Recent Review: I couldn't remove the old leaking kitchen faucet due to corrosion of fittings from long term leaks. Service provider performed job satisfactorially, within expected cost, and in a timely manner. There could have been a little more care taken with the new faucet when installing, but nothing was damaged and everything seems to be working fine.

Recent Review: We recently purchased a home that was being sold by a relocation company.  The relocation company had hired Welch's plumbing to do some repairs so the home could be sold.  I happened to be at the home the day they were performing the repairs.  I noticed how professional, neat and hard working they were.  Knowing that we wanted gas run to the house so we could have a tankless gas hot water heater installed, along with several other things, I asked if they could give me an estimate.  Their estimate was thorough and detailed.  When the day came for them to start their work they worked hard and I felt completely comfortable with them in my home.  They not only installed the tankless hot water heater, they ran all of the gas lines to hook up with the line that Alagasco ran from the road.  They helped me coordinate with the gas company so that my gas would be on and we would have hot water by the time we got moved in to the house.  They also hooked up our gas grill, gas starter on the fireplace and our gas dryer.  Our new laundry room did not have a sink and they were able to install this as well.  I told them I was considering getting a new kitchen sink as well, because the one that was in the house was not very nice.  They helped me to save some money on this by installing a new faucet and new drains instead and ended up making my old sink look brand new.  This saved so much money by not having to purchase a whole new sink.  While they were here one of the toilets wasn't working properly and they were kind enough to take a little extra time to fix this for me. They were always very helpful.  Each time they came into the house they were very considerate and put booties on to cover their shoes.  They cleaned everything up behind them and made everything look as if they were never there.  They took all of their trash with them and never left a mess and even hauled off the old hot water heaters!  Brent and John were some of the hardest working, nicest gentlemen we have encountered during our move.  Lonnie, I believe he is the owner, was here on the first day when they started the job.  He was so helpful, explaining everything and making sure I knew exactly what was going to be done.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  Brent, John and Lonnie are the best!

Recent Review: Well, my wife said it all. When they left, not only was everything working again, but it was cleaned up. She was really impressed with workmen who didn't leave her a mess to deal with afterward. Being a guy, I didn't notice that until she mentioned it. I was watching the two men working on various small things we'd been putting off and putting off and putting off, until it was just time to bite the bullet and get it all done. I should have done it long ago. They were quick and effective. They found leaks that had eluded others. They fixed faucets that others just left loose and 'dangling'. We've lived in this town 15 years and I can't believe its taken so long to find this company, but I am glad we did.

Recent Review: They installed faucets. They rerouted piping under kitchen sink after removing a water purification system. This greatly cleared up draining problems we were experencing with our disposal blocking the line with refuse garbage. Installed new waterlevel controllers in both bathrooms. The only problem I am having now is getting them back out to redo the one faucet in the bathroom. The warranty from the faucet manufacturer sent me two new inserts for the faucet and they were both cold water. I had to contact the manufacturer and they sent the correct inserts. I have called a couple of times since receiving the correct inserts but Big O Plumbing has not made it back over here to correct the problem. They promised, as they have already been paid. Other than that I am totally satisified with their demeanor and their work.

Recent Review: The valve wasn’t shut off tight in the hot water heater.  The brand new faucet is working fine.  He didn’t put down a pan to catch the dripping water.  It messed up my floor.  My floor is old and am getting tile put over it.  He should have put a pan underneath it.  I didn’t like that.  There is no problem with the commode.  He is always on time and prompt.  I am pleased with him.  If I am not pleased with the things that he puts in, he will take them back and put in something else for me.  He has his employees to cover their feet when they come in so that they won't track in dirt.  I pay what my company, American Home Shields say that I have to pay him for each visit.

AFOUR CITIES PLUMBING Services
Four Cities were supposed to come to my house one afternoon.   However they did call and state they were running behind (which I completely understood)  I was so happy to see that they took consideration and called.  He came in to install a new faucet, and to service our hot water heater.  He took care of the problem quickly and was very reasonable in his price

Their website says they open at 8 am. I called at 7:30 am (Yeah, I'm that guy) and someone answered the phone. I told them that I had a water leak that I couldn't locate. I told them I checked under the house and shut off all toilets and sinks. My water meter flow indicator showed water was still flowing. I told them I believed I might have a leaking water main.  They said they would come out the same day I called. They showed up about an hour later and went through the house checking for any items that may leak.  Myself I work in the field service business making repairs. One thing I've learned is to never take the customers word on what they said they checked. Customers miss things.  True to good troubleshooting procedure, they went through and checked everything out for themselves; but not before they covered their boots with slip covers.  The next step was for them to check under the house. Before they went under the house they told me that to check a crawl space they would have to charge a service fee for going under the house. They asked if I was okay with the fee. I told them to do what they needed to do find the leak.  They crawled under the house and didn't find any leaking pipes. Thats when they decided to add a shut off valve under the house. One to help isolate the problem and two because everyone needs a shutoff valve under the house for maintenance purposes. They told me there wouldn't be an added charge for the shutoff valve install as the craw space fee would cover it. They had a shutoff valve installed in like 5 minutes.  One of the guys told me he noticed the wall to the front of the house was really wet. He said he suspected that the water leak was right outside the front of the house. He also told me that the water line was running through the HVAC ductwork. (Which was true) He told me how that is very bad and the metal on metal contact is causing the pipe to wear out. One day the pipe would burst.  We went to the front of the house to check. I had already dug up half my yard tracing down the water line and looking for a leak. They gave me three options. One They could dig up the area they suspected was where the water was leaking from and fix just the leak. Two they could finish digging up the yard and would only charge me half of the normal digging fee because I had dug up the yard half way, then replace the whole water main going into the house. Three, if I wanted to save more money they would let me dig the rest of the yard up and not charge me for digging at all. I had done all the digging I wanted to do and I know that with 30+ year old water lines, it's best just to replace them.  They gave me two quotes. $400 and something to dig up the spot and repair the line. $1150.00 and they would finishing digging up the yard and run new Pec line that would be rerouted around the HVAC ductwork instead of through it.  I went with the full water main replacement.  They had to leave to pick up their excavator to finish digging up the yard and take care of some other service calls. They came back a few hours later and got right to work.  I told them I was sorry if I was bothering them just hanging out watching everything they did. I explained that I find this kind of stuff fascinating. They shrugged it off and explained I wasn't bothering them. They told me everything they were doing as they were doing it. As a natural do-it-yourselfer, I loved learning everything they were doing. I liked that they let me hang around and didn't seem to be the least bit bothered with me watching or asking a bunch of questions.  They dug out a trench where the water line was. They found the where the pipe had been leaking. They stopped and asked if I wanted them to continue replacing the water line or just repair the broken pipe. I told them to continue replacing the water line.  They pulled out an old faucet that was attached to the old main line. They came over and said the faucet looked old and worn out. They said they were going to go ahead and replace it. No extra cost for that.  They had the new water line run through pretty quick. One of the guys even called me over to show me how the crimper works on the Pec water line.  They put all the dirt back into the hole, even the dirt I had dug up. They went over afterwards and put hay down to cover up the muddy area.  Great guys to spend the day hanging out with. It cost me a lot of money, but it could have been a lot worse. They made it seem like money well spent. Very professional and friendly. I hope I won't need their services anytime soon. But if I do, I wouldn't have a problem calling them up again.
