Business Description: It all started with a single employee back in 1992. There was just the owner, Josh Broughton, a truck, and a simple fumigation system. Back then only cockroach extermination services were available. But as the years added on, other forms of insects were added onto the roster. Next was termites, as that usually merits fast response from homeowners. Nowadays Father and Son Pest Control can take on any problem no matter what the species.
Recent Review: My husband was the one who looked in to it. It seems to be helping. We have an outdoor area that is not screen done. It seemed to be helping the last couple of times. It is about $65 each time they come. The service itself seems to be working but I don't usually interact with them because I am usually at work when they do it. I would grade them a B just because it is a little bit pricey.
Recent Review: We pay $70 a month for mosquito and pest control. We pay $120 a year for termite control. They are reasonable. They have come out to house that we are looking at buying to check if there is any termite damage and things we should know. They went above than what they had to do.
Recent Review: The service tech was right on time. She sprayed inside and outside. She addressed some of my concern with sugar ants and gave me some traps for them. I signed up for quarterly sprays because I was impressed. She also mentioned mosquito control which I plan on doing. It was a great experience.

Reviews in Robertsdale to Treat Mosquitos
We cancelled our contract with Terminix. They only use natural based garlic oil, and it did absolutely nothing. I am very sensitive to mosquitoes and I was never able to sit out in my backyard. The product they use is not effective. When I called them and told them it wasn't working, they very quickly came back out and sprayed some more, which doesn't work! I'm in a rental house and I still have a contract with Terminix for cockroaches and they are wonderful for indoor pest services! I would never use them again for mosquitoes, but I would continue to use them for indoor pest services.

ASuperior Mosquito Defense
Excellent 'natural' mosquito control product without the worry of any potential side-effects to our 3 children and our dog. Precisely what we were looking for that some of the competitors out there do not guarantee is the SAFETY OF THE PRODUCT. Chris Bruner provided prompt service (called back within 2 minutes) and over-delivered on product application and friendly service. He sprayed thoroughly paying close attention to all of the low spots and areas of potential standing water. Best of all he told us that if any of our children receive ANY mosquito bites at our home then in the next 4 weeks he would come reapply an application for free! Definitely would recommend you giving Chris a call if you live in Mobile or Baldwin county area!

FCritter Gitter Pest & Termite Control
This servicing was a cluster. The Service Technicians spray unit smoked so much you'd think I was paying to fog the neighborhood for mosquitoes. To make things worse, about 1/2 way through the job, the service tech needed to get water from me to finish the job but didn't see him add pesticide to it. Additionally, the service tech made comments about the first technician apparently not measuring right because of the size of our back yard. Anyway, after a couple of days we saw no improvement because the ants were still alive and well. We contacted the company and they sent out another tech for a subsequent spraying of the front yard only.

In 2010 a raccoon got in my attic & did considerable damage. I started using this company right after that. As far as I know there haven’t been any other critters in the attic since. We have big roach-like bugs that love oak trees out here – They’re one of the prevalent problems we have along with snakes & lizards & mosquitoes. I haven’t had any infestations of anything for many years but there’s evidence that they still getting inside the dwelling periodically, but they don’t live long because of treatment this company does every 3 months. They’re prompt, courteous, & get the job done & leave. They call beforehand to set up the appointment & tell me who’s coming. When I get a knock on the door they introduce themselves before coming in which is nice this day in age.

FBugMeisters of Household Termite & Pest Control
The owner came to my house for the quote. He saw that I have dogs and cats. He said that because of this they would have to use a poison method on the rats that don't harm dogs and cats. I was worried about rat poison and he said that it had come a long way over the years and that if my animals did get a hold of what was put in the attic then they would throw-up. He said rats and mice can't throw-up and that is why it kills them and doesn't kill dogs. THEY USED SUPER CONCENTRATED RAT POISON. The mice or rats must have taken some of it out of the attic. My smallest dog DIED. I only saved my others because the vet got me vitamin K for them. My little baby dog bleed out in my arms and didn't make it to the vet in time to be saved. She died one block before getting there. It was horrifying. This company refused to take ownership for this. They continued to claim that what they used is non-toxic to dogs and cats. I yelled that they need to come get the rest of it out of my house. I took a picture of the container and it was super concentrated anti-coagulating rat poison. On another note: Ortho home spray works better than what they used. I saw no reduction in the the outside roaches, spiders, etc here in Florida. The fogger was a joke as well, I saw no reduction in gnats or mosquitoes. There were all these little tunnels and holes in my yard and I was worried they were snakes. these people took pictures and called me 3 months later to tell me they believed it was possum. Another company came out (they work with animal control) and told me exactly where the mice and rats were coming in and what I needed to do to keep them out. They saw the holes and tunnels, also that my dogs are right on top of them and they agreed with my further research that they were not snake, but in fact molechrickets. I DIY crushed eggshell coated in raw sunflower oil. now they are gone. Who can with feel pride in their work when they work for a pest control company and they kill my dog, and don't have enough sense to know a possum can't fit in a snake or a molechricket hole. I made the mistake of trusting what I thought were professionals. My advise would be to not believe only ratings and a personable owner. Personally interviewing these companies when they come to give you your quote is a must. I believe only then do you find out what some other company should have said or done and didn't. Please don't make the mistake that I did.
