Recent Review: Mark and his crew were just a little late on the first day, but after that all went well. We were so happy with the price and work on the kitchen floor that we got him to lay our carpet the next day. He stayed with each job until finished and finished on time.

Recent Review: I have 2 homes and used Hank's to put hardwood, laminate and carpet in them. I think they are great. Their prices are cheaper than flooring stores in Chattanooga. Most importantly, they have a list of installers who are punctual and reliable.
Recent Review: We had a great experience with Steve. He took the time to help us make the best choices for our home and our tastes. He was very dependable, and worked with us to make sure the job got finished up in the order we needed it to. He was wonderful about cleaning up at the end of the day, and often left things cleaner than they were when he came in. His crew of two was very considerate of us even though we were (too often) in their way. We always procrastinate on home improvement projects because they never seem to go as well as we hope they will. Finally, we have had a major project that was a pleasure from start to finish.
Recent Review: Beautiful product, good prices. Only issue was a delay in shipping of several weeks due to inventory. This delay caused issues with scheduling on a whole-house renovation and it would have been quite useful to know about upfront, rather than having to call them repeatedly for updates. When the flooring finally arrived, weeks late, it was beautiful and in very good shape. I would use them again, but I would order much earlier than needed to allow for any delays.
Recent Review: These guys have the widest selection of carpet I've ever seen, across multiple manufacturers. And the discount was substantial enough to make it worth the trip, around 30-40% vs. quotes from local flooring companies, even after considering shipping costs (which were less than I expected). There was a bit of a snafu with the delivery of the carpet, as we needed it to arrive by a set date so our installer (a 3rd party) could install the carpet before we moved into the house. We were in danger of not receiving the carpet in time, but they acknowledged the timing issue was their mistake and as a result authorized a rush next-day delivery without charging us anything extra for shipping so it all worked out.

Recent Review: When we decided to remodel our master bathroom we wanted the new shower and floor to be the showpiece of the project. Affordable Tile Works delivered exactly what we wanted in a professional and timely manner. Plus did it all for a great price! The price was slightly lower than others but included higher quality materials and additional cost saving services not offered in other estimates. Beyond a reasonable price, it was Heath and Kelly’s attention to detail from start to finish that created a stunning shower, floor and accented bathtub that is admired by all who see it. They planned the job well and kept us informed of their step by step progress. The demolition was done in a timely and clean manner. Their painstaking preparation and meticulous installation assured their work would not only look good but would be problem free. And it certainly does look good! The artistic blending of adjoining tiles made the entire shower and floor appear to be made from large pieces of stone. The custom built shelves, bench and drain are examples of the pride they take in their work. Above all, Heath’s accent tile design and craftsmanship made our shower stall a work of art. We couldn’t be happier with the price and quality of their work and, without any reservations, we highly recommend Affordable Tile Works.
Recent Review: We chose 1st Class floors based on other Angie's list reviews. Everything which everyone else raved about is true--- Tony responds to his phone calls within a reasonable amount of time, if not immediately. He demonstrated stain colors that would go best with our decor. Our old hardwood floors which were refinished looks as fantastic as the new flooring which was installed. Cost wise, since they use a water based stain and finish, plus the dustless sanding system, we were able to move upstairs (our first floor had the work done). We could be back in our house in the early evening, able to walk in sock feet on the floors and not incur the cost of staying at a hotel. We were considering having our upstairs re-carpeted, but now we have changed our minds and are waiting for 1st Class Floors to schedule us to install new hardwood floors. Tony and his entire team are a joy to work with.
I WOULDN''T GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR CARPET OR FLOORING! OVER THE PAST 5 YEARS, CARPET FASHIONS HAS REPLACED ALL THE CARPET AND FLOORING IN MY ENTIRE HOUSE (3,600 SQ.FT). THEY ARE THE BEST THAT I''VE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY 30 YEARS OF OWNING HOMES. THEY''RE REASONABLY PRICED AND HAVE QUALITY PRODUCTS (I''VE PREVIOUSLY PAID A LOT MORE FOR A LOT LESS!). THEY''RE DEPENDABLE, COURTEOUS, TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN THEIR WORKMANSHIP, AND LEAVE THE AREA CLEAN AND NEAT. WHAT MORE COULD I ASK FOR?!

