Recent Review: Everything went great. I got the system a few days later and started to install it. All the devices were easy to put up all told it took about 45 minutes to get up and running. During the install I set the alarm off and Getsafe called me right away. I like the way it looks in my home and by that I mean I hardly notice it is there. I like being able to control the system from my phone and being able to check on my house with the camera when I am away.

Recent Review: Originally talked to them at a home show. They came out and gave estimates as well as suggestions for the system. No pressure, just a good product. i did some shopping and came back to Pinnacle as the best value. System works as advertized. I eventually added a couple of additional sensors like for carbon monoxide. Would recommend them highly.
Recent Review: I personally think this is the best deal out there when it comes to monitoring your home via a security system. If you pay for the whole year it costs about 8.95 a month or 14.95 a month if you pay month by month. There is no contract! The reason they are so cheap is that you buy the monitoring equipment yourself either through them or through another company, and they do the monitoring of it. Most other companies give you some equipment but then you have to pay $40 a month for the next three years or some lengthy contract like that! NextAlarm lets you arm and disarm via the Internet, and provides excellent customer service. I highly recommend it!

In February 2016, just seven months after the purchase and installation, the system failed. We contacted Sir Veillance and were told they no longer dealt with or serviced NightOwl products. When we complained that the salesman/installer assured us the system was top of the line and fully covered by a five year warranty. The company's owner, Brian Webb, offered to sell us a new system at a reduced. When we informed him we wanted the current system to be repaired he told us to call NightOwl and take care of this situation ourselves. To date we have had no satisfaction in this matter.

I felt the work that was planned and the equipment to be provided (which I now own) was worth the price so I signed the agreement for installation to take place the following week. The monthly monitoring is reasonably prices and if you pay a year in advance you get a month free. I was a little disappointed with the installer. I felt he tried to talk me out of hard-wiring the home in exchange for installing wireless equipment, which I would have to replace batteries on each year. I insisted on the hard-wiring (which takes longer) and he proceeded to make the installation without complaint. He had trouble hard-wiring one window so a wireless device was installed after discussing it with me. He cleaned up any mess he made and patched up gaps in the holes with calk, when asked. I've had a little trouble with the keypads not activating/deactivating when I enter my code. I called and they sent a service person out to replace a keypad, but I had to take time off work to get the work done, and then he didn't have a new one in his truck and had to wait for someone to bring him one. Overall I'm happy with the monthly monitoring but disappointed in the installation experience.

The entire process was smooth and impressive. I already liked the company, having met them when my mother was having her home system switched over to them from her existent one. I suddenly needed to leave town for several months, with only one week's notice, and with no time to pack or move anything but myself and my pets. I called Allstate hoping they could somehow secure my home with a system with only one week's notice. They were at my house in one hour from the time I called, and in another hour I had signed up for a plan, and in just one more hour their technician was there installing. By that afternoon I had a security system I understood and could afford and I am very happy with it and with Allstate.

DSimpliSafe Home Security
Hooked up two sensors and they quickly lost connection. One sensor was about 20 ft away from the base and the other was roughly 30 ft away, but neither would hold a signal to the base. The cellphone bluetooth signal also wouldn't stay connected. They gave me a few different suggestions to get a better signal, but I didn't feel those suggestion were necessarily going to address all of my issues. The system didn't give me a good sense of security and I decided to send the system back and request a refund.
