Recent Review: Eddie and his team did a great and very satisfactory job! They had to modify the existing areas to accommodate the appliances as the house was built before such equipment was standard. They cleaned up the area when they were finished. They have done many jobs for me in the past with the same results. I always call Eddie when I need something done, whether it be plumbing, electrical, installation, repairs, etc.

Recent Review: Dick was very prompt.  He arrived within 5 minutes of the appointment each time he came out.  I was having a single oven replaced with a double oven.  He explained how he would have to alter the cabinetry to make the new oven fit and how it would look after installation.  He removed a drawer to make the extra space he needed.  He had a panel made to conceal an opening where the microwave had previously been.  Dick painted the new panel and touched up some other areas.  He was neat and tidy, cleaning up his mess before leaving.  Dick quoted me a price and stuck to it.  He was pleasant and professional.  I would recommend him to my friends if asked.  The installed oven looks great.  I am very pleased.

Recent Review: This was fantastic.  These folks are so professional including all of their workers as well.  And everyone cleaned up after themselves.  When the counter top guys were there and cutting the counter top out in my driveway...when they left it was like you couldn't tell anything had been cut on a electric table saw.   Susan is so great about coming and meeting with you on your time schedule and helping to pick out cabinets, pulls, counter top type and color.  She'll even discuss paint color with you if you ask.  I completely redid my kitchen with new appliances and she specifically asked me the color just to make sure nothing was going to clash with the finish on the cabinets or the counter top. I really can't give these folks high enough praise or scores on this site.  I've had really bad experiences with contractors, handymen and such over the last 25 years of owning the same home, but I have no problem giving these folks my full endorsement.  It might take a few weeks to get the cabinets in, depending on the backlog from the company they order from, but it's worth it.  I did the demo of my kitchen on a Saturday and by Wednesday afternoon I had a kitchen with cabinets and counter tops.  Kitchen Tune Ups doesn't connect stoves, sinks, microwaves or dishwashers, so you'll have to hire someone do get those things completed for you.  However, these cabinets and the professionalism showed by everyone is well worth, not only the money, but any wait you might have from ordering the cabinets.  Once Kitchen Tune Up gets the cabinets and you can arrange for them to come out...they don't take long to get the job completed and to your satisfaction.  They guarentee their work and that's worth something right there, so many people won't or say they do then disappear.  You won't have that problem with this company. They keep their word and came out to fix a door that didn't shut quite right and replaced a cabinet door that had a natural blemish in the wood color that looked, to me, like a black mark or burn on the wood.  Nothing really wrong with the door, and I wouldn't of had it changed except it was on a upper cabinet door that you noticed the first time you walked in the ktichen.  Down lower and it wouldn't have been an issue.  They made the case to the cabinet company and prevailed..they replaced the door in 2 weeks.

I phoned for an estimate for several small jobs. The man arrived promplty & was professional. I was given an estimate for a siding repair & one for installing a microwave. I was told that for the other jobs, they would send a different person out to estimate as they involved more extensive electrical wiring. I then phoned back the next day & chose to have the microwave installed. They arrived as scheduled & completed the job to my satisfaction.

The process was very smooth. He explained the work to be done, any problems that could arise and how they would be addressed.

FHOME DEPOT
I wrote a check in December 05. The work was completed in late August 06 because the "designer" didn't allow for blind corner cabinets, among other things, which caused measurements to be off completely. We had to reorder cabinets at least six times because he kept using the wrong measurements. He never made one trip to my house to see any problem for himself, nor did anyone else from the store until I finally threw a hissy fit and demanded someone come by. He kept blaming the installer for the errors--the installer was the one who was the professional. If it weren't for him, I'd still probably not have a kitchen! He and the subcontractors who did the plumbing and countertops were pros. I'd hire them again in a minute, but I won't ever step foot in a Home Depot again.
