Recent Review: As room additions go, this was not a complex job. No plumbing involved. But they did the job efficiently and effectively. All the crews involved were first-rate, especially the framers and sheet-rock guys. Overall, the job took about five months, mostly due to weather conditions. If we had not had to deal with huge amounts of rain, I think we could have gotten it finished in under three months. There were NEVER any of those dreaded moments were the contractor tears up the place and then says "Well, I have to go work on this other job right now, so I will be back in a couple of weeks". He was very responsive when we had concerns/questions. We had access problems and limited space to work with, so things in the yard were a mess and we always had equipment and materials scattered around, but we anticipated this and so it was not much of a hassle. All the crews were very respectful of existing plantings and gardens. After it was all over, they completely cleaned up and re-graded the yard with drainage consideration taken into account. I went over to Garvins and bought some grass seed and scattered it over the barren yard. It has now rooted into a new lawn and there are no visible signs of the construction now. It all looks very organic and unified, and we are loving both the room and the deck. We felt like we were in good hands with Mr. Butler, start to finish. Very high comfort level, recommended without hesitation.
