Recent Review: I can't remember the date, I think it has been about a2 and 1 1/2 months.  We were having a hard rain.  It was suppose to rain for 2 days.  My roof started leaking I called as many people as I could find who may be able to help me.  No one would answer my call or I got an answering machine. I left messages and the next morning Jimmy Edwards's Roofing Company called me.  He said he would come and repair my leak for a $250.00 service call.  He came just like he sais he would and he stopped my roof from leaking.  He put something that looked like glue under a shingle which looked like a nail head had came up through it.  He used a calk gun.  Then    he said he didn't like a near by valley looked.  He used a spray can that looked like it had tar in it, and sprayed the valley and part of the roof.  That really made my roof look bad.  Jimmy did what he sais he would, but I think $250.00 was a very high price and I think that spraying my roof was unnecessary to spray my roof tike that. He could have more careful and just sprayed the valley.  I think he did it thanking he would my get to reroof my house. He stopped my leak, for the price he quoted. But I think he could have been more professional.  All though he told me his price up front I think it was VERY high.  But, that is what you have to do when you have no other choices.

Recent Review: Worked with a previous contractor for 2 years to try and solve a leak in our roof. With no success, the first contractor settled on a roof replacement as the fix. We consulted Heritage Roofing to verify whether the roof actually needed to be replaced. Justin identified that the roof was in good shape and the source of the leak was the improperly wrapped/sealed chimney. A couple of beads of properly applied sealant quickly solved the issue. Our experience with Justin was outstanding and we highly recommend his services.

Recent Review: Very responsive. Returned my phone call, and immediately sent an out a technician to provide estimate. I had called three companies. Jones Bros was the only one who provided a timely response. i was afraid the leak was due to a roof leak. The gentleman who evaluated the problem, quickly determined it was just a faulty roof vent. I was extremely pleased with the price and the professional manner of their technicians.

Recent Review: Dan is a very personable man and seemed confident he could find and correct the two leaks in our roof. His cell phone rang pretty constantly while we were talking to him which made carrying on a conversation difficult. We chose him because he guaranteed he would fix the leaks. We arranged for him to come and do the work. He would start and stop and fail to come back when promised. He stuck with his original estimate even when the work entailed putting in the metal valleys. However, the roof is still leaking in one place, and he will not return our calls.

Recent Review: I noticed water trickling around a vent pipe in my attic during a rain storm. I also noticed water leaking around an area near some soffits over my garage that I had replaced the day before. I looked at the reviews on Angie's list and Mr. Guyette's business got very favorable ratings. I called his office and the receptionist said he would get back with me either that day or the next. After I returned home that evening from work he was already parked by the curb and apparently had been in the process of leaving a note on my door. I got his attention and we talked. I showed him the issues and he said they could effect repairs that week. In fact his crew came out the next afternoon and got everything patched up. Wow! what great service! Mr. Guyette was very professional and reassuring. He took care of the problem expeditiously. He also provided me with an estimate for a new roof (which I will probably replace in the near future). I would definitely use him again.

AHeritage Roofing and Construction
First a little background. I purchased the house in 2011. The original house was built in 1955 and is still rock solid. Approximately two thirds of the roof is architectural shingles and is less than 10 years old. The remaining portion of the house was added on sometime in the 1970's and is commercial style flat roofing. It's not really flat, but has a very shallow slope. If it had a steeper slope that matched the slope of the front 2/3, there wouldn't be enough headroom for adult human beings to walk around. Justin came out that morning just before heading out on a another emergency job and did a quick assessment and discovered a leaky pipe boot. Came back that night around 6:30 and put up a tarp to keep out any further rain until he could get back out the next day to do the job. After the pipe boot was replaced, he said that the pipe boot was probably the least of our problems but he wouldn't be able to do a really thorough inspection without making matters worse. Whole sections of flat roof were loose and lifting up from the decking. He quoted me a price of $2500 to replace the entire flat roof section. I'm a firm believer in the doctrine of "trust but verify." However, there are some things that I'm physically unable to verify on my own. So, I told him that I needed to get a second opinion before I could commit to anything that large and that he'd be on the short list to get the job when the time came. When Justin left, my brother, who was visiting at the time, got on the phone to a friend of his in the industry for a price check based on the quote Justin provided. That price quote came in approximately $800 higher. I spent most of the next day calling other roofing companies trying to get inspections and subsequent quotes and ended up leaving voice messages with 4 or 5 different companies. The one instance where a person actually answered the phone told me they'd have one of their guys call me to schedule a time to come by to check it out and give me a quote. My sister, who worked in construction before joining the Montgomery Police Department, came over that afternoon and climbed onto the roof to verify its condition. She agreed with Justin's assessment. The flat section of the roof had to be replaced, sooner rather than later. The next morning, I called Justin to schedule the repair. .Work began on Friday, Feb 14th 2014 and would have been completed that day except for a miscalculation in the amount of roofing he needed. He ran out before the was completely covered. He would have to get another roll of the roofing material. There was a slight chance of rain, but Justins big tarp was at another job site with his other crew, so we crossed our fingers and hoped that Mr. Murphy wouldn't pay a visit. No such luck, it started raining around 8:00pm and started leaking from several places almost immediately. I whipped out my smartphone and fired off a text message to Justin. He responded almost immediately with, "Is there any dry-wall getting wet." I answered, "Maybe, let me ask my father-in-law." I was bed-ridden at the time so all I could do was yell out, "Hey, is there any dry-wall getting wet?" My brother called back, "What?" Before I could even repeat my question, my phone issued the "incoming text message" sound. It was Justin, "I'm here with tarp." A couple of minutes later I heard footsteps on the roof and the flow of water began to slow down a couple of minutes after that. The next morning, Justin and his helper(s) were back on the roof finishing up before I had even woke up and we haven't had a single leak since. Justin wrote on the job contract that he guarantee'd the roof for as long as I owned the home. Since I fully intend to live out the rest of my life in this house, I really can't ask for any more. So, other than the hiccup with not being able to finish and leaving the roof vulnerable to rain my experience with Heritage Roofing was about as good as it could have been. The quick way Justin responded when a problem did occur, made what could have been a disaster turn out very well. if anyone asks me to recommend a roofing company, my recommendation will be for them to call Justin at

AWalker Roofing
Extremely professional, he was there when he said he would be and completed the job when he said it would be done. He covered everything agreed upon and when little things were found that were not discussed he also went ahead and took care of that. Mr.Walker is probably the most professional roofer i have delt with, and as a building maintenance supervisor i have delt with alot. There is no doubt that any future jobs i have or if anyone else runs into roofing or gutter issues and ask for recommendations Walker roofing will be my go to worry free call. 5 stars.

AGuyette Roofing & Construction
I had called Guyette's one time previously regarding another project and did not get a return call. He replaced many roofs in my neighborhood and I have heard many positive things about him and his work, so I called again when I had a small roofing leak. I did call and inquire about whether he was coming by at the time he originally indicated. He is a very pleasant and honest businessman. The leak has stopped and the service was timely, efficient, and effective.

After estiment, came out and took off old roof. Installed the metal roof. It is very fllimsy, but he insisted it was sturdy. Also promised, if there was "any" leaks he would come back out and seal them up. Came one time for a small leak. Have called him several times about how the roof is leaking even worse but no response. After this last storm (12/16/2012) the INTIRE ROOF LEAKED!!! We will not be calling him again...when summer comes, we will have someone else come out and rip off the entire thing.
