Recent Review: From pricing to final puchlist, the experience was great.  Tommy came out when he said he would to price unit.  A few phone calls later, the installers were on-onsite promptly and did a one day installation as I was told they would.  Installers arrived in clean company marked vehicles, in uniform, wore shoe covers any time they were in the home.  They were professional and courteous.  The quality of the workmanship was great.  Equipment fastened and secured.  Equipment was paird and all pieces matched.  They explained and installed equipment for easy access.  Kept me informed as the work progresssed.  Installed misc. and incidental items such as low voltage cables, exterior power shutoff, exterior conduit that I had not expected without additional charge.  Exterior unit was installed including minor re-grading and some landscape pebbles to make it look like it had always been there.  Debris, old unit was removed and the work area cleaned and sweep.  I highly reccomend Capital Heating and Cooling.  I found and used them becuase of Angies list listing and member reviews.  By the way, a week later, and I am convinced this was the best investment that I have ever made in my home.

Recent Review: The tech arrived on time and spent several hours installing. It got fairly late and he realized that he needed additional materials to provide the best setup but at that point his supplier was closed for the day. He returned on another day to complete the services, explained what he had done and any actions that I needed to perform. Freedom Heating and Cooling also installed my furnace and compressor in the past and performs the regular maintenance service. They are very professional, have accommodated my needs, and have provided excellent service. I would recommend them.

Recent Review: Very well -- ontime, did what they said they would do, and cleaned up well. They vastly improved the comfort in our home and didn't sell us stuff we didn't need. They could have told me our whole house humidifier didn't work and I wouldn't have known...but they didn't -- they just adjusted it and proclaimed it was the oldest one they had ever seen.

Recent Review: I became a Sentry customer 3-years ago when they visited my home to give an estimate for a whole house generator. It included summer and winter maintenance for 2-years after it was installed.  Not only did I purchase the generator, I also changed my yearly contract for heating and cooling maintenance to Sentry after being with another company for 10+ years.  Their techs are skilled and very knowledgeable about what they're working on, polite, friendly and careful to keep your home clean.  The inspections are very thorough and they answer every question I ask . One very important thing -- the Techs are ALWAYS punctual. Just as important to me is the ease I experience in calling to make an appointment.  I've happily found that customer service is not just an empty promise from Sentry and its employees.

We had an issue last fall/early winter. We used Freedom Heating & Cooling due to the customer reviews. We have three HVAC units and initially we were happy with their maintenance and repair work - we then purchased a new HVAC unit for one that had failed. We also purchased during this time period a humidifier and UV filtration system for the main floor unit - I can verify we spent $3271.00 for this component but we actually spent about 7,000.00 during this time period (fall 2013 through early 2014). We initially were very happy with the humidifier and UV filter. However, this year as we needed to use the heating system the humidifier has not worked. We had our "annual service check" and we have also called them due to the issues with the humidifier. We have had them tell us that they ordered the wrong part and they "unplugged" the humidifier pending delivery of the correct filter... I still do not have the correct filter and still cannot use the humidifier.  I am disgusted that I have thrown away over three thousand dollars for a system that does not work. I would not ever recommend this company - they do not stand behind what they sell and install.

The initial quote was a good experience, not pushy or trying to upsell "extras", even the service agreement. The installers were friendly and conscious about keeping our house clean. They had to return for a second day and they left our house clean on both days. 6 months later and the system seems to be running fine.

Our air conditioner started freezing up and going on and off last summer. We knew it was absolutely necessary to have a new one before April. I checked Ange and found that Ethridge had an extremely high rating. Jeff came out on the evening of the 17th and gave us a quote. After discussing it, we decided to go ahead with the installation, especially with the discount and same as cash deal. We called Jeff around 7:00 p.m. to tell him we wanted the installation. Amazingly, they scheduled it for the next day. Mike and Kevin arrived promptly at the time promised. Both were extremely friendly and courteous. They always had covers on their shoes when entering the house. They moved through the installation without problems and seemed very knowledgable and competent with their job. Whe finished, they cleaned up thoroughly. I would certainly use them again and recommend them to friends and family. On Saturday after installation we found water damage to our wall and ceiling. My husband determined that the humidifier drain pipe had not been hooked back up properly. Called Ethridge and they were here within hour. Resolved hooking pipe back up and a few other minor items. Said they would be back the next week to spray Kilz and check damage again. As of February 2, we still have not seen them. Ethridge contacted me on February 5 and made appointment to come back out. They apologized for not coming the next week as there had been a mixup in the office as to when they were supposed to come back. Jeff arrived and looked at the ceiling and determined they would need to contact the Sheetrock person who worked for them to do the repairs. Jeff had barely left the driveway when Tommy called me to get all the information he needed and to set up a time to do the repairs. As of now, I am very satisfied with the way Ethridge is handling this problem. I do not feel like they are ignoring the problem. In fact, they are making every effort to correct the problem to our satisfaction. I would still recommend them to family and friends. Tommy and his wife, Chris, came out to repair the Sheetrock. I must say that Ethridge moves quickly to correct the problem and they use extremely quality people to make the repairs. The ceiling looks good as new. I could not be any more satisfied. Even though an unforeseen mistake was made, you can count on Ethridge to fix it to your complete satisfaction. I will not hesitate tomrecommendnthem to friends and family.
