Recent Review: Air conditioner stopped working on a Friday around 5. It was close to 100 degrees outside so we really needed the air back on ASAP. Called 3D, answered immediately and was told they would have someone at our house within the hour and they did. Technician was an extremely nice and knowledgable young man who was eager to help us. Had the air back and running within the hour. You really can't ask for better service than that!

Recent Review: They were very thorough, found and fixed the issue. I had two other companies out to my house before Bojiffy and neither were able to fix the issue. I highly recommend Bojiffy to others.

Recent Review: We've had BQ work on our house several times for different things.  What I find is that they have a swing from medium to good, and it seems to depend a lot on when and who is involved. When we had some minor inside electrical done, they installed an incorrect socket that will have to be replaced, since the people who came out didn't know how to do it properly.  There was a case where they completely blew the appointment, then missed the next one, then were very late on the third try.  Calling into the main office got a discount, but it was still a bad thing to miss work and not only not get stuff done, but also to have to miss work AGAIN. However we had a major sewer line failure, in cold and misty weather, at night, and they got somebody out within an hour to come try to fix it.  They weren't able to that night, but that's because it was broken REALLY badly.  We ended up having to dig up the back yard and replace the whole thing.  I stayed to see for myself and it was as bad as they had thought.  The work was expensive, really expensive, but the service contract we had took a lot off the bill.  And as much as I could grumble about it being expensive, they got people out there and got the work done really, really fast.  I had offers from other people that came in a lot cheaper, but I was looking at having no sewer line for about a week and a half to two weeks.  I guess because BQ is kind of big and charges more, I think it was about 2 days before everything was completely fixed.  For that job, they had two people on site and a third who came by to check on the progress a couple of times.  One of the guys was really awesome.  The other had apparently just been hired and spent a lot of time smoking and complaining while the good guy directed him.  The good guy and the supervisor both apologized for the new guy's performance and attitude.   I also had to get a furnace / AC.  The old one was very old and had become unsafe.  Again, they were expensive but they got the old one out and the new one installed really fast.  They had some issues getting the new thermostat installed partly because of the way our system is set up in the house, and had to come back to get that straightened out.  They did that at no charge though since it was part of the job.   So, they're expensive, but that gets you a fast response - most of the time - and quality work - most of the time.  I stick with them mainly because they've done pretty good work so far and if I have an emergency they're good.

Recent Review: It worked out just fine. They brought the wrong furnace the first time but I happened to catch it before they got it out of the box. That may have been just a communication breakdown because the one that we wanted was an Energy Star and I just assumed they all were. When I saw the box, I asked where the Energy Star was on the box so I could deduct it from our taxes. We said that's not what we had and they brought us the one we wanted. We had a gas leak a couple of years later on the furnace and we called them. They came out and there was no charge. They came right away.

AG & A Heating and Cooling
We had used G & A for cleaning service for our air conditioner a couple of years before their latest service last year, and had been happy with the service. So when our air conditioner developed ice on its exterior and started blowing hot air, we called G & A first. However, the owner, Gerry, was on another job and we had to leave a message. Since it was summer in Alabama, we were impatient to get someone out to fix the air conditioner, so we called another company. What a mistake! The other company sent someone out who did next to nothing, didn't fix the problem, and charged hundreds of dollars along with the concern that we would need to spend hundreds more to get the cold air blowing again. We told this other company we'd get back to them. Luckily, Gerry (pronounced "Gary") called back that afternoon and came right out as soon as he could. He worked in the blistering sun to thoroughly work over our air conditioner until it was working again and charged only a fraction of what the other company had charged. We will never call anyone for heating and cooling service except Gerry Walton and G & A Heating and Cooling.

I think they are kind of pricey but they are an excellent company. They also fixed something and that was reasonable. As far as the replacement cost, they are about competitive. I just happen to find someone who had a more competitive price. They just wanted to sign me up for a maintenance program. There was a little bit of sales pitch there. I think they really know what they are doing. All the technicians are NATE certified. I think what needs to be fixed gets fixed correctly and it’s not haphazard on how they repair something. I will just call them for a repair again. I read that they are NATE certified and that is pretty important and a whole lot of AC techs are not. I think they are family business and they have been in business for a long time.

