The agreement was to finish what I had started painting on the 1500 sq ft addition, and be complete in 4-5 days at a cost of $2500. Instead it took him 8 days and $1500 over his estimate. My wife addressed the fact that they hadn't made much progress on day 3 and pack up early since my wife apparently offended him. I later also expressed my concern about the lack of production of his crew. They seemed to take less smoke breaks and were somewhat more productive after this chat. I was not home when he finished the job, but he told my wife if there is anything wrong at all just call and he would fix it right away. I called Thursday to let them know there were some areas missed, he was supposed to correct the discrepancies today, and has yet to show or call. I paid for all the materials, the $4015.00 was labor only. I would absolutely not recommend Bob Garrison or super wonderful painting for any job, period... UPDATE TO PREVIOUS COMMENT: Where do I begin...My husband arranged for Bob and his crew to come back and finish the corrections on 18 May from a job performed earlier in the month (see previous review from my husand), he did not show or call. When we phoned him later in the week after much deliberation as to whether or not to even have him come out, he stated, he meant the 25th of May. Bob offered to come out on on 24 May. I choose to not deal with Bob directly, because he tends to take my critisism of his shotty work as "firing". Then he walks out on the job. So my husband did most of the talking with him. However, I was the one that checked most of the work and the spots Bob asked to be pointed out. As I took him around on this day to fix what I had previously asked him to fix, he quitely came along and agreed to fix it. Not only did Bob and his crew not "see" the problems themselves on a skill they seem to be so familiar with, they did not use drop cloths on my furniture, floors, granite, tub, etc. I spent most of the day today, 27 May, cleaning up his mess and oh let's not forget the trail of paint he left on my newly installed travertine floors in the master bath. This man is FAR from doing a good clean prep prior to completing his work. Finally, I had made it clear the first time they were here that the second bucket of paint they had mixed did not look the same as the other stuff. Against my better judgement, I took their word that it did. So needless to say, there are spots on the wall that do not match. There are also areas on the ceiling that they STILL did not paint! I really can't understand how these professionals in their line of work can miss the big dark spot by the light! Even with all the items still needing to be corrected, I will NOT call these guys back!! I will NOT recommend them to anyone.
