DGP Construction
We moved into a home that had gone under a bathroom renovation just prior to the sale. After living in the home for around year we started noticing the drywall and baseboards next to the tub/shower starting to erode. The drywall was crumbling, the baseboards (made with MDF) started to swell, mold started showing up and the floor tile started showing signs of water damage. We contacted the contractor and the first person that inspected it said it was due to water leaking into the back of the tub surround and it would probably need to be replaced, as the damage would continue to get worse. He said he would talk to his boss and see what he was willing to do although he stated he would likely fix the issue as he wants to make his customers happy. We were offered the option of ordering a new tub surround, paid for out of our own pocket and we could pay them to reinstall it. We did not agree with this so the owner himself, Garrett came out to inspect the damage. He stated that the only reason we had these water damage issues was because our bathroom did not have a ventilation fan. It does have a window and the house is over 40 years old and has never had one. He stated all damage was due to this reason. We did not agree and hired a licensed plumber to assess the situation as we knew water had to be leaking into the wall from somewhere. It turns out the shower faucet and diverter were installed completely wrong, according to the manufacturers clear instructions. They were not set back in the wall as they were intended and stuck out 1 1/2 inches too far and the diverter did not sit flush with the shower surround. There was a significant gap on one side, large enough to put a screw driver tool into the gap. This was disguised with caulking. Not only should there not have been a reason to have caulking there, they also used incorrect caulking and it did not hold up, so water was slowly seeping in the crack and causing damage every time someone took a shower. Extremely disappointing to buy a home with a new renovated bathroom and have it deteriorate in just over a year. Obviously they did not use a licensed plumber to install the plumbing fixtures and have not offered to repair and replace all the damaged areas on their dime. If you hire this company, please be very aware of who is actually doing the work in your home, and don't expect them to come back and fix any errors they may make.

This is our second time bring Dave and son into our home for work and again they nailed it! We did a full remodel of a bathroom and it turned out so beautiful! There is a lot of uneven and sub-standard work that they had to work around to get things to be done right and look nice and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome. All this for a reasonable price. I also appreciate how Dave pays attention to the little details to make sure everything is done right. We call Jensen Construction for any of our home repair needs, big or small!

Chuck was an excellent contractor. He was always upfront and allowed me to do some demolition to save some money. He also allowed me to buy his materials when he gave me a list so I wouldn't have to pay him an hourly rate to pick up materials that I could pick up. Sometimes he still had to stop at Lowes but he didn't spend much time there. I also did the painting which is easy stuff to save money and move the project along so he could do what he did best--carpentry construction, install the shower pan, tile the shower, install the vanity, and tile the floor. He never assumed anything. He was concerned the way a craftsman should be and he called me when he had a question or a problem. I usually deferred to his judgement. Chuck always had a few ideas or techniques that would actually save time and remind me why I hired a professional, like using certain materials that were better in the long run. He was trustworthy. I was not around during most of his work, because I work, and there was never a problem with it. He was also creative. He helped redesign the bathroom. He figured out how to make the heat vent come out the bottom of the vanity so we didn't have to cut another hole in the floor. He also tiled beautifully in general. He even tiled with tile molding around the bullnose divider wall better than I imagined anyone could. He was not fast and he wasn't slow. He did solid work and is a nice person who got along with my wife and family. I gave him all A's, except one B for price. His hourly rate is within range of the other good ones. But these projects still get expensive. If you want it done right you have to spend the money. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends.

The bathroom remodel was great. The bathroom was taken apart and couldn’t be used. After they finished everything was taken care of and it was all work able and looked amazing.

We are very pleased and inspired to provide input on Timberline Maintenance & Construction. First, we can tell you that it?s difficult to find a contractor that takes pride in their work and it takes research, listening to others experiences and Angie?s List. Our project, remodeling a bathroom and we were fortunate to find Timberline Maintenance & Construction and the owner Chuck Shelley.  Work requested, install cement board on floor and walls, finish sheetrock, set tub, tile floor, tile tub area, which meant almost a complete tear out, less some walls. From the onset, Chuck provided a clear concise proposal and step by step plans to complete this two week project.  He was very methodical and patiently worked with us on our ideas and changes throughout the project.  Each day he arrived on time at the time he indicated and never left our project during the entire process.  For this customer, that?s one of the most important things a contractor can do, other that provide a professional job. Chuck is professional, considerate, respectful, and just a pleasure to work with.  He?s very meticulous and his work performance indicates just that.  He masterfully completed our bathroom on time and the finished product is absolutely amazing!  We are more than pleased; it?s just what we wanted and couldn?t be happier! We would, without hesitation recommend Chuck for your next project, as we plan to seek his services again on ours.

Dan completed a bathroom remodel for me on a very short timeline.  Work included demo of existing bathroom,  new stone tile floor, replacing wall mount toilet, installing 2 pocket doors, drywall repair, painting and coordination with the cabinet maker / corian installer.  Work was outstanding as usual!  Dan has done a lot of remodel work for me, and continues to be my go-to-guy for all home repairs and upgrades!

We had 2 1/2 baths remodeled. Overall we are happy with how bathrooms turned out. Working with Ted and his son started off very well; but as job progressed there was a definite lack of communication and many misunderstandings. Ted is very much into following installation 'guidelines'; however they are just guidelines and every home is different and poses different challenges. In the end it seemed that we had to point out several little discrepancies with his work and it became very frustrating at times. He prides himself on being very neat and cleaning up after himself. We did not see that in our home. We have gone through interior remodels before in other homes we have owned; and we did not see a lot of 'common sense' when it came to working within the home and creating vapor barriers or even cleaning up areas where he was cutting tile/flooring. A lot of this could have been avoided if planned differently. Also, towards the end, felt like he was 'nickel and diming' costs. Charging costs of changes on us due to lack of communication as well as transporting costs (which he never mentioned). Again, this could have been avoided if communication would have been better. I am thinking Ted's experience would be better suited for outdoor projects like building a deck versus interior remodeling.

The work was completed on time and in a professional manner. When the wrong sink was delivered by a different company, Affordable Construction provider took care of the problem and the correct sink was installed. I would definitely use this company again.

As with a previous major addition to our home also done by this contractor, the bathroom remodel went smoothly and easily, with the contractor doing everything on time, on budget, and with the excellent craftsmanship you should expect from a quality contractor.