ACochran's Floors & More
They were initially difficult to reach, but later explained they were having phone issues. They arrived promptly at time estimated and completed the job in a timely manner. They removed the old carpeting, moved the furniture and put pads on furniture all for about the same price as Lowe's. Their job was far more professional. I even had a problem where the room's shoe rail was not going to match the one in the doorway and they made it match.

AMasterweave Floor Covering
we have used masterweave multiple times over the last 10 years. The last order this year was a 2000 sq ft in Shaw laminate wood flooring. Jim Fargo got us a great price on the flooring for the new build house. Ended up paying about the same price as the builders carpet, for the laminate flooring.

It worked out well. They came in and did a really good job. They were prompt and I thought the price was fair for the amount of work they did.

AComplete Flooring Service
Provider was responsive when contacted, explained in detail the options, went to extra lengths to find samples of flooring which is not currently on many shelves and managed to procure the hard to find selection in sufficient quantity to complete my floor. Provider's price was fair and allowed for a credit against a box of unopened materials at the end of the job. Installers were on the job when promised and completed the work within agreed timeframe. The floor is well installed, looks fabulous and I will certainly use this company again. From start to finish a truly positive experience.

AJames Cope Remodeling
I had a very lean budget ($3,000) and James was willing to work with me to stay within that amount. However, a bigger company that gets dirt cheap wholesale prices was able to do the project for less than $3,000 so I went with them. James was polite, professional, responsive and on time with well rounded knowledge of home improvement. I will certainly call him for other home improvement projects in the future.

A great experience from start to finish! The materials were ordered and delivered to the house on Thursday. The installers arrived Friday morning and were finished by 3:30 that afternoon. The installers did a great job and were very professional. I and my son moved a large portion of our furniture although it was in the contract for the installers to move it. We did this mainly due to stereo and computer equipment that would be difficult without prior installation knowledge. The installers thanked me for removing as much as I could because it helped speed up the installation. Bucky and his crew did a wonderful job and I most defiantly would recommend them.

Danny gave itemized estimate before being hired for work. After he began the job, he kept us informed through each phase. He produced itemized statement after each portion was completed. We made the decision to add some extra tasks during the term of the job, therefore the end cost was a little more than original estimate. He did a great job in a timely fashion even throwing in a few extras at no extra charge. He is diligent in shopping for best available price on materials. We were very impressed with the end result. Danny is an honest dependable man with a very nice personality. His work is professional and price is reasonable.

FLowe's of Athens
My husband and I picked out a vinyl floor to be installed in our kitchen. The company hired by Lowe's installed the floor. After a short time, a bubble came up in the floor. I called the store, and they sent out a manager to look at it. She told me the bubble appeared because of my sliding my chair. Don't we slide our chairs in our kitchens? How ridiculous. But she stood firm in that they would not do anything to fix it. I called another manager at the store. They all decided that I should get another floor, a laminate. I said I did not want a laminate. I wanted the floor I bought. We took a long time to choose this floor to go in our kitchen. I wrote to the corporate office about this situation. By the way, we went to the store just to see what the laminate looked like and a salesperson said that laminate would not work in a kitchen, because if you spill something on it, it will ruin it. The manager, Regina, called me several times with offers, but never to redo the floor that had a big bubble in it. Even the siding under the sink came off and showed the installers failed to use much glue. I don't think they used the right glue, as I called the floor company and asked about this floor. You were supposed to use a special glue, which Lowe's did not. After much aggravation and time passing. I had a big bubble in my floor during the Christmas holidays, when I really wanted a new floor to "show off". Finally the corporate office told them to take up the bubbled floor and do it over. A different company installed it this time. It is beautiful now. I will NEVER buy anything big from Lowe"s in Athens again. All this took SIX MONTHS to get Lowe's to redo the floor. Their manager, Regina, needs to take a course on how to treat customers. She was very rude.
