Recent Review: Fan was worn out, offered two options, their preference was to replace with vendor made fan, might take longer to ship up but would be the best fit or replace with another vendor and may not fit as well.  We opted to go with their recommendation and got the vendor replacement model.  Since we were not in a rush we saved money on shipping to AK and the new fan fit perfectly and runs great.  Very honest and sincere employees.

Recent Review: Serviced my gas fireplace within 24 hours of the call. Coated the floors with paper. Cleaned the fireplace. Advised me regarding my nearly dead blower, plus additional tips to improve fireplace performance. We agreed to replace blower. He had a new one with him, so, no waiting. Entire replacement/service took about an hour. He cleaned all up and vanished into the night. Very professional and pleasant. I called with a question in the next day, and, even though it was his one day off, he returned the call and resolved my query. Bill Yeager was great to deal with. I recommend him highly

Recent Review: Dave and David did a nice job tearing out a huge bay window, enlarging the hole and installing a new, straight window.  Great job on all the finish work, happy with the result.  They also tore out my fake rock wood burning fireplace in preparation for a new gas fireplace to be installed.  Tough work with several snags but they handled them.  Appreciate their flexibility working with me as I decided on new fireplace details.  Dave made the new mantel on site, very nice!  While up on the roof they noticed a portion of my back roof was in very bad shape, so they made room in their schedule to replace that with something much better than we had. Their construction knowledge makes them very capable to handle many types of jobs. Thought they were very fair in their price, and didn't gouge me with add ons. Dave is very meticulous in keeping receipts so you know what you're paying for.  In the end, left things tidy and swept out the garage where they had done lots of cutting.

Recent Review: Unlike other fireplace store, Bellevue Fireplace is willing to send their technician over to review our house to ensure it's feasible to purchase the fireplace before the installation. The technician is pretty knowledgeable, and able to tell us what potential issue may arise if we installed the fireplace at the desired location. However, their price is a bit higher that what we budgeted for, so didn't go with them.

Didn't learn our lesson the first time. A couple of years ago bought a furnace Groupon from the firm. Hired help showed up and did a sloppy and rushed inspection. Was there for less than 10 minutes and didn't clean up afterwards. I like to support local business, so in August (2016) I called and talked to Tony. He explained that he no longer used hired help, as they turned out to be too undependable. I thought I would take a chance and booked an appointment for Tony to take a look at our gas fireplace that wouldn't light. Tony arrived on time and completed a routine inspection. There was nothing actually wrong, I just didn't know how to light the pilot light. Tony showed me how, showed me that the fireplace worked and then turned it of. At my request, the left the pilot light burning. Total time less than 15 minutes. I was a bit surprised when he presented a bill for $148.00, less 10% Angie's list discount. When I questioned it, Tony replied it was his standard one hour call out charge. I than inquired if I was paying for an hour of his time, would he mind also doing a furnace inspection. Tony was very agreeable and did so. Inspection was through and he was helpful in showing me a few things to watch for. Total time spent at the house about 45 minutes. We didn't actually use the fireplace until the end of November. When we tried to turn it on for the first time, it wouldn't light. The pilot light was burning (as it had been since August), but the fireplace would not light. I called Tony and identified myself and the work he had done. He said he didn't recall doing the work, but was initially helpful and walked me through a few trouble shooting steps, with no success. Tiny then indicated he couldn't really say why it wasn't working. When Tony's over the phone troubleshooting didn't work, I indicated I would appreciate a courtesy , rather than service call when he was passing by and happened to have a few extra moments. At that point, Tony became very rude and belligerent. He told me not even to go there, and reminded me that I had given him a bad Groupon review, that I had balked at the paying the bill for showing me how to light the pilot light, and then asked him to spend the remaining time doing a furnace inspection. At that point, I commented that it sounded that what he was saying was that we were out of luck. He replied. that's right. Evidently Tony did recall the work his firm had done both times. Bottom line....Tony is responsive to new new customers, and very helpful, and Can't really speak to the quality of his work, as what he did worked one time, didn't work the second time and the option to have it corrected cut off. Tony can easily become very rude and belligerent when questioned about the charges for his work and his willingness to stand behind the quality of his work. Customer beware, if you question Tony be ready for weather a rude and belligerent response.

I was very impressed with them. The fireplace was clean. From the beginning, they were professional, and understanding of my situation being so far away and trying to schedule somebody to open the house because there was no rentee in there at the time when I was trying to get this done. They were very punctual. They’re very helpful, informative, and just overall great.

This company is awesome. Just having moved back into the area it is nice that I know of a reliable company I can call if things go awry.

| |I called Central Plumbing prior to booking Moore.  The service desk at Central was disinterested, a "take it or leave it" attitude. Specifically, she refused to take notes on the location of the condo within the condo development  until I challenged her on the time and transportation fees figured to/from their location. With a one hour minimum charge, any extra time that their driver used finding the condo after the GPS directed them to the development reduced the amount of time used for actual repair. Moore's minimum charges and fees for transportation are a flat rate, plus they were happy to take additional information. | |Moore Heating installed our new heating system about a year ago (that also included a tankless water system). The total cost was about $10,000.  They were great! We found a discount from Costco just as they began their work, and they discounted their bottom line, even though they were already the low bid for our work.  They've checked with us several times to ensure that the systems are working properly.  The one time we received an error message, they returned our call within the hour and offered to send someone out for no cost even though it was a Saturday! As the situation turned out, the system resolved the error message (love the computer circuitry!) so no one had to make the trip.  Still, they were willing to come on a Saturday.  That's a "thumbs up" in my book!
