Recent Review: My husband got David's name and number from Angie's List. I called first thing Monday morning. David was at another job, but promised to be here in two hours, and would text when he was on his way. He did exactly that. He came and worked on the door, showed me and explained what was wrong and how he would repair it. He completed the work in less than an hour, and the door is functioning better than it ever has. He is a very congenial guy, his rates are very reasonable, and he's a thoroughly professional repairman. I couldn't have been more delighted with the quality and promptness of his work. I give him the highest rating possible, and have his number on speed-dial for future repair jobs that come up.
Recent Review: They arrived on time to complete an estimate. Called them back and scheduled them to repair/replace and install Drywall, vanity, and mirror. They were awesome!!!!! I have been using a lot of professional contractors and these guys beat them all. I'm going to make me a list and have them work on my home for awhile before they get too booked..

When Window World came out to do our estimate in January we were very excited to get new windows. We were told that it the order would be filled in 4-7 weeks and that installation would take a few hours. March comes and they have the windows and so we planned our day out to be home when they were there. The installers come and we find out that half of the order was incorrect, the salesperson had written down three of our windows incorrectly. The installers installed the other windows and the door at that time. We were told that our correct windows would arrive in a few weeks and they would schedule a day then. They arrive and we schedule an installation day. A few days before the scheduled date I got a call saying they had time open up and could install that day. I leave work at 8:30 for what I suspect will be a couple hours of work. The crew finished at 4pm. They had used too much force when removing the old windows and the frame had separated about a quarter of an inch from the drywall. The exterior paint was damaged. They used the wrong caulk outside and inside to seal the covers. They had installed the sheet metal on the outside incorrectly and sloppily. I overheard later that this was this crew's first job, and I only saw a manager come out for 20 minutes to make sure they were doing things correctly. A third crew had to come out to fix this and I was told that they could not fix the inside, only the outside. So a couple hours later all the exterior windows matched and finally looked great. A fourth crew came out to touch up the inside and fixed everything. They uninstalled the windows and moved the frames back to where they needed to be and removed the improper caulking. At this point I was done dealing with them. I will be doing the drywall work and repainting around the windows where it got torn up from the second installation and the removal the incorrect caulk. If you want to get in contact with the company don't bother asking for a call from the local office. I asked for the local manager to call me four times over this whole thing, and only heard from them once when I got in contact with corporate in Atlanta and made them aware of what had happened. I got a $200 discount, which covered the cost of a window. I used 10 hours of vacation to be home while the windows were being fixed, when I was told by the sales rep that the whole thing would take 3 or 4 hours tops. When I tried to contact the local office about some kind of reimbursement they would not return the call. Ultimately, I am extremely happy with the quality of the windows and the door. Our power bill has gone down dramatically. If the order had been correct the first time this would have likely been a fantastic review, but once things started messing up our experience was terrible.

Request for estimate was granted quickly. Estimator was prompt and prices were reasonable. The estimator looked at the closets where the bifold doors would be installed and he looked at the bifold doors which were in a different room. I told him that some of the parts were probably missing and that some of the doors may need new hardware. A fews days later, a worker arrived to complete 3 projects. He was polite. 1. He installed a medicine cabinet in a bathroom. Installation of main cabinet was fine. Did not put in sliding mirror doors for medicine cabinet because he said they didn't fit and he showed me how they did not fit. After he left, I reversed the top and bottom tracks on the cabinet and the sliding doors fit fine. 2. Attached an air duct extender to an air duct in our kitchen. When I showed him the air duct, I mentioned that it would probably need some duct tape around the area where the duct and extender connect. He also cut a rectangular opening in a ceiling tile and attached a vent so that the air can flow into the kitchen. After he left, I removed a ceiling tile and noticed that he had not put duct tape around the connection even though I had mentioned it. Since the duct and the extender are not the same size, air is also flowing into the area above the kitchen ceiling. My husband will have to install some duct tape to finish the job. The part visible from the kitchen looks good. 3. Installed 4 bifold closet doors that another contractor had previously removed in order to refinish our floors. There were 2 sets of doors in 2 bedrooms. During installation, he asked me if I had the pieces for the top of the bifold doors because some of them were missing. I told him I did not have them. He said that House Doctors had only told him to install new hardware on the bottom part of some of the doors. When he finished installing the doors, he mentioned that 2 of the doors did not close well because the carpet had been removed making the doors lower which made the bottom of the doors bump into the molding. I asked if he could put something under the metal part on the floor to raise the doors. He did this for one door but said it would not work on the other one which I accepted, but felt that he should have been able to fix it. A few days later, I decided to call back and ask them to provide hardware for the top part of the doors since we had paid to have the doors installed properly. Receptionist said they would send someone out. The same worker came back promptly with some new parts for the 2 doors that were missing the top pieces. After he left, I noticed that one of the doors makes a rattling noise when closing and that the part he used does not have a plastic piece on the top, but the part he used for the other door does have a plastic piece at the top and it works fine. My husband will have to go out and buy new hardware for the top of the doors. We will also have to cut out a piece of the door that does not close properly so it will fit around the molding and close all the way. I was not happy with the quality of the work and felt that the worker did not put forth enough effort to make sure things were done correctly. I do not like having to finish projects that I paid someone to do.