I called and they promptly answered the phone. I told them what I needed and they arrived that very day. The technician knocked on the door to introduce himself and explain what he would be doing. He was very courteous and let me know when he finished, what he did while he was there and that he was now leaving. They did the same at our lake house as well. I felt like we received excellent service and value. Highly recommend this company.

Upon receiving our call, they assured us someone would be there that day and they were! The service person was very professional and performed the service in a timely fashion. It is obvious that this company takes pride in their work and employees. I have used them several times (have rental property and two homes and office building) and will continue to use them in the future. I have always had a great experience and have always felt that they charged an appropriate amount for their service. I highly recommend this company.

Absolutely the best and most professional repair service we have ever experienced on anything. Our 5 ton air conditioning went out Saturday on Labor Day weekend. We called a large well-known company early Tuesday to come out. They couldn't give us an exact time when they could get to us. When they got here they told us the compressor was bad and had to be replaced. They said it might take a couple of days if they had to order it. We decided to get another quote before committing since it was around $2500. We looked on Angie's List and called Ricky Kendrick of Indoor Air Heating and Cooling at 205 462-1500 at 11 am. He said he could be here at 1 p.m. Before 1 p.m. Ricky Kendrick was at the door. He tested it and confirmed it was the compressor. He suggested we buy a whole new air conditioning unit because it would be less expensive than replacing just the compressor. The price he quoted for the new unit was several hundred dollars below the previous quote from the first company for just the compressor alone.( We had not told him what the previous quote for just the compressor was. )We asked him to give us a quote on replacing our 26 year old furnace also. We decided to go ahead and replace our entire heating and cooling system. We mentioned the discount he listed on Angie's List for being a member for and he gave us a 10% discount. Ricky placed the order for the units and the next morning he was here before 7 a.m. with the units. He and his helper put down drop cloths over the concrete floor in the basement to keep it clean when they accessed the crawl space. They worked all day without even stopping for lunch. Around 3 p.m. they finished installing almost everything including a new smart thermostat. Ricky explained thoroughly (twice) how the new thermostat worked. He checked the vents to make sure the air was flowing well. The air was cool and comfortable. He explained that he would also be installing a pump to take the water out of the crawl space and would be able to do it the following Tuesday. (The old unit just dripped water into the crawl space.) He called the next day to check that we did not have any questions. He also remembered it was my husband's birthday and wished him happy birthday. On Friday he called to say he could come out Monday with the pump. He came out first thing Monday and installed the pump. We had almost forgotten what real customer service felt like until our experience with Ricky Kendrick at Indoor Air Heating and Cooling.

Last week my air conditioner had a problem and I thought it was a perfect time to go on Angie's List. The company that I have used in the past was rated B but another company which one of my friends had recommended was also listed and it was rated with an A and it had all good reviews. I called them at 9:00 in the morning. They were extremely nice on the telephone. I asked if they could get somebody out here that day and she said absolutely, without a doubt. They had a repair man out here at 12:00 noon. He spent an hour and a half and fixed the problem. Everything went very, very smoothly. I paid $148 and I was pleased with that as well. I was impressed at how professional and prompt they were. I had lesser repairs that cost more money in the past with other people. Their service man called me and said he would be here in about 15 minutes and he was.

ATurner & Schoel Inc
I called Turner and Schoel around 10:00am because my air conditioner was not blowing cold air. A lady answered the phone. I told her my problem, my address and phone number. She said that someone would be out later that afternoon. At 2:00pm I received a call from the technician; he said he would be there in a few minutes. About ten minutes later he was here. He was very polite and respectful. He took one look and knew exactly what was wrong. The power to our house had recently gone out and it blew the fuse in the breaker box. He showed me then quickly replaced it. While he was working he noticed that the outside unit was very dirty and offer to clean it for me inside and out. My air conditioner is running better now than it has since it was brand new. He charged me $250.00 for the part and cleaning which I think is a little high, but I am pleased with the work. My house is nice and cool!
