The room and retaining walls seemed to be well built but after the first rain we found the walls of the room had not been properly waterproofed and water would seep through the walls and pool on the floor. After this rain one of the retaining walls started to sink down. I contacted the contractor and after a few weeks he came back and took the wall down and rebuilt it. Unfortunately, he did not do anything to improve the wall so the next time it rained the wall started to sink again. Then the other two retaining walls started to sink. From 12/12/13 until 1/14/14 I tried to get the contractor to come back to discuss the problems but after 1/14/14 he stopped answering my calls and texts. I finally had to hire another contractor to repair the retaining walls and he found that the walls had not been built to the manufactures specifications.

CMURPHY BROTHERS NURSERY
Some gutter drains were rerouted. They were not properly done and contractor was called to correct errors. About ninty percent of retaining wall was fine, but the last few rows were sloppy. We had to have them redo a section, and it is still poorly done. We will redo the section ourselves. The yard reshaping and sodding gets a D. The reshaping was ok, but the sod sections were not staggered properly, and many sections were laid on rocks as big as softballs, resulting in a very uneven, shoddy appearance. We spent numerous hours removing the sod, picking up large rocks, and relaying the sod. We have previously used Murphy Brothers with excellent results, but this experience was very discouraging. We won't be using them again.

ASweet Home Repairs and Remodeling
We have a home built in the early 80s and at almost 20 years old things are starting to fall apart and need repairs. I am a religious watcher of DYI T.V. shows. I have even read Mike Holmes book " Make it Right" and that is how I learned how to hire a good contractor. I had contacted several companies before I settled most of which were to busy doing other things when they were suppose to be at my house on a scheduled day to give me a estimate. Then again some would show and I could tell they had no idea what they were talking about. Then there was the 2 that stood out and so I chose Sweet Home Repairs. Mr Denton the owner took the time to discribe each step that they would do and how they would put it all back together. Day 1: They started and they totally dismantled my entire bathroom minus the drywall on the ceiling. Day 2: Started off with them repairing the floor supports because the old tile leaked, re-running new water lines and replaced the unsafe receptical that was located in the lower wall near the bath tub to a safer place near the vanity and with a GFI. Last they installed plywood on the floor Day 3: Installed all new drywall on the walls and concrete board on the floor and walls where tile would go back up. All the concrete boards were sealed with a orange stuff called Kerdie . Day 4: They installed the new bathtub and laid all the tile on the floor. Day 5: Came in that morning and installed all the tile on the tub wall and around the wall of the bathroom. then grouted everything. Day 6: came in installed the pedistal sink , toilet towel bars and new toilet paper dispensor and cleaned everything. By 2 pm they were done and on there way

My Bathroom was a Pepto Bismal Pink, it was God Awful! I could not keep the mold from growing in the tub and shower wall. The bathroom stunk like wet dog. I knew it was time to remodel. I contacted several local contractors and each one seemed to be a idiot or gave me the though of a used car salesman. I finally got a hold of Mr. Denton and Sweet Home Repairs and Remodeling through a friend who found him on Angieslist. I called him set an appointment and finally a contracted to do the work. Mr. Denton and his two men got my bathroom done in 2 weeks. It was a ton of work but now I am so pleased. The entire company was so professional and very clean in how they took care of my house while they tore out the bathroom.

FSoutheast Construction & Restoration
He quoted us a fair price for the amount of work that needed to be done in April 2016. We gave him 5500 dollars down payment, not only did he not start the project but avoided us saying that he was at the hospital with his daughter. After numerous phone calls to get our money back, he has not returned our calls. We have secured legal assistance in the matter. Do not hire this guy! Unprofessional, liar and thief!

ASweet Home Repairs and Remodeling
First of all I want to say I called every contractor on angieslist.com that had a decent rating, I just followed down the list one at a time. The first one was to far away and only wanted to use his plastic bathroom stuff which I was unimpressed with. The Second one was so arrogant and uncooperative he only wanted to design it his way and any suggestion I had he made me feel as if I was stupid. After to many days of waiting he finally called me with his excessive price higher than all the others this was with his coupon he offered on here. I don't know how he even has a business. The fourth one wanted to bring in this person and that person to do things he didn't do and his price was very high almost as high as the second one. I called Sweet Home Remodeling and spoke with Mr. Denton he was my third call. Answered right away, came to visit me the following Saturday and explained everything he could do with his crew. He excepted my few ideas and said he could work with me on what I liked. I signed the contract and he got started when he said he would. Him and his mean were here every day and in three weeks the bathroom was complete minus the vanity's and counter tops which took a additional week. Mr denton and one of his men returned to hook up the sinks that afternoon after they were installed. Mr Denton and his crew demolished my old bathroom and closet to the frame. They moved the wall in the bathroom into the huge bedroom, 36 inches to give the bathroom more room. Then used a beam and jacks to level my bedroom and bathroom so there was no more dip in the floor. they installed two layers of plywood on the floor and used a product called Ditra that allowed him to tile on that. The tub was a drop in jet and a sturdy frame was built to secure it and the granite top around it. The shower had a new product called Kirby that was used in it to help water proof the area from cracks, tile went over it as well. The cabinetry work was beautiful and exactly what I envisioned. Glass doors on the shower were installed by Hendrix Glass and what a wonderful job they did.too. The entire experience was great, my next projects I will use him again.

AD & D Roofing
We had wind damage to our home, primarily front deck and roofing. D & D Roofing was the 3rd contractor we contacted, and they were out here the next day to give us an estimate. They worked with our insurance adjuster to negotiate a price they could agree on. I didn't have to be involved in the negotiations at that point. They started work the 3rd day with a crew of 10. They had to remove the old roofing and the debris left by the storm, which they did efficiently and quickly. Then they reinforced the front decking and built the supporting structure for the deck roof. Then they rebuilt the deck roof and roofed the house with tin roofing. The back deck roofing had some damage from flying debris and they replaced the tin that was damaged. They covered all fascia boards with tin to reinforce the boards and keep the squirrels out. Inside they repainted 2 ceilings and one wall that had water damage. The one wall was painted an accent color so it wouldn't clash with the rest of the walls. The contractors were here every day and it only took a little over a week for them to finish the project.. They were very efficient, hard working, dependable and a pleasure to deal with. They could probably handle any type of construction project, but the above is the extent of what I needed done. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who needs roofing and associated work.
