Recent Review: It was an overall great experience. They had the best pricing of any local company, or big box store. They were also extremely helpful and performed a quick turnaround (~5 days v ~3 weeks for a box store) for the installation. Their demo/install was neat and they cleaned up. They were punctual. Also, the 3rd party plumber they used did an overall great job. This is the standard by which any home improvement project should be measured. I highly recommend them.

Recent Review: Installation was fine.  They installed two sinks we purchased, and three sinks they provided.  In future, I would purchase all my own sinks as theirs have some minor flaws and some small pitting.  Otherwise, all went well.

Recent Review: The gentleman that came out to my house was polite and created a template for my bathroom countertop. He followed my construction er's instructions carefully and when he installed the countertop the next day if fit and was installed correctly. I am very pleased with the outcome. I am not a new customer. This company built and installed my kitchen countertops 15 years ago. I have been so pleased, I didn't hesitate to choose them again for my bathroom vanity countertop. It is a little pricey, but I am sold on their product.

Recent Review: It took a lot of phone tag to finally get the technician to our house, but once here he was efficient and professional and did an amazing job. The chip was in the edge of a white quartz countertop, very difficult to match perfectly, and the repair is absolutely invisible. Not the lowest bid, but worth the price.

Recent Review: It went great! Randy was there at the time he said he would, with one other guy. The two of them got busy and within a few hours I had my new beautiful granite countertop! I was worried about a seam in my countertop, but they did such a great job, I almost can't even see it! This was the best job I had ever seen. Believe me, I had been checking out every countertop I came across to see how the seam was done and there are some people out there professionally installing granite countertops and I would be ashamed of myself for doing such a poor job and calling it professional. I am so happy with my granite countertop and Randy gave me such an awesome price, I have enough money to go Christmas shopping!! Thank you Randy!!

ATOP PRODUCTS INC
These guys rock! received an estimate for the same laminate countertops (WilsonArt HD) from a national big box home improvement store. The national chain quoted a price of $780 installed, but with a European edge to the countertops when I really wanted beveled. Top Products came out and measured my existing countertops. Mr. Hayes arrived on time and worked with me so I didn't have to take any time off work for the estimate. He quoted me the $380 price with the fancier beveled edge. This price included installation. He arrived on time the day of installation. He first removed the old countertops and sinks and the wall mirrors in the bathroom. Once the countertops were installed he rehung the mirror and left the bathroom in clean condition. I still cannot believe I got my beautiful countertops with a higher end edge at $400 less than that blue and red national chain. I'm thrilled with their work and I will use them again when I replace my kitchen countertops!

AOldcastle Surfaces-Atlanta
We wanted to have new countertops installed in our kitchen and decided that silestone was the way to go. After the positive reviews on Angieslist, we decided on Oldcastle. We visited their showroom in Pelham, AL and with the assistance of one of their staff (who was very helpful) we decided on the color of silestone and the type of edgeing. An appointment was set up with a representative who came to our home to measure the countertop space, and since we were also installing an under the counter sink, he took the sink template to ensure the cut-out would be exact. It was determined that 82 sq. ft of countertop was needed. Approximately 12 days later the installers arrived, removed the old countertops and installed the new silestone ones. They also installed the under the counter sink. They were very professional, courteous and did an outstanding job. Everyone we encountered at Oldcastle was professional and courteous. In the future we will be updating our bathroom vanities and Oldcastle will definitely be our choice to complete the work.

Excellent work and materials. He was very pleasant to work with and the countertop was cut EXACTLY to the right size.

