Recent Review: Bippen Electric showed up on time and worked two days to installing the Generator, Smart Switches and Mobile Link. They were very professional, very respectful, knowledgeable and never left a mess when work was completed on the first day. They showed up on time the second day and completed the project as promised. This Company is very professional and I would highly recommend them for any electrical work required.

Recent Review: We had tried to get estimates and schedule the work with other contractors - apparently the job was too small for some contractors.  Then we met with Don Thomas who correctly perceived our need, and redirected other on-going work for others so that two of his excellent workers could be dedicated to the project.  Another example of consideration was that every evening the bathroom was returned to a condition that made it useful for basic functions over-night.  First time to meet Don Thomas was on Monday, April 1, 2013 at 11:00am.  Work was started the following day, April 2, 2013, at about 8:00am.  Project was completed on Friday, April 5, 2013.  Needless to say, we were extremely satisfied with the quality and professional manner in which the work was accomplished.  Based on this experience, we plan to have all of our future work performed by Don Thomas Construction.

Recent Review: Work was done promptly, professionally, to a good standard, and at a very good price.  I am not as mobile as I used to be and it's not always easy to find vendors who return your calls, are willing to accept smaller jobs, and do a good job at a fair price.  I will not hesitate to use Pavel again.

Recent Review: Although this was a relatively small job Mr. Miller accepted it and worked it into his schedule which allowed him to work intermittently on the project over a three week period.  There was no huge hurry on my part  because the granite would take approximately three to four weeks to arrive.  He expertly assessed the project, offered what I deemed to be a most reasonable price, and proceeded to execute the job in a very professional manner!  He was courteous, engaging and offered many useful recommendations.  Interestingly, although I offered to pay him when he individually completed each task, he refused to accept payment and suggested I simply pay him when all tasks were completed.  He paid attention to detail and was very precise in his measurements, so much so that  the granite installers complimented his quality work.  BTW, after completing each task Mr. Miller would appropriately clean up the work area - I was extremely satisfied with his craftsmanship!  I highly recommend his services...

FA & B Home Improvements & Repairs
Our dealings with this individual/company could be described as nothing less than a disaster. In short summary: He made a hole in the house, took $300 from us for materials which he never purchased, and disappeared only to return a week or so later to pick up his tools. Read on for more details. After coming to do an estimate in late December/early January, Mr Billy Raines gave us a date he would return to begin work. On the prescribed day, he showed up and stated he was going for materials, but didn't ask for any money. He never returned, and after a few days sent a message stating that a family emergency had arisen which he had to attend to immediately. We gave the benefit of the doubt, and scheduled a new date. That date came and passed, a no show. Against our better judgement, we rescheduled again. This time, he showed up with tools and ladders and proceeded to assess what needed to be done - in the process making a sizable hole in the floor/wall  The hole was large enough you could put your arm through to the outside, and remember, this was in the middle of winter. Mr Raines requested $300 to go buy materials, which we gave him in cash in exchange for a receipt. Again, he disappeared. In the meantime, we hired another contractor to come fix the house. A week or so passed, and he finally contacted us. Mr Raines said he'd been arrested and spent the past week in jail, and was out now and wanted his tools back. Being a nice people, we allowed him to come get them. When we asked about our $300, it was not available, presumably having been used to help get out of jail. Promises were made to repay the $300, but they were never made good. The events described happened in mid to late January of 2013. It's now June 10th, and the money still hasn't been returned. Messages aren't being answered, and at this point it looks like we'll have to take legal recourse to recover the money.
