As much as I love to be the curmudgeonly complainer, I also make a POINT of letting people know when I've had a great customer experience. This post is one of those, particularly for those of you who live in the Sarasota area. As a woman living alone, and with the same electrical knowledge as your average garden slug, it was not without trepidation that I faced repairs to my home after a lightning strike other other day, which burned out my internet service, my invisible fencing system, and parts of my laundry room, lanai, and kitchen. I was afraid to turn anything on, and lost a bit of sleep watching for any sign of fire in my walls. I was recommended to Precision Electric Company by my plumbing vendor (Blue Ribbon), because I have found the latter to be fast, efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, and --most importantly-- trustworthy, even for clients like me who could easily be led down the proverbial garden path. I am DELIGHTED to say that Jim and Bob from Precision arrived this morning, spent less than an hour at my house, put everything to rights, and at a cost that actually shocked me -- in a GOOD way. I was really dreading what it was going to take out of my budget, and was so pleasantly surprised that I'm thinking of taking myself out to lunch to celebrate. THANK YOU, Precision, Jim, and Bob -- I will absolutely NOT HESITATE to call on you again as needs arise, nor to recommend you to others looking for great work and a great customer experience.