FSouthern Stone Inc
You Sign Paypa! First, let me say that this was the WORST experience I have EVER had hands down. If your contractor says that this company will be your fabricator, REFUSE and tell them to go somewhere else! They may be cheaper, but if you have to pay for your kitchen granite TWICE… What was supposed to be an experience I have dreamed of for months, turned into a nightmare I am still dealing with and reminded of on a daily basis because it is there to remind me every morning when I walk into my kitchen. The lack of craftsmanship and pride in work is astounding to me. There are VISIBLE CRACKS in the piece that they refused to address. (YOU SIGN PAPYA!) When we chose the 2 pieces of granite, they were delivered to the shop. Not only did we provide the 2 pieces needed, but we sent 2 ADDITIONAL pieces for them to choose from to ensure that we had the perfect flow. We were grateful to the granite company for offering to send 4 pieces for Southern Stone to choose from, but they refused to even look at the 2 additional pieces sent and said that we had to pay for the pieces (which was not true). All she had to do was look over the pieces and choose the 2 best. Obviously, she didn’t. (YOU SIGN PAYPA!) Not only did she refuse to even look at the 2 additional slabs we sent over, she told my husband that in order to proceed, he had to sign a paper stating that the 2 pieces she chose were acceptable. My husband is NOT the contractor, nor is he a granite expert. However, being the wonderful and trusting husband that he is, he knew that in order for us to be back into our home before Christmas, we had to have a kitchen and he signed the vaguely worded, hand written note that she put in front of him saying that the slabs were acceptable. (YOU SIGN PAYPA!) When the slabs were installed, we excitedly rushed over to the house to see the long-anticipated kitchen and were in total shock at the state of the granite. There were so many problems that I don’t have enough room to write down or show EVERY SINGLE CRACK in the granite!!! (See picture attached) We met our contractor at Southern Stone. As soon as we arrived, she started repeating over and over “YOU SIGN PAYPA!” as if this somehow allowed them to install cracked granite in our entire kitchen! I wonder if they have tried this coercive tactic with other customers. The bottom line is that Southern Stone and Cabinet tried to take advantage of us. Not only did they outright lie about statements and promises made, they also tried to manipulate the situation and place blame on everyone but themselves for serious issues with their workmanship that compromised the structural integrity of the slabs. We offered numerous times to have the owners come and actually see the cracks in the slabs, but they never did. The slabs were unfinished, unpolished, cracked, chipped, and just disappointing! We are moving on to a new fabricator, so if your contractor says that they are using Southern Stone and Cabinet, REFUSE and RUN!!! I hope this review helps someone avoid the heartache we are still dealing with (2 weeks before Christmas), and whatever you do DON’T SIGN ANY PAYPA!

APremier Surfaces
When my wife and I went to the Premier Surfaces showroom, Ashley met us and was very professional in answering all of our questions. While my wife and I looked around the showroom, Ashley prepared two estimates based on two different quartz choices we had made and a sketch and square footage estimate I prepared of our kitchen countertops. When she showed the estimates to us, the estimate for the quartz we preferred was significantly lower than an estimate we had received for the same quartz from another countertop company. After my wife and I decided to use Premier and signed the papers, Ashley explained how the process would proceed. We had to make an initial payment of 50% the first day. Ashley kept us well informed throughout the whole process, both via phone and email. Unfortunately, Ashley called several days later to tell us the Cambria Canturbury Quartz we had selected for our new countertops would take about 4 weeks to be delivered. Later, she called to let us know it would take only two weeks to be delivered. After Premier received the quartz for our countertops, Ashley called to schedule the and quot;templateand quot; date when someone would come to our house to measure our countertops. Randy, the templater who came out, was very professional and helpful to answer our questions and tell us how the measurements would be used to precidely cut out our quartz countertops. Ashley called a day or two later to schedule the and quot;installand quot; date for our new countertops. John and Ryan were our installers who were very nice to answer my questions, very neat considering the amount of work they had to do, and installed our new countertops very professionally. The final 50% payment, which was due on the and quot;installand quot; date, was charged to my credit card by Ashley several days later at my request. Overall, my wife and I could not have been more pleased with the people who helped us from Premier, the process, and most of all -- our new quartz countertops.

AStone Concepts
They were professional in the work.  The one of the kitchen countertops was longer than a slab so there had to be a seam. Only if you are in the field and know to look for a seam would you notice it.  The only problem that existed was due to communication issues the scheduling did not get on the books soon enough so there was a delay involved in the installation.  There was a small slight imperfection in the surface of the kitchen countertop and they made it disappear.
