Recent Review: Excellent, although there was a delay in installation from time of estimate due to ordering the liner, and the busy season they were in, the coordination and communication was excellent.  They worked with my tenant to select the style of the liner and coordinated with the tenant and I on time for the install.  The work was done quickly and they ensured the work was done properly.  Really impressed and definitely recommend using them.   I know I will.

Robert's Pools
Recent Review: So far they've been an excellent company to work with. They may be replacing a pool liner in the spring but we are not ready for it yet and they say we are not ready for it yet. We get most of our supplies from them and they have repaired our pump motor and thins like that and they've always been very responsive to us. They have the whole map of our pool and the whole thing so when they come to do anything, they always check. If you ask them about something that your concerned about be it the motor, the pump, the liner, whatever, they always check and if you don't need it, they don't sell it to you. They are a small company.

Gulf Coast Pool & Spa Inc
Recent Review: I was telephoned within a day of asking for an estimate for a new pool liner. We set up an appointment to meet with owner, Bill. They evaluated our pool and after reviewing their estimate, we decided right then to go ahead and contract with them. They helped us pick out the liner, and then I gave them half the cost of the liner as a deposit. They telephoned a week later to schedule a day to drain the pool and installed the liner the next day. They were AMAZING! I have been a realtor in the Navarre, Fl area for 14 years now, and I will recommend Gulf Coast Pool and Spa to anyone who wants to construct a new pool or needs a pool liner...WITHOUT hesitation! I am confident that every customer will receive the same great service and reasonable cost of construction that we enjoyed.

Liner Guys LLC
Recent Review: Had Clay Thompson (Liner Guys) replace a 16x32 vinyl pool liner. The contract signed said "repair pool floor". Not only did he not repair the pool floor, he left the old liner in the pool. I had to hire another pool company to come in and repair the damage caused by Liner Guys and repair what he did not repair (which by contract, he was suppose to do). When I contacted him on it he lied saying he did repair. We had a contractor laying tile flooring and was using the water hose the entire time Clay was there. Not once did Clay use the hose to mix his vermiculite. SIDE NOTE: He has renamed his company to something else however, note the owners name.

Pensacola Pools
Recent Review: Pensacola pools sticks to their word. Even though we never used the liner, Pensacola Pools had no problems whatsoever with the return of my liner. It's nice to have companies who stand by their products and their return policies. Thanks for the transaction -- I will be using you in the future!

Holcomb's Swimming Pools Inc
Recent Review: Our pool maint. guys who come once a week to service the pool recommended Holcomb Swimming Pools for a new pool liner. The owner came out, took the measurements, gave me a call back later, came back and explained the procedure and gave me an estimate. A week later a crew of 3 came by, took a look around, did some prep work, came back the next day and installed the liner. They came back today to finish the job. They were probably some of the best professionals that I’ve seen do home service work. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Recent Review: He did everything we agreed to and more. His helper clean all the weeds from around the pool that my husband wasn't able to get up. He worked solo and I didn't have to worry about anything. It was so great to finally having it fixed the right way, we had it fixed 3 times in the last 3 years for more than we paid this time.

Vaughn's Inc of Pensacola
Recent Review: Where to begin.  I started to replace my pool liner in May-June 2012I originally called this pool company because they were the original builders of the pool in 1995.  I thought they were have all the measurements from the last liner change-out in 2005 (they did not because a different company performed this change) but they did have some of the information from the original build. I talked to both Mr Vaughn the owner, and Mr Vaughn , the owners son.  The younger Vaughn gave me a price to replace the pool liner in the amount of approximately $4600.    I didn't hear from either of the gentleman for 4 weeks, when the elder Vaughn called me to ask if someone could come over to measure the pool and find the "well points".  One of his workers showed up, not on time, to do the measuring.  At that time he looked at my liner and the places that had come away from the walls.  He reattached the liner so that water would not get in between the liner and the walls of the pool.  At that time he showed me my deep end liner area that had come undone.  ****There was no water between the liner and the wall, there was no damage to the walls of the pool, nor the bottom of the pool.******      Several weeks went by, and  again, did not hear from anyone in the company.  When I called, Mr Vaughn would say he did not have my paperwork in front of him and he would call me back later.  He never did.       One day, I have two workers in my backyard, August 2012.  They took down my old liner, took it away, and left. No one came to ask if they could work on the pool, and no one informed me as to what was their plan.  I didn't see anyone again for SIX WEEKS.  During that time my pool was uncovered and subjected to the elements and it has fallen apart and the walls are collasped.  .     Once again, I find two workers, without my permission, working on my pool.  This time they are trying to drain all the water that had collected in the pool.  They plugged in a pump to my house and left it there and NEVER explained what was going on.  I tried to call the owner of the company again.  No reply.    I finally get an phone call telling me that my pool is a mess and it will cost me $9625 to fix the liner and the rest of the damage.  I didn't call them back and I never will!  I didn't have these problems.  The pool company created them.  I am a single mom to a special needs child and a disabled veteran, living off of a pension.  I do not have this money to fix the problem they created.  Thank yoju

