I had a heat pump installed last year and 2 components, one installed improperly and another that was faulty, resulted in increases in power and gas bills. They also forgot to install a return downstairs that led to the compressor failing 6 months after the unit was installed. The service manager agreed with the 2 technicians that corrected the problems that the previously mentioned components were responsible and told me that I would be compensated for the excessive bills. The owner, David Davis, took over and after 2 months of not taking my calls or returning them, finally called and said he wasn't going to compensate me. I filed a claim with the BBB, he still refuses to pay. He has been rude and dismissive, not to mention that he made false statements in his response to the BBB. I have no problems with the Perfect Service technicians or the service manager, but based on my dealings with the owner, I would not recommend this company to anyone. 2/20/2013 I had actually forgotten writing this on Angie's list back in '07 or I would have corrected it as I did the other reviews that I wrote. Udpate, about a year or so after the dealings with David Davis, I was contacted by the service manager previously mentioned stating he and another Perfect Service employee had purchased the business from Davis and wanted to make right the wrongs Davis had done against not only myself, but other customers as well. I was asked what my reimbursement request was that I had based on bills compared to the previous year. I told them, and less than a week later I had a check for the full amount. They apologized for the way things were conducted and assured me that if I gave them a chance, I would be a valued and satisfied customer. Since that day, I have used Perfect Service exclusively and recommend them to anyone looking for heating and air service. Their response time has been excellent with any issues I've had and when they schedule maintenance, their pretty dead on when it comes to arriving at the appointment time. I would highly recommend Perfect Service to anyone, but I have left the text from '07 up in case anyone seeking a heating and air service comes across the previous owner, David Davis.
