1st day they came out in the morning to go over their portfolio. I explained what we need for all walls painted, some drywall work, ceiling. Also a couple other areas that were wet by the window. They basically just put paint over and didn't do any of the repair work. On the ceiling, there was wood trim. They hung stuff over the walls and you could see the wallpaper coming thru. In another room, smaller bedroom-it looked like they dropped a paint brush in sawdust and painted directedly onto the wall. There were sharp areas. The bathrooms needed to have vanities and toilet out. They left the lines open overnight. We had leaks from it, soaked the new hardwood floor in the bathroom. They put a shop vac hose over the water line, but that failed. Then, when they finally got the sink in. They hung the medicine cabinet upside down. They argued with me about that. They put in 1 faucet in backwards. When they removed the old toilet, they left it sitting in the middle of the bedroom. Don't understand why they didn't take it outside. All the patch work they did, they didn't do any sanding. You can see the ripples on the walls. It looks like a 2 year old came in and did the work. The door casings-there are gaps in the corners. They filled that with caulking. Now all the door casings need to come back down because everything is too short now. They installed a ceiling fan and broke the glass globe. They tried saying it was broken in the box. I asked why did they put the fan up if the globe is broken? There is a lot of patchwork throughout. We have someone now that has to cut out all of these patches and re-do them. We spent $1200 on flooring. They siad they had done plenty of flooring. They waisted 4 boxes of flooring. There are whole pieces thrown out in the yard with small cuts in it. It's been one nightmare after another with these guys. One of the crew is always sleeping in the truck. One of the guys showed me a picture of his crew passed out. There are gaps in the floors. In the kitchen, they put white corduround molding around the cabinets - for oak cabinets! On the walls, the wood strips were never caulked - they just painted right over it. You can see it thru the molding. Several moldings were bowed and needed to be tacked down. We found a loofa sponge and soap in one of the bathrooms where someone had showered. They said they would come out Wednesday. I don't think they plan to resolve anything. I really don't want them coming back after this.