First, they were supposed to schedule an appointment after 6 wks. from the order date.  I get a call on Monday saying they would be out that same day.  No notice whatsoever, but I let the guy come out because Tom said that if they didn't come out, we would be pushed way back on the schedule.  He was rude from the beginning.  When the two guys showed up that day, they asked where the well point was and I told them EXACTLY where it was.  They proceed to poke around the entire pool still looking for the well point.  I told them a total of 8 times where the well point was.  They said that you never know for sure unless you dig, so I told them my husband could dig when he got back from work.  They wanted to reschedule because they said they couldn't find the well point.  Finally, the other guy started digging EXACTLY where I had said in the beginning and said "Oh I found the well point".  WOW.  Was it just because they didn't want to dig out the 6" of dirt -- first impression -- RUDE & LAZY!  Then, they said they would come back Wednesday to finish.  I talked to Tom and I told him it wasn't a good time and I would rather schedule it when I didn't have other things going on   He assured me that it would only be a 1 day job.  I repeated 3 times -- are you sure -- one day only?  He again assured me that it would be completed in only 1 day.  Needless to say, they had to come back Thursday.  We let the pool run to the point they said it had to be (about 1/2 way full) but when they showed up, they said that they now had to drain about 8-10 inches of water because they missed a root.  They also said that they would eat the cost of the additional water because it was their fault.  Also, all while this was going on and because we live on the water, they took it upon themselves to bring their fishing poles and fish out on our dock.  They had the nerve to ask us (after the fact) and say, "Ya'll didn't mind our fishing on your dock did you?"  What could we say at that point?  So, we said that we didn't mind.  Then, they said "A lot of people actually mind it".  WOW,  if other people mind it -- why do they still do it and don't even ask permission?  Then I get the bill.  it was $400 extra because they had to use their pump.  I questioned it and said, that the original quote was misleading because it looked like they might not have to use their pump and if they knew for sure from the beginning, why didn't it just start with the additional $400 in the total quote?  I told them I was not happy with that and because of the extra $400 I would definitely want compensation for the additional water.  He had the nerve to offer me $5.  That's right $5.  WOW.  Let's just add fuel to the fire.  Then the boss man Tom (who conveniently seemed like he was only there to walk around on the dock) had the nerve to start raising his voice at me and negate my dissatisfaction.  In the end, they got their money, but I just hope that we don't have any problems afterwards because I suspect that they will be very difficult again.  LASTLY, they left a mess and broke one of our sprinkler heads.  Tom had the nerve of saying that we were the type of people that would never be happy.  Bottom line, if Tom would have (or someone would have) just apologized for the confusion and misunderstanding about the quote, I would have been okay and over looked all the other issues.  Instead, these people only wanted to make excuses and throw $5 at me and insult me.  They definitely DON'T have the mentality of putting the customer first.  Their motto must be CYA and lie till you die!

We had bad weather throughout the time we were to have our pool liner changed. Gulf Coast Pools were the utmost professionals and didn't rush the job, made sure the ground was ready and stayed in contact with us throughout the waiting period. Robert installed the liner as well as additional well points and did some patch repair before the liner went in. He did an excellent job. The price quoted and prices for additional services were all up front, there were no surprises. We were very pleased with the service, our new liner and how well Donna took care of us throughout the process. We would definitely recommend Gulf Coast Pools and plan to use them in the future.

Pool liner was wrinkled and pulled away from walls after very heavy rains. Called Gulf Coast Pool and Spa for a estimate. It was half the price of other pool companies. Technician arrived on time and did a great job. It took a few days to get all of the water drained from under the pool and the pool itself. Very happy with the result and the service. Very friendly and professional service. Received bill and it was half the quoted estimate!! Will definitely use again.
