Recent Review: Before giving me a quote Glenn came out to my house to test my water. He spent plenty of time, did several tests, and answered a lot of questions. He was very responsive to follow-up email questions I sent him as well. When I decided to go through with the filter system Glenn suggested he and his son came out to do the work. They arrived promptly at 9 and spent some time working with me to decide the best place to install the system. The install looks clean and professional. Glenn's son (sorry, I forgot his name) answered a bunch of my questions patiently and thoroughly, and demonstrated how the system works and what I need to do to keep it working. I really don't know how the price compares. It seemed fair considering the amount of equipment and amount of work involved. Overall I was extremely pleased with the quality of the service. I do a lot of DIY work, mostly because I've gotten tired of bad experiences with contractors. That wasn't the case at all here and I would definitely recommend them to a friend or use them again.

Recent Review: IN A RECENT REMODEL WE DECIDED TO MOVE OUR WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT TO OUR GARAGE. WE HAD A BIT OF TROUBLE GETTING THE WORK SCHEDULED, BUT ONCE THE SERVICE PERSON ARRIVED, THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. IN THE PROCESS WE DISCOVERED THAT OUR WELL'S PRESSURE TANK HAD FAILED, AND CULLIGAN WAS ABLE TO LOCATE AND HAVE A NEW ONE DELIVERED IN ABOUT AN HOUR. ALSO, THEY ALLOWED US TO ASSIST THEM WITH THE WORK, THEREBY SAVING US QUITE A LOT OF MONEY ON LABOR.

Recent Review: They have been doing our water system for several years. They come out every four months and change the filters and go through our system. They are really good, that is why we have kept them for so long. It is a little bit spendy. I will continue to use them.

Hansons Water Treatment
Recent Review: I can't remember what the original water softener cost me.  It was a lot.  They did the work after we rented the place.  They were very helpful and responsive, because I had to do it long distance.  They coordinated with the rental agency I use.  If I think they're going to be expensive, or somebody I don't want to use, I have the rental agency to coordinate.  The company that the agency picked was quite a bit more expensive, so I got Hanson's, and they were about half as much.  When I got them out there, they were on time and quick.  When they came out in January, they did it under warranty with no labor cost.  I would make use of their services in the future if needed.

The folks at Northwest Water Treatment, Inc. were a pleasure to work with. Glen and his son were very pleasant, knowledgeable and prompt. They took care of my installation in a very efficient, professional manner and I am quite happy with my new installation. I would recommend them to anyone needing water softener installation.

They didn't flush the water heater because my water heater is too old to flush. They should have told us the service (water heater flush) is for a fairly new water heater. I didn't get the service that I paid for.

In doing my research for this type of service, I was continually referred back to this agency by others because of their expertise in Water Filtration. The owners came to my home twice and did two different water samples and then Glenn, the owner, and his son Derrick were nice enough to sit down and explain the need for each piece of the system they recommended. The install went smooth and without any hassle. They have been extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. Derrick also explained what I needed to do to maintain the system. Professional, courteous and conscientious is how I'd describe Northwest Water Treatment Inc. I would surely recommend them to any of my friends and family.

CCulligan Water Systems
When I bought this system for $5000 last year, the salesman told me there was a lot of metal in my water but the softer plus the filter would eliminate the issue. He also told me he had arsenic in his water and the softener/filter combo made his water safe to drink. Well, less than one year later, I start seeing an orange tinge to my water which has been clear from June through April. I called and asked them to come out.  They told me the water treatment was working as expected and the orange tint was some type of algae. they also told me my well pump was not working right and they couldn't be sure the system was a problem because of the pump.  More salt to the water softener and off they went. Well, the water continued to look orange. In fact, it got worse.  My metal buckets for dog water started having orange residue at the bottom. the dog who had been drinking the water had her whole coat change and become brittle with a lot of hair falling out. My other dog had been drinking bottled water in the house because he'd had a spinal fusion and I wanted to give him the best opportunity for recovery without softened water. Once he was well, I gave him the water from the water softener/filter. The first day he drank it, he vomited all over. I gave him bottled water, no problem. I now have both dogs drinking bottled water while I call Culligan and ask them to fix the problem. The salesman came out on Monday the 13th and said, oh yes, you have colloidal metal in your water. Nothing to worry about. We can sell you this $1000 system to filter it out to 1 micron. Oh, and you'll have to buy a quantity of the bags for the bag filter ($250)  But we can change out the cullneu media which sits in the filter and will more than likely make this much better. Well water changes. So, I say, adjust the filter to manage the changed water. We'll arrange for a service call to do that and replace the cullneu media. Fine. Culligan calls. $110 for the replaced neutralizer and service call ($110/hour) REALLY? The darn system isn't even doing the job you promised and it hasn't been one year. Now I find that I have to pay for the service call to fix the problem that I tried to have fixed in April . they didn't charge me the $110 in April. I told them I'm reporting this to Angie's List.  I'm now angry about my expensive water treatment system and Angie's list, please help me
