Recent Review: I had candy on the ceiling in my kitchen which needed to be removed. I had a popcorn ceiling in the kitchen and hallway which needed to be resurfaced. He didn't finish the painting in the hallway. Over all I would say it was B work.

Recent Review: I kept him at my home for two months doing many different projects. He worked with one of the contractors that came out, and we liked him so well that we kept him on. He is a perfectionist and everything he does is high quality. My neighbors have also used him and were very happy with his work.

KYLE THE HANDYMAN
Business Description: When you call or text me, you get ME, when you hire me, you get ME.........though I can come up with extra hands frequently if the project requires it. I have been a solo Handyman for 23+ years, and like doing small repairs and projects; no desire to be the typical General Contractor. My fee is $48/hour plus $3/per mile one way out of Navy Point, am generally too busy to do "free" estimates if it's not pretty close to home. More details at www.HandymanKyle.com, though that site isn't current on some info as I need to learn a new " web platform" in my "spare" time......uff da. There are quite a few websites out there with inaccurate info about my biz , so it's best just to call me and see if I can help you with your situation. Checks, cash and credit card via PayPal accepted.

Round To It Services
Recent Review: Joe showed up on time and worked all day. We had an issue with the drywall that didn't take paint well. It was no fault on him as we had dealt with this ourselves in other rooms. He came back and fixed the spot as soon as the time worked for both of us. He even fixed an area of drywall mud we did poorly for no charge and not in the original scope of the job.

Recent Review: 1st Project - Driveway was installed to accommodate our motor home. Prep necessitated removal of 5 tree stumps. Driveway is 5" thick, reinforced with rebar. 2nd Project - Update of interior included complete demolition of both bathrooms and installation of all new fixtures, cabinetry lighting, exhaust fans, and ceramic tile. All popcorn ceilings were removed and ceilings refinished. All interior doors were replaced, attic access pull down ladders were installed in garage and hallway. Lighting was updated with can lights in living and dining areas, all interior walls, ceilings and trim were painted. 30 Amp RV service was established at the new drive. Kitchen, breakfast area and laundry room was not completed at this time. We decided to wait until our kids were away at school. Mr. Ron Castner and Tabitha Comis were in touch daily. We lived in the house while this work was being done and as expected,it was a bit stressful but the crew was courteous respectful of our privacy as much as possible and did an excellent job cleaning the work area at the end of each day. There were a few errors made but when discussed with Mr Castner or Tabitha they assured us it would be corrected and they were true to their word. There was no discussion when pointed out, just "we'll take care of it/" They did. There attitude was of giving you what you wanted and making sure you were happy with the job. Installation of a new garage door after the completion of the interior project uncovered old termite damage and the door could not be installed until it was repaired. It was necessary to replace the header and all framework from the front to a third of the way into the garage along the walls. Work was completed quickly and the new door was installed. This was a unscheduled repair that they completed quickly. Areas opened were treated and some areas were found to be open to the ground allowing the nasty little critters to get to tasty wood. Their gateway is now sealed.

Recent Review: Excellent work - Todd and Katie do quality work and stand behind their service. These areas were long overdue for remodeling. Several problem areas with the original construction of our house in the remodeled areas that dated back to when our house was built back in 1992 were corrected. We are very pleased with the work done.

Help-Around-The-House
Recent Review: We wanted to remodel our newly purchased condo but didn't think we'd be able to afford all the projects we had in mind because of the limitations of our budget. A couple of local contractors in Gulf Shores had estimated a minimum cost of $40,000. We contacted Help-Around-the-House based on favorable Angie's List reviews and found that they more than live up to their great reputation. Dan Parks and his team worked closely with us from start to finish, not only helping us to stay within our budget but also coming up with ideas that were better than what we originally had in mind. All of the work was of high quality, yet it was done amazing fast.  We couldn't be more satisfied with the final result.  We definitely recommend Dan Parks and the Help-Around-the-House team to anyone who wants high quality work done at a fair price.

Joe did a very good job for us. He came out before hand and gave us an estimate and made suggestions and recommendations about how the painting and repair work should be done. Joe was very cordial and proffessional in the performance of his work. He set up his schedule for performing the work and arrived on time each day. Joe gave us a work time estimate for the competion of his work and he finished on schedule. We are very satisfied with Joe's work and will definitely consider using Round To It Services on future projects.
