Recent Review: My husband and I just purchased our first home, a small 1160sqft rambler. The previous owners had attempted to paint, but had only done one coat with terrible colors. I didn't think I could stand to live in a house with streaky teal walls, so I called Jack's after viewing the reviews here. Jack came out and ran an initial estimate with my husband (I was not present). The bid came in at about $1310, for just the walls, with six colors. I ended up wanting eight colors, and Jack called right away to make sure I was okay with that, as it costs more per color. We scheduled a start date of July 4th as it worked out for everyone. Nick, the general manager, came out to get a look at the job. We asked about millwork at this point, as that was also painted quite poorly. Nick indicated this would be more money, and due to the nature of the work that needed done, it would be easier and cheaper to perform the millwork sanding and painting prior to the walls being done. I agreed, especially because professionally painted walls would have made the cheap millwork painting stand out even more in comparison. I was pleased that they were able to work that into their schedule. Andre, the manager for the job, was friendly, professional, and made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. I had one minor issue with the crew - I found a cigarette butt in my freshly-planted flower bed. I raised the issue with Jack and Nick, and it was taken care of immediately. The job took about five days to complete, which was longer than the initial estimate, but the trim, doors, and walls are beautiful. I'm very excited to move in and enjoy it.
