Recent Review: Ok, this started out just to be a new paint job which would involve painting the whole house and trim. But it grew to installation of siding, painting of trim (replacing trim as needed) new vinyl windows, a new deck and pergola?..and I am so glad it did! Because it looks great! It looks like a new house. Jeff had told me what a difference the siding would make. I knew that was true as my house had three different types of siding on it but I could never imagine that I could afford it. I was really surprised that, while it was almost twice the cost of painting, I could afford it and it made such a huge difference having all of the siding the same. He also was able to do a mixture of wood trim with the siding to make it more affordable for me. I could not imagine having a mixture of wood and vinyl, but the way they did it really, really looks good. I also had some brick on the house that he painted and was able to match the paint color with the siding perfectly. That is one of the things I like about Estes Remodeling is the great attention they pay to detail. This was around $7,800. I also had three different kinds of windows on the front of the house (original to the house which was built in the 70s). They needed replacing really bad. They replaced them with View Point vinyl double pane windows. When I asked what I needed to do to prepare for them to replace them, they said, ?Wait, that is all?. So that is all I did, they took down the curtains and blinds. Removed the windows and replaced them, they did not even have to remove the trim. I was so amazed at how they did that without breaking a single pane of glass! No mess, hardly any noise. Then they replaced the blinds and curtains for me. Except for the fact they are new, they fit so well they look original to the house. This was around $2,800. I had them replace an old porch with a new deck and pergola and stain the deck and pergola. This was by far my favorite home improvement project this year (with the exception of having my brick fireplace tiled, which Estes Remodeling also did for me). All I had to do was send Jeff a picture with what I had in mind. He told me he could build a better one than that, and he absolutely did! This was around $6,000. They make all of this look so easy. Jeff says it is experience. I think he has a magic wand somewhere in the back of his truck.
