Recent Review: Our move was actually pretty stressful, and trying to get the house cleaned wasn't much better. We'd booked one cleaning company and they cancelled on us a week out. We called Spotless not even expecting them to have an opening with such little notice, but Jennifer was really nice and accomodating. She told me that they also offer carpet cleaning and can do both services at the same time - just booking through one company and having one contact was wonderful! The girls showed up first to clean the house and worked for a couple of hours before the carpet cleaner came. They timed it so that the girls were done cleaning the carpeted rooms and the carpet cleaner was done before they mopped the hard floors. They weren't in each other's way or messing up each other's work. All the workers were really nice and professional. They put both services on one invoice for us and I liked how all the workers got along and worked nicely together. You could tell the company is full of good employees who really like each other. The housecleaners told me about the regular services they do for most of their clients and after seeing how nice the girls at Spotless were, I kind of wish we had just kept an every-other-week appointment to keep the house clean while we lived there.

Mr. and Mrs. Hayes were running late and my husband had already began throwing away items left behind by tenant. The Hayes finally arrived and began working. Mrs. Hayes needed glass cleaner so my husband drove to the store and bought some for her. My husband did yard work while they were inside. I was out of town with our son and his family. They were in the home for 2 hours and 15 minutes. My husband and I usually do the cleaning which takes 12 to 16 hours. Since the house was very dirty we needed the help. At first the house looked somewhat clean. After a closer look no drawers or cabinets were cleaned, empty, but not clean. The tubs had rings in them. No window sills were clean and spider webs were in many corners.. The ceramic tile floors were sticky. The self cleaning feature on the oven had been turned on but all of the cooktop pans were coated in grease. There was dried urine pooled on the floor next to one of the toilets. There were items still in the laundry room cabinets which needed to be thrown away. We were very unhappy and called the Hayes. They only made excuses and offered no response. My husband and I have worked 9 hours so far cleaning the house when we paid someone else to do the job.

I ordered this for a "moving out" cleaning and the company could not do the cleaning in time. They were very nice, just didn't fit into their schedule so I couldn't get the cleaning done.

I pay for her gas. So, the cost is somewhere between $15 and $20 an hour. She is in her 30s. She cleans houses and always wants extra work. She has got a lot of energy.

AAbove & Beyond Residential Cleaning Service
When we scheduled the estimate, A&B was timely in getting us scheduled and punctual on the set day of the estimate. Because we called early enough in advance, there still had an opening to have our house cleaned on a Saturday. During the summer months their weekends get booked quickly. Once we had the date set, we kept in touch with Cathy the owner. She does all of the estimates and the price will be based upon the square footage of the house being cleaned. As we approached our cleaning date, our scheduled move got shortened and the movers arrived a day early. Because of that, we had the house empty by Wednesday of that week and called Cathy on Tuesday to see if she could possibly come out early. She was able to accomodate and was even willing to split it up over Thursday and Friday if she could not get it all done on Thursday. She brought a crew of 5 including herself and it took them about 4 hours, but they sure did a fantastic job! I wish we could have brought Cathy and her girls with us on our move, our new home was not cleaned at all after being built and I really could have used them to make it as spotless as the rental house we left. I will admit, they had us leave the A/C on while they cleaned the house with the windows open to let fumes out, which when the heat was 105 outside, made for a bit of a higher electric bill, but the cleaning they did was well worth the extra cost in electricity. I cannot recommend A&B enough! They are a bit more expensive than others out there, but they are well worth their weight in gold!!! Thank you Cathy!!!

I was looking for a unique Christmas gift for my wife and she had mentioned how it sure would be nice to have a clean house...not smart enough to get my wife's indirect hint that I clean the house myself, I immediately started doing research on house cleaning services and came upon some great recommendations for A&B Professional Cleaning Services on Angie's List, and I am glad that I did. Kathy came out the day I called to do an walk-through of the house (3 floors (1 a finished basement) with over 4000 square feet of living space). She was detailed in her analysis and told me she would get back with me with an estimate once she had gone over her notes. While she told me she was not the least expensive cleaning service in town, she was extremely committed to the quality of work she would provide. She quoted me $625.00 for a deep cleaning of the entire house (which I would expect had not been done in the 3 years since I have owned the house and the 4 years it was rented out prior to my purchasing it) and said it would take about 6-7 hours with 4-5 cleaning ladies. We scheduled it for two days prior to the Superbowl (as I was having a party that weekend). Even with the snow storms in the area causing a lot of havoc with schedules - she was able to ensure that she showed up and got the house cleaned prior to our party. After 8 hours of work on the first day (4 ladies cleaning), Kathy told me that she would like 4 additional hours the next day to finish the work (3 cleaning ladies completed the job) to ensure she met her own high standards of quality. My wife and I were extremely happy with the work she and her crew did on our house. And though she took longer than she originally expected to complete the work needed (we have 3 kids), she did not increase the price - I truly believe we got more than we expected. I would recommend this crew to anyone looking for a house cleaning service - Great job Kathy!
