I called and left a message on a voice machine. Warren returned my call and was persistent, leaving several voice messages for me. I contacted him back and met him on the same day to get an estimate for the work I wanted done. A couple days later, Warren emailed me an estimate on Feb. 18, 2014. My husband and I had gotten other estimates for the same construction projects and Teeple Cabinets was a bit higher than the others. We decided that the quality of workmanship (custom) and materials used seemed superior to the other contractors who had given us estimates so we hired Teeple Cabinets and Construction to do the work. We were given a construction start date of March 10, 2014 and and installation date of March 17, 2014. Construction was delayed by a little over a week, which was disappointing. However, on March 31, 2014 the crew showed up at my home and I quickly found that the workmanship was well worth the extra wait. The two man crew answered all my questions, were very friendly, and extremely professional. Every piece of wood material used was custom made for my home out of oak and maple. The installation of the fireplace surround came with some complications, as it had been pre-built in the shop and did not fit completely. Jim, was quick to find a solution and on the same day came back with a perfectly fitted surround for my fireplace. Unfortunately, the trim around the hearth was not going to work as expected so the crew informed me that they would need to come back next week at which time they would install custom trim to match the new surround and put the finishing touches on the fireplace surround. I expect that this project will be perfectly finished by next week. Gary installed the crown molding in the two bedrooms and did an excellent job and all went without incident. Because of the complications with the fireplace, construction went into April 1, 2014. On this day, the crew installed the crown molding around the cabinets. I had been told by another contractor that if I wanted a perfect color match to my Merillat cabinets, that I would have to order the molding directly from Merillat. Since all the crown is custom made, Warren at Teeple construction offered a different option. He felt as though they could stain the oak and get a match. I was a little hesitant, but trusted the experts. So glad I did! If this isn't a perfect match, I don't know what is. I am extremely happy with the workmanship, attention to detail, and ability to adjust to complications. The crew took pride in a job well done and I appreciated that. Hats off to Teeple Cabinets! They exceeded my expectations:) I have several other projects in the future planned. I can't wait to see what Teeple Cabinets can do for my home!!
