What a waste of time! Sales person was on time but did not bring flooring samples (said he couldn't find them) and his estimate, which he said he would mail, never arrived. He didn't follow up with a call to A) see if estimate had arrived or B) schedule time to show samples. Clearly he wasn't interested in my business.

The response was good, polite caller, but they don't work with cork. As cork is getting more popular, was surprised. It's relatively easy to install, so just wondering why?

Didn't have samples of white/pickled-looking cork flooring in stock so they ordered some. In the wrong colors. By that time (about a week after my first call), I had met with other contractors and made my decision. Clearly, this company doesn't work much with cork.

Disappointing. Had only 2 samples of color I was interested in. Estimated price was the highest of other bids. Proposal was short on details; no breakdown of labor vs. material cost or even square footage of apt. Service would probably be good because salesman said they were serious about keeping their high Angie's rating. I did not seriously consider them because cork flooring selection was poor.

Company did not have samples of cork flooring but would order them if I wanted. Instead, I went to places that day where I could see samples.

The quality of their products is excellent. They had a wonderful array of choices. The showroom was attractive and just loaded with choices. I dealt with one salesman, Jim, for a number of visits and he was more than up to the task of my many challenges. The cork flooring is a really a great product. The cork is warm, soft, and quiet which makes it perfect for a bedroom. The cork is very modern and comes in multiple colors, not just dark wood. One of my bedrooms had an off-white cork installed in it that is just wonderful. I felt the prices were not bad and I have recommended them a number of times to people.

The installation guys were fantastic. They were very professional. Raymond, the salesman, was very helpful. It was just a good experience. The cost included the flooring, removing the old, installing the new, and special underlay padding. We set a date per my request, I thought the painters would be done, they were not but the flooring gentlemen were so accommodating.

I'd had a flood in my house due to a faulty icemaker in my freezer. I had tile floors over much of the house and laminate and carpet in the bedrooms. Eric Hurst hired a team to do the demolition of the tile and to prepare the floors. They did a great job doing dust control prior to running their machines that raise a lot of dust. They had to move furniture as the house was in use. The installation crew came in next and removed the baseboards and installed the underlayment and new cork floors as well as the new baseboards. They installed transitions at the doors and did a very professional and neat and tidy job, also having to move furniture as they worked around it. They are incredibly good workers, very prompt and courteous. I would hire flooring.org again in a heartbeat.

CPinellas Floor Covering Inc
Overall, mixed. Project began well and on time in mid-October 2009. All was completed within a week except for one T-molding at one door. Jamison said he'd get the molding and finish the job the following week when scheduled to be in the building for another owner's project. When that project was delayed for 2 months, so was mine. I called to complain in early Jan 2010. We met, but in the passing months he had forgotten what needed to be done, brought the wrong piece, then complained about what it would cost to buy the right piece. Just to get the project finished, I agreed to split the cost with him. Part was ordered and installed within a few days. I was happy with the final result. This incident was my biggest complaint but there was another incident that caused some concern. During the inital installation, Jamison told me that the AC handler seemed to be leaking, that he may have brushed against it while working. When I said something like: "That's what your insurance coverage is for," he laughed and said "No, that's what your homeowner's is for." I wasn't joking but luckily there was no leak so this issue didn't go any further. I suspect there'd have been a major battle over who would pay. Before using this company again, I would not pay the final bill until the job was complete and would clarify in advance who pays what in case of damages.

This was a bizarre experience! I spoke with George re: my interest in having white/pickled-look cork flooring installed. He said he didn't have samples in stock but would call me when they came in. He then proceeded to call daily (or more) for nearly a week to say the samples hadn't come in yet. When they finally did arrive, none were the color I was interested in. Clearly, this company doesn't do much work with cork.
Recent Review: Tony is very professional and easy to work with. He had done the original hardwood floor installation, and I was happy with his work, so I called on him when I had water damage to the floor and he replaced the damaged portions.
Recent Review: Bill, the owner of the flooring company, did an outstanding job of explaining the products and making recommendations. Our floors are beautiful! We will do the other part of our house in carpet on a later date. Or maybe cork, I haven't decided.
Recent Review: We were so lucky to have hired American Cabinet Granite Floors. From the moment we walked into their showroom we knew this was the company we wanted to do our remodeling. Joe, the owner, was always prompt in answering our questions. Mitzy, the office manager, was always courteous and professional. Angie, their interior designer, was a joy to work with. Last but surely not least, is Carl whom you will see the most. You won't find a more hardworking man in your life. Joe also has a great plumbing, flooring, and painting team working with him. I am truly grateful that we hired American Cabinet Granite Floors. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Recent Review: GREAT!Remodeling a kitchen and bathroom can be overwhelming but Kitchen Solvers of the Gulf Coast exceeded our expectations in quality and design. William, Shane and their team were amazing…on time and within budget. We always knew when and who was going to show up. They went out of their way to do all the details that make it look so good. We updated our outdated kitchen and bath with all the conveniences that we could fit in. New cabinets, a drawer microwave, pull out shelves, deep drawers, lazysusans, LED lighting and quartz countertops. We also put in new waterproof luxury plank vinyl flooring through most of the house. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants quality and personalized kitchen and bath remodeling.

Recent Review: We were completely satisfied with the work and the people at Yeager. Mike gave us an accurate estimate and offered several types and colors of flooring for our 2,000 sq. ft. condo. We wanted the new flooring installed throughout the entire condo except for the bathrooms and laundry room. We chose laminate, which is a "floating floor" - not glued to the underfloor, but installed on a layer of cork lining. Be sure you understand how this flooring looks and how it feels when you walk on it before choosing it. We like it a lot, but you may prefer more solid tile, which costs a lot more. The workmen could not have been more professional or courteous. They answered many questions as they did the work, cleaned up everything, recommended cleaning products (water should not be used on a laminate floor), etc. We found a couple of the trim pieces along the doors a bit loose and the workmen came back and fixed them right away. Replacing an entire floor is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and it's not something you want to cut corners on if you are going to be living in the place for years to come.
