Recent Review: Our experience with Arctic Lights Electric could hardly have been worse. Switches were put on the wrong sides of walls - in one case we would have had to enter the bathroom in the dark, open a closet door, and fumble past clothes to find the light switch, for example. When it came time to install the stove we were sent a new apprentice who stumbled along for two days before our lead carpenter insisted she had to go. She later showed up after work hours, drunk and wandering through our house. Our load panel was mislabelled, repeatedly, and it took numerous times and severe words with the owner to finally get it fixed. The company's prices were ridiculous, and we would have fired them if our contractor hadn't been concerned about his relationship with the company. Our complaints were never dealt with - the only time we saw the owner was when he came by to demand payment and pysically threatened me. The job never was completed correctly, but we had to pay them in full to avoid a legal battle instigated by the owner (anyone considering using this company should check the state legal records, if and when you have a lot of time). By the way, we were generally pleased with the other sub-contractors we hired, and our experience with Arctic Lights Electric was by far the worse in our whole multi-year project.
