Recent Review: It went very well. This is the second time I've used this service. Jackie is very thorough with his inspections. The report is detailed, punctual, informative, and it is reader friendly. I chose to use him again because no one can match his attention to detail. If I ever need another property inspected, Jackie Sullivan is the man I'll go to.
Recent Review: In the past 40 years we have bought 14 homes. David is the most professional inspector we have dealt with. He was very thorough and spent time with us explaining the issues he had found. He provided us with a very detailed written report in a prompt manner. He took approximately 4 hours to do the inspection. We would highly recommend him.

A home inspection is a visual inspection of the structure and components of a home to find items that are not performing correctly or items that are unsafe. If a problem or a symptom of a problem is found the home inspector will include a description of the problem in a written report and may recommend further evaluation.
Don't skip an inspection just because the house is new. New homes can have defects even though there were just built. A new homebuyer can greatly benefit from using a professional home inspector during the construction and completion of their new home. Most people assume that the contractor and sub-contractors are overseen by state or local government officials and that the local town or city building inspector checks the house out. This is true to some degree, however, few if any municipal inspectors spend anywhere near enough time in the home to fully check it out. Further, there could be problems with the home that are not necessarily code violations, yet have serious consequences for the new home owner.
Recent Review: Inspection took 2.5 hrs and we were present the entire time. Seemed appropriate time for a 4 br, 2.5 house w/attic. Inspector started outside which included him walking the entire roof and checking all structures including deck, soffits, fascia, gutters, chimney, crawl space, etc. He took clear, color pictures of any defects he found. Inspection appeared to be thorough, going from outside to inside, however, an attic access panel in a closet was missed. Also missed was the satellite dish that was mounted in a "valley" inappropriately that needs to be removed and repaired. He said he would not thoroughly inspect the kitchen appliances, which we understood. He did run the dishwasher to check for leaks. After we moved in, we found that the microwave was literally held together by duct tape and definitely did not work properly. This was missed by the inspector. Just finding the duct tape would have been a red flag. He did take the time to answer our numerous questions and provide explanations of his cursory review. His final report was impressive - 35 pages of detail and pictures. The misses, however, were enough to lower our opinion of the overall score. Additional recommendation is to include a moisture gauge which we have seen in other house inspections that would identify any potential leaks behind a wall.
Recent Review: This review is LONG overdue! We were very impressed with our inspection. At the end, Terry walked me through every item of concern (even climbing back up into the attic with me). Over and above the inspection, they really helped us get to know our house. Thanks!!
Recent Review: Louis came to our home only two days after our first contact, and did a full exterior inspection where he pointed out a couple of easy repairs we could make ourselves to keep water from entering the crawlspace. He then entered the crawl space and did a full interior inspection with photos and video. He explained to us that he did not think the problem we had noticed was much to worry about, and that no repairs were needed. He did explain that he found a small amount of mold growth, and recommended that we have that cleaned, and that we have ventilator fans installed to inprove air circulation in the crawlspace which would eliminate future mold growth. My wife and I were amazed. Louis had driven almost an hour and half, spent over an hour doing his inspections, and explaining his findings to us, and then said that his company was not needed to fix the minor problems we have. In my opinion, a completely honest contractor is hard to find, and this is one I would recommend fully without question.

AQualified Inspections Inc
WOW....we were so impressed with the work Donald did! Donald is so thorough, professional and yet easy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of a home. He really focused on safety issues and seemed to truly care that those issues be addressed. It is rare to find someone with so much integrity! Many times we have been disappointed in others we have hired to do various jobs. You will not be disappointed in Qualified Inspections! It was evident that Donald put a lot of time and work into the book he mailed to us after the inspection. It was filled with colored pictures and all the details of the inspection he did plus a lot of other helpful information for homeowners. He even includes a flash drive with all of the home info on it. It was truly amazing! If we could give him higher than an A rating we would.

APillar To Post Home Inspectors
GREAT! TeTerry and LeAnn were punctual, professional, very detailed, accurate, friendly and just an all around joy to work with. This is my second home purchase and I can honestly say I was blown out the park when I seen their report, their attention to detail was amazing 100% better than my first home inspection with a different company. Not only did they provide me with a home inspection portfolio, they sat down and fully explained everything they found. In addition they took me around the property and clarified any questions I had. As if that were not enough they actually advised me of the level of importance for each issue they found and they provided me with a cost estimator for the repairs(this came in handy when I hired a contractor, some gave me outrageous prices, probably thinking I was just an uninformed woman who didn't know any better). Overall I was 100% please and I will definitely be using them again in the future!

This was the second time I have used David to do a home inspection for me. Like the first time David was very thorough and careful with his check of the home. He gladly answered questions and addresses any concerns you have. He is happy to have you follow him around and will explain every step, then review his findings before he leaves. It is kind of odd, but the two times I have used David he discovered the age of the home I was looking at purchasing was misrepresented to me. This time it was and quot;onlyand quot; a 4 year difference. But when I thought I was getting a 6.5 year old home that turned out to be a 10 year old home that needed a new roof within 5 years as well as other costly maintenance coming up shortly, it makes a big difference in what I am willing to pay for the house. He also informed me that the and quot;high efficiency heat pumpand quot; sign wasn't correct, it was a regular electric furnace. During his journey up into the attic David found 7 rafters in a row that had been spliced. He took pictures with his cell phone and showed them to me and the agent. He then highly recommended that I get a builder in there to make sure the job was sound. He told me it wasn't a pretty job, but he would want a expert to make sure it was completely safe. I talked to a roofer about the damage, he told me that rafters most likely have been broken by a tree falling on the house, or a fire.

The inspection went well. The problem (and it is not really a problem) is that the real estate community does not like this inspector because he is honest and thorough and he is Independent . what that means is he solely works for the buyer. He does not work for the realtor. You get the real picture! I am happy with his report and may or may not get the home but would rather know what I am getting with my eyes open.
