Recent Review: Just as in the first phase, this phase went quickly and without a hitch. Almaroad is adept at making sure the jobs follow proper order so that crews don't have to come back to adjust for crews that followed them. However, he doesn't allow any time between jobs that could hold up completion. We had one instance where some siding wasn't available because we had used more than originally anticiapted and the warehouse did not have time to stock up. The total delay on this step was about three days.

Recent Review: House 1 remodel went well. I received a comprehensive estimate, work was carried out in a timely manner, and inadequate repairs were brought to my standards fairly quickly. Repairs made were sheetrock, framing, finishing, painting, porch roof replacement, floor repair, siding repair, flashing installation, and linoleum installation.  After redoing the poor flashing install, siding repair and linoleum install I was satisfied.  House 2 was a simple sheetrock and paint job.  The finishing work was fine.  The painting however was rushed and in need of a second coat and I was left to repaint the area when he could not correct it in a timely manner.  Repair #2 was sheetrock repair, baseboard prime and paint.  All were done correctly.  House 3 was a difficult job which took several months.  During this time, there were very few disagreements on timeframe and scope of work which is good.  He did collect pay for jobs prior to their completion, which caused discord when items remaining were not really worth the time needed to complete them. Items done were: wall addition, laundry framing and sheetrock, finish work, painting, paneling replacement, door repair, door installation, floor repair, bead board installation, shower cement board installation, porch demo, decking and rail installation, and eave replacement.  Items of concern were cement board installation on the shower surround one inch off tub and too close to plumbing, sheetrock on the ceiling improperly installed (the crown molding was not removed and therefore there was a one inch gap between the ceiling and wall that had to be repaired), large gaps on new eaves, and some items were paid for but not completed or had to be redone included paint, touch up, pressure washing under porch, and siding repair. Upon final payment the remaining items were not attended to.  These included, painting the ceiling, painting closets, removing tape from outlet covers and painting under them.  House 4 was doorway arch, paint, ceiling repair, floor poly, flush mount light install, drain repair, dishwasher install, siding repair, window repair.  Here there was so much paint on the floor that it took me an entire day to remove.  After asking him to redo a lumpy mud job he left it to dry and did not return to prime and paint it.  Silicone was used instead of proper plumbing on the drain repair, which he did correct.  Items paid for and not completed were ceiling prime and paint, sheetrock touch up, and window repair and glazing.  Additional expense for ceiling $50.  House 5 was a simple paint job, window repair and deck pressure wash and railing replacement.  He took an extra half day to replace step tread that was fine and paint return vent covers.  There was so much paint on the floor that it took a day and a $50 floor sander rental to correct.  Items paid for and not completed were window sill caulk and paint.  Additional damage $100. At the end of each job it became more difficult to get things redone and finally with the last two houses ultimately it was my responsibility to redo.  He did however go above and beyond my expectations at many times.  The bottom line is this, he can do things well, but if he is busy or a job drags on he may leave items sub par.  Sheetrock work was good.  framing and carpentry were good.  Painting and trim were good except for paint splatter.  He is honest, which is rare. My only complaints are that I wish he would have taken some of the work of supervision off of me and I wish he would have finished as strong as he started.

Recent Review: I took a chance on a flier ad. Phillip Brown (205-567-1826) came out to give me an estimate the day I called. I was originally just going to have him paint the wood trim on the peaks of my house, thinking I could do the rest myself (retired & 66yrs old). Ha! He painted the peaks and we did a walk-around on the house. I was adamant about wanting the flaking areas scraped or sanded, like my dad taught me! I had had the trim, soffit and gutters done before by someone else and he painted right over the peeling paint..and the paint job never looked great and didn't last. Mr Brown pointed out some areas where the wood on the soffit was rotting and he quoted me a fair price to do the whole thing, so I agreed....and am ever so happy I did! The paint and new wood was included in the price. We agreed on a start date and he called the day before to ask if he could come over to pressure wash the house so it would be dry by the next day for painting. He pressure washed everything...even the inside of my screened in porch! I wasn't expecting that! Awesome! The next day he came back with 1 helper and finished in one day. Here is what I got for my money: pressure washing, scraping and priming where needed, replacement of rotting boards, caulking (he caulked every crack he could find on the siding and everywhere), and painting of the entire house, including the inside of my screened-in porch! He did an awesome job! He used Sherwin-Williams paint, 123 Bullseye primer. He left no mess and I just can't express enough how happy I am with his work. He is not a fancy company...this is his home business. He deserves the work. He does interior painting also, so I expect I'll be calling him again before to long! He does it all when it comes to painting....and he does it well! I would like to upload some pictures of my house..if I can figure out how! My house SHINES! DChampion Painting
When he quoted me, he said it would take 2-3 days. What he did get done took 2 weeks. He also claimed to be one of Home Depot's top two painters that they used to do paint jobs. When I talked to Home Depot after the fact, they told me they only sold paint. They did not quote or do painting jobs. He convenienced me to give him the final payment so he could pay his employees on late Friday (3-2-2018) afternoon just before the bank closed. He lied about how much work had been completed and I paid him. My mistake. He promised to be back Saturday morning to finish up. Guess what. No show. He will not answer the phone or text messages but he cashed my check. I guess I am just out the money. The inside of the front door looks like he added sand to the varnish on the inside top. He sanded the outside and then did not re-varnish it leaving it exposed to the weather. He left the bathroom cab. with one coat of paint and it needed a second coat. He failed to paint two outside doors that he got paid for as well. I learned an expensive lesson from this.

ATrinity Renovations
It started when my husband noticed that we had shingles laying in our yard from the storm that had came through the night before. We then called Trinity Renovations because they worked with my parents insurance company when they had storm damage and they did an outstanding job for them. There was a roofing specialist at our home within one hour from the time we called. He put a tarp on the roof because we where afraid it would start to leak. He then help with filing the claim with the insurance company,  he also met with the claims adjuster when the inspection took place.  When we got the check from the insurance comp. it took only two days until they got the project started and finished in two days, They did an amazing job on everything, the roof looks great, the gutters are exactly what we want, and the paint job couldnt be better. I couldnt belive how clean the yard was when they left. They where puctual, professional, and friendly. They did such a good job with everything that we decided to let build  a deck for us. They did a outstanding job on it also. If i ever need anymore home improvments Trinity Renovations will be who I call. There phone numer is (205) 422-9601
