They did an OK job installing the tub and shower surround, however I had to take a lot of time making adjustments after the fact (not to shower but to framing). They had issues installing the plumbing and had to keep shutting off the water to fix leaks. The recommended shower was expensive vs other surrounds and not one I would have chosen if I could have seen it first. The did not show up as scheduled to install the valves and do the deck work so I went with another contractor to do that work.

The deck foundation is great. The stairs to the deck are great. The decking boards are spaced so close together that they didn't drain. It's taken fall, winter, and summer for the boards to shrink enough to drain water. The bench seats are about 4" too high, as even a 6-foot man's toes barely touch the deck. The seats are not deep enough, as they cut you off at the knees when sitting and dangling your feet because of the height. The support boards are not faced for ease of snow shoveling. The bench backs are too high and not angled back enough for comfort. The 2x6 bench beams have split where they are screwed to the floor. Chad Staats said he would fix the seats last October (2018), and I waited on this review until he fixed the problem. It's now 8 months later (August 2019), Chad still is "too busy" to fit me in, and in fact doesn't even answer my emails, so I have to find a contractor that really knows what they are doing to fix this problem, at a considerable cost to me. Apparently, this was his first deck with benches. No, I would not hire Perfection Home Repairs, Chad Staats, again, unless he had evidence of previous experience in what I was hiring him for.

I had a small deck suspended off my living room and no access to my back yard. Jensen Construction added a deck and rails the full length of my house, added stairs that allowed access to my backyard, and stained all. They were prompt with their work and were able to start a few days early. It was a much larger project that first anticipated, but they still finished on time. No details were left out, if it didn't meet their standard they started over to make sure it was perfect. Would use them again in an instant!

Mike and his team built a veranda/trex deck (aprrox 20x18 feet) on the back of our house with railings. The end product is beautiful. Mike returned my calls in a timely manner and was honest about pricing and opinions on what would look better (regardless of price).Very satisfied with service would hire again.

Nathan was great! He was on time to our appointment, gave us a reasonable quote and was able to use local products for the cable rail system. He installed the deck right before Christmas and his team did a great job of not leaving anything behind. We're going to use him again for some indoor contracting that we need done.

Very polite and fast service. Arrived when they said they would and communicated well throughout the project. Put a great deck on the back of our condo and were scheduled to put a screen door on the back. We ordered the wrong size door and they agreed to come back at a later date to install. When the door came in they came right away and had to do some custom work to make the door fit. Went above and beyond what we expected. Highly recommend for your projects. Trustworthy and professional.

Chris' estimate was WAY lower than anyone else's and he was flexible in size. Everyone else wanted to make a huge deck and only gave us estimates for a big deck - we were more concerned with cost than a monster deck. He was professional, genial and the deck was done in one day. They came to remove our old deck and put in the sonotubes one day. The next few days it poured rain. When they came back to put up the new deck, it was completed in a day. It looks great and cost SO much less than the other estimates. It isn't flashy but is functional and I think it looks gorgeous!
Recent Review: I am very pleased with all the work Ted has done for me. He is very conscientious and thorough making sure that all work done was up to local code( I have an older home). He wants his customers to be completely satisfied with his work and if you find any problem, he is quick to return to see that it is taken care of. I have appreciated his trustworthiness and will call him for any future jobs.

Recent Review: Martin came highly recommended. He was very open to our choices, and began punctually. When he discovered a structural issue that wouldrequireahighercost and Municipal permits, we agreed. He resumed the work, cared floral of the requirements, and left usa beautiful new look.
Recent Review: Our nearly 20 year old back deck was tilting from possible frost heave through the years, and railings were coming loose. We needed it replaced. We received an estimate from Steve Thomas in the fall 2012, but weather prevented further work. We called in the spring 2013, and we were flexible for a start date, given weather and other jobs his crew had. The deck is about 10x20 elevated about 7 feet above ground in the back of our house. The construction work lasted one week. Demolition was done quickly and very professionally the first day. All old wood, etc. was removed and the area policed at the end of the day. Upon demolition, several rotten side boards were found that we agreed should be replaced. Construction lasted through the week. The construction was very well done, with screws, rather than nails, waterproofing boards connected to the house, sufficient lumber where needed. I was extremely pleased with the crew: Carlos, who took the old deck down and was the lead on construction; and Jeremy, who worked on the construction. Both are very professional, conscientious, and first rate at their work. I was very pleased to have them. Steve Thomas brought materials, checked with me and the crew during the day concerning any questions, and removed the demolished pieces. Deck staining took place about a week later, after the new lumber dried a bit. The deck looks so much better than I expected, and much more than the previous deck when it was newer.
Recent Review: It was okay, I wasn't exactly pleased with it. I had these rubber palettes on my back stairs and they heat up in the winter. The only gripe I had was that the guys threw them aside and didn't do anything with them. They just left them lying there. Someone had to put them back on the stairs and I am not sure they are working as good as they were. My deck was looking pretty sleazy, and I didn't know if it needed a patch. It was expensive, but I knew it was going to be expensive. They did do a good job, but there were a few minor details that they didn't do. The price was acceptable.
