate price and did not go over. Their work was quality work at a reasonable price. We would highly recommend J and J Builders for any handyman, remodeling, flooring and roofing work that you would need done. We plan to use them in the near future to remodel our kitchen and put down flooring and trim.

Douglas Metal
Recent Review: From the very beginning the roof leaked over the porch. Two times Douglas Metals sent workers out to my home to try to correct the problem. To no avail the roof still leaks. With-out ever coming out to the property, the operator of the company has suggested that the leak is a chimney issue. This claim makes no sense to me in that, foremost I don't believe the leak is related to the chimney, plus the chimney was installed prior to the installation of the roof. Douglas Metals didn't ask to rectify or address any issues on the chimney before they installed the roof. The bottom line is that the roof leaks putting the structural integrity of the at risk. It's not good for the plywood sub-roof to continually get wet every time it rains. It is beyond my comprehension why Douglas Metals chooses not to resolve this issue.

Cowboy's Metal Roofing
Recent Review: I was concerned when I came home from work after the first day because there was still a dip in the back of the roof (Mr Iberg had previously said he would smooth that all out). The overall appearance of the first days work was a mess and concerning. I wrote a list of things I was concerned about and left that with the tools that had been left outside all around the house. On Friday the crew returned and saw my list and continued their work (it was extremely hot and I had told them it was fine with me if they came back when it cooled off - they said they had to make a living). I brought a coworker with me on Friday afternoon from my work so he could see my roof and we were concerned with the overall appearance but especially that the "trim" was extended out in the air past old shingles that had not been removed from the house. Mr. Iberg said they would return to finish and did on Monday 8/16. I had left a list of concerns including the trimming etc .. when I got home from work Tracy Mann was on the roof attempting to "trim" the roofing job - it looked terrible!!!! At that point I knew there was no point in asking them to fix anything else so like an IDIOT I pd. them. I made the check out to Craig Iberg who said "could you do me a favor and make it out to Tracy, we use his bank account". DUH FOR ME AGAIN !!!!! After this crew left, I went outside and took numerous pictures of the trim job- it was AWFUL !! Nothing is even, nothing even attempts to line up or look nice - it is buckled and crunched and bowed in and out and some is attached to the house and some not. I asked them to put end caps on the ridge covers for example ... instead they squished the ends together and tried to hide it behind the pathetic trim work. I immediately called the same home inspector who had originally inspected my house when I purchased it and he came later that evening and took pics from a ladder - the horror was even worse than I expected !! There is exposed wood, big holes in the metal with no screws in it, just hanging around .. supposed to be attached to the house but jutting out or sitting there - even left cigarette butts and trash on the roof which after the rain, is all around my house now ... the pictures are sickening. Truly ... the pictures have made me sick but especially the fact that I paid these clowns $6500.00 to screw up my roof that will have to be redone as soon as I can afford it, whenever that will be. I have contacted the City of Sherwood who said these guys did not have a permit. I have contacted the Contractor's Licensing Board who say they have no license. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau who is investigating right now. These guys are BAD NEWS !!!!! Before you use these guys, contact me and ask for pictures of my roof. It is heartbreaking !!!! HEARTBREAKING ! I have the pictures and the roof to prove it. I have had people come to look at my roof and give me opinions and the one I hear first is "that is the worse roofing job I have ever seen" ... that would be the same opinion as the one from the home inspector. It is a nightmare. I researched C. Iberg and found a lawsuit settled apparently in 2008 where he had attempted to build a house for a woman which resulted in disaster ... apparently he admitted to the judge he "didn't know enough about it" ... well, hindsight is 20/20 ... don't let these guys ruin YOUR house - be forewarned !

COLLINS ROOFING CO
Recent Review: They did a good job and they did it quickly. We had some leaking inside our garage and they recommended someone to come out and do that. The representative of Collins was very upfront and he told us all the details and got all the permissions in the beginning. There were no surprises about the cost later. They did it on time and it wasn't delayed in any way.

Recent Review: Mike and his crew were excellent. They were able to start under short notice (called on Friday, started on Monday). And Mike even called a few times a day while I was at work to let me know how it was progressing and to discuss any issues. He and his crew delivered on every request I had and even anticipated a few others and handled them. After removal, it looks like the house was originally built this way. Great work! Fast and friendly too. I will be keeping Mike's number in my phone book for future projects and will highly recommend him to friends and family.

Recent Review: I will be using them for the second time.  Everyone I have dealt with in the company, from the owner and receptionist down to sales people and the people who worked on the house have been fabulous!  They worked in the cold.  They were so good.  I made chili and hot chocolate for them.  The price included extra work that had to be done.

Reviews in Garner to Install Metal Roof

CIntegrity Home Services
The roof looked really nice until it rained and I noticed three (3) leaks under the metal roof. Contacted David by sending him a picture of the problem. His worker called and advised his sister passed away. This all happened August 2016 and the roof has a 10 year warranty. Tried several times to get the leaks fixed to no prevail. Then received a letter from David's wife that the business went under and David is on Medical Leave. So, I am left with the roof still leaking and who is going to uphold the warranty.
