Reviews in Tampa Bay for Window Insulation
Truck arrived within estimated time window. Insulation R value increased from R-16 to R-30. Took about 90 minutes and crew cleaned up any spillage after. Very knowledgeable and professional. Cost is after TECO rebate which saved over 50%.

They checked out water heater, windows, insulation, and other parts of the home. They recommend an electrician who installed a timer on our water heater and film on our windows. They were very good, on time, professional, and honest. They didn’t try to sell me anything that I didn’t need. I am very happy with their services.

Great. Showed up within 2-hour window, were willing to wait a few minutes as I had to drive to pick up my child, and did the job efficiently.

The gentleman arrived on time and was also very friendly and professional. We've been in our home 15 years and figured our insulation rating was going to be extremely low however it was determined that our rating was pretty good and he didn't think we needed additional insulation. He recommended that we contact Duke Energy to ask about additional rebates for a duct seal test, windows and a new AC unit since they're pretty old. I really appreciate him being forthright and honest. It would've been so easy to take advantage of the situation considering the age of our home and the length of time it's been since the insulation was installed. I highly recommend Time Insulation due to their integrity, professionalism and great customer service. If we ever have insulation needs in the future we will definitely be calling Time Insulation to handle the job!

They were very prompt and came, measured the nine windows and showed me numerous samples of window coverings. After selecting one and they gave me the price and said that it would be two to three weeks for them to receive the shades. Three weeks later they contacted me and scheduled the installation. The installation went very well and they adjusted the curtain closures on the window. They cleaned up after the installation. They were very professional!

I decided to go with Time because of the Duke Energy rebate and their track record on Angie's list. The salesperson was nice and professional and offered me several options for my insulation needs. When I called to schedule an appointment, the older woman on the phone, I believe her name was Tammy, was very short with me about being overbooked (no doubt due to the Duke Energy affiliation) and that I had to wait 3 weeks for an appointment. Since I was doing other work in the house I was willing to wait. Tammy then called me back a few days later because they realized an error in my scheduling, that I would need 2 appointments; one for the removal and one for the install. Tammy made it seem like it was my error for not being clear about what I selected but I wanted the work done so I dealt with it and scheduled the 2nd appointment. I was told that I would be given a 2 hour window for arrival the day before. I received a reminder message call but no window. I'm not living in the house yet so I called early in the morning to find out a window and was told I was wrong and that I was called. Then Tammy realized her mistake and stated that they don't give time frame windows for removal, only installs. I explained that they'd have to call me before they arrived because I didn't live in the house and she became increasing short with me about my lack of communicating this earlier and she would call me back and hung up. I didn't receive a call back until the workers called stating they had arrived at my house. They were professional and unfortunately believed they might have found asbestos so they couldn't continue with the work until it was resolved. I asked what next and they pretty much stated that I was on my own and that the official position of the company is for me to find my own embankment company to remove before rescheduling the work. When I called as a courtesy to relay what had happened to the office, I received, you guessed it, more rude treatment from Tammy who cut me off and stated my file on hold until I resolved the issue. No offer to provide referral information or to help resolve. I will not be calling back to reschedule.

Whole process was outstanding. Person that came out to give quote was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of info to make decisions. He didn't try to up-sell but only what we should get installed. Helpful on information for the energy credit from the electrical company. Scheduling was a breeze and they followed up with a call one day before the installation to provide a time window. Installers were very friendly, did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Perfect!

DEALING WITH DANIEL INSULATION WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT STARTED WITH THE RECEPTIONIST. SHE WAS NOT ONLY NICE (WHICH YOU'D EXPECT) BUT ALSO KNOWLEDGEABLE. THE CREW CALLED WITHIN THE TIME WINDOW OF THE SCHEDULED SERVICE TO LET ME KNOW THEY WERE ON THEIR WAY. THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND WERE FRIENDLY. THE JOB WAS DONE EFFICIENTLY AND CORRECTLY. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN IF I EVER NEED INSULATION. MY RATING OF ''C'' FOR PRICE JUST MEANS THEY WERE AVERAGE AND DOESN'T IMPLY ANYTHING NEGATIVE. THEY WEREN'T THE CHEAPEST QUOTE I HAD, OR THE MOST EXPENSIVE. IT WAS FAIR.

Reece builders / windows & the installers did a great job. Work was done in ONE day. They were professional & polite. Very good experience.
Recent Review: Our unexpected service! We’ve been doing a lot of home upgrades lately and our experience with “ArmorTech Windows and Door” has been wonderful. It’s expensive to install category 5 hurricane safe windows in our home. But, with 8 grandchildren visiting often and clearly living in a time when Cat5 storms will soon be the norm, we wanted the extra protection and savings with electric bills. We expect good service. We got Great service. Our sales person, Kevin, was informed, personable, and presented a no pressure information visit with us. Our installation team, Brian and Chad arrived exactly on time each morning, helped move furniture away and back, completely cleaned up after each work day, and were funny, hard working and professional. When we realized the small bathroom window did not have the glazed glass we requested we called “ArmorTech Windows and Door” and were pleasantly surprised to hear, “we are so sorry….our mistake, it will be corrected when we return to install your doors next week.” With all our current home renovations we’ve had some troubles to put it lightly…and not once have we heard the other contracts take responsibility. Blame is always deferred to a “sub contractor” or how we the customer didn’t understand how it works, or we the customer didn’t make “that” request clear when setting up a date for work to start. This is simply a well managed business. “ArmorTech Windows and Door” have arrived when they said they would, kept us informed on the process, and the owner Dave Yount even stopped in to double check measurements when he happened to be in our area. We are so pleased with “ArmorTech Windows and Door” and would recommend them highly to friends and family.
Recent Review: Technician called to say he was on his way. He looked at our AC unit and listed some potential issues. His explanations were a little confusing. They seemed to be helpful and he even suggested we have the insulation in our attic looked at before doing anything else. I appreciated the honesty, but by the end of the conversation, 10 minutes later or so, it was advised that we look into getting new unit. We went from the freon levels being to high to having our insulation looked at to a new unit in about an hour and a half. I gave them a good rating because the service was prompt and quality, and the technician was pleasant and helpful. Overall we could have done without the winding sales pitch road but the info provided up to the purchase of a new unit was helpful.
Recent Review: The whole thing was done exceptionally well. They did it on time. We weren't here when they did the work. Everything came out just perfectly. It was just the way we wanted. We were very happy with them.

Recent Review: TLS came out on time within the window they initially gave me. Unfortunately, one of the guys accidentally hit a recessed light can with the hose which caused the can to push through the ceiling damaging the drywall and texture of the ceiling. They called Seth and he came out within an hour to inspect the damage. He offered me two options: 1. I could have him fix the ceiling and then finish the insulation job for the quoted price. 2. He would personally come out the next morning at 8 am to fix some bad duct work that was badly hampering air flow to my guest bedroom and then blow insulation to get me to R-38+. He would do all of this for FREE! I of course took him up on the second option. He was extremely apologetic and emphasized that this was not a common occurrence and that they are very careful. But he wanted to make it right and he certainly did. It is hard to find professionals that do business this way anymore. I was very happy with how courteous and professional Seth and TLS were to me. I later hired a drywall professional to fix the ceiling and a few other spots that needed repair for $150. I'd like to say that I made out in this situation but I hope this story tells you of how amazing and rare this company is to it's customers. I hope they get your business. You will not be disappointing. Reputation is everything in business and TLS strives to have an immaculate one. I can't recommend them enough. Thank you again for a great experience during an uncommon circumstance. I will be calling them when my A/C goes out as well.
