Recent Review: Start to finish 15 min. including reading instructions. Tip: when draining tank, take lower nut off then place bowl under bottom of tank. then raise old guts (fill), let tank water empty. Quicker than sponge - a lot less messy.

Recent Review: When called, responded quickly and came that day to pump tank. When pumping tank found additional problems and showed problems as they performed work.   Did not try to sell me additional services but when I called them back the next day to repair additional items came back out that day and repaired all problems promptly and efficiently. I watched all work and observed them doing all work professionally and correctly to insure I would have no other problems in the future.  They also installed new septic tank lid which allows better tank cleaning access for the future and installed a field line filter which will keep field lines clear in the future.  They also showed me how to clean filter and how often it should be checked and cleaned.  Both employees were courteous, professional, and performed all work in a professional manner.  Also, after completing digging did a great job filling and leveling yard.  I had to do very minimal slight raking and pick up afterward.

Recent Review: The HVAC technician, Clint, managed to fix a minor problem with my central unit that would allow it to run, temporarily. He spent a a lot of time getting prices for replacement parts for my model and gave me other additional information. He was efficient, effective and very courteous. I was extremely pleased with his service. The plumber, Scott, came out to replace a toilet. He had to come out twice and brought a new toilet, nice model with elongated tank and sat higher with parts included. He spent a lot of time helping me make a decision on the best course of action. He was efficient, effective and very courteous. I was very pleased with his service. Megan, in the office, was very friendly and was excellent in communicating with me about various details and arrival times.

I have used mr. Dan's plumbing in the past but this was the first time for their septic part. They came out and pumped out the tank. The gentleman was professional and on time. We were expecting to have to replace the field lines but did not have to. The lid over the tank did have a crack line in it which is understandable since the unit is approximately 48 years old. Mr. Dan's professional whose name was Josh explained everything to us as well as the costs. We elected to replace the lid and Josh came out the following day as he promised. After he had removed and replaced the lid, he showed us the old lid and that it had a hole in the underside. This could have been a very serious problem had it not been taken care of. We appreciated Josh's knowledge and his taking the time to completely go over everything with us. He could have easily sold us new field lines (we were ready to buy) which we did not need. This is typical of the service we have had from Mr. Dan's in the past. Is it no wonder that we are "repeat" customers?!

It went very well.  Once the septic tank was pumped because the water was backing up in the basement bathroom, it was discovered that there was still a problem. The tech, Cory, called the company and arranged for a plumber to come out.  They were here within a few hours and took care of the problem.  So far, so good!!

They were wonderful. They were great. They did a great job. They went over 100% for us. They came the very day we called them which is wonderful. Their prices are reasonable. A couple of weeks later I had a small problem and I called this lady back and she was the sweetest lady, helped me right over the phone and told us what the problem could possibly be and called her service guy to ask him a question about it. She called me right back and my husband did what they said and it fixed the problem instantly. I was just very pleased with these people. In one day's time they helped us with a problem. I was very, very impressed. They were very nice. Their service guy was great. He was very nice, personable and courteous. The lady I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful and instantly called someone to get us serviced and they called and came when they said. That was just great.

ASweet Home Repairs and Remodeling
I am a 88 years old widowed woman. I live on a very limited income of social security and a small pension my husband left when he died in March 2013. In May 2013 my hot water tank wouldn't work any longer. I was almost broke due to the funeral cost of burying my husband. I called 6 local plumbers (Crouch Sons Plumbing, Hearn Plumbing Company, Hoyt Lane & Sons Plumbing, Fuller Plumbing, Beck Boys Plumbing and Shoals MPE) hoping one would take the $386,00 that I could afford to pay and replace my hot water tank. Everyone of them gave me a bid of 650 to over a 1000 dollars to replace it. I explained to each one how much I had and why and each one said they just couldn't help me. I went May 2013 thru December 2013  without hot water, I took sponge baths over my sink after I warmed water on my stove. At Church one Sunday I asked someone if they knew anyone that did hot water tank work, and I was given a card of Sweet Home Repairs. I called them and Eric and Rodger came to my home and after I explained  my situation they left for Lowes and returned about a hour later with a hot water tank and installed it. I offered to pay them the 700 dollars I had saved to replace it but Mr. Denton and his worker Rodger refused the payment. I insisted and again they refused but said they would except a bowl of spaghetti and meat balls that I was cooking for dinner guest I was having over that night. I gladly paid them. They thank me for lunch and away they left. I have never gotten to truly thank them but they both are wonderful young men. Please hire them they a wonderful company unlike others I mentioned.

FAmerican Plumbing and Septic Service
They pumped the septic tank and inspected it. Most companies charge half what they charge for the same service. They recommended replacing a perfectly good and working septic tank at $2500 and at a minimum replacing a baffle wall at $650. After talking with other reputable plumbers they told me this was not necessary and that this company is notorious for up selling and over charging customers. They tend to prey upon old ladies and people who are at desperate. Every one of the plumbers and septic companies was able to pinpoint this company without me even mentioning their name. It's not a coincidence. Ask around and don't rely upon any positive reviews you see even on this site because apparently they have relatives and friends giving reviews because they are a pretty large company.

FSuperior Sewer&Septic
Superior showed up to do an inspection without the proper equipment to inspect a septic tank. They wanted an additional $200 to use a backhoe which should have been part of the original plan. This put the inspection at a date that canceled the original closing of the house. Then the repairs recommended were originally quoted $3500-$4200 dollars, when the actual quote was rendered, they wanted $5800 dollars and then once the work was scheduled they dug up my entire yard and destroyed the existing field lines so that the system no longer worked and then stated that they couldn't do the work as it was and needed an additional new tank for another $1000 (the existing one was fine) and $3000 in plumbing work to move all the plumbing as well and then additional electrical work. They are scam artists out to constantly under bid and then drive up the cost by messing up existing work. Two different plumbers have come to the house today to verify that this was the case. Do not use them. EVER. THey have cost us more money than it originally should have cost for just field line replacement.
