Recent Review: My husband and I have been searching for the best water conditioner in a while. Chris Bartlett is the water treatment specialist from ECOWATER. He gave an excellent presentation. Very knowledgeable, I can tell that is highly trained and expert in this field. No high-pressure sale or tactic. I have no doubt that this is the best water conditioner .I'm looking forward next Saturday to install the system. Beth R. Alpine

All Cities Water Treatment Inc
Recent Review: All Cities Water Treatment came in with the lowest price for the whole package, beating other well-known water treatment companies. Their salesman was professional and courteous, and gave us enough information to choose the right product; we chose the larger unit, since we have a pool that gets topped off from out house water supply. Their installer was on time, courteous and professional in his installation and explanation. We've had no problems with the water softener. I can't imagine a more satisfying experience.

Recent Review: I'm more of a person who reads reviews than one who writes them, but because I wrote a review on my great experience the first time, I felt it was really important to do a follow up after this experience. I'm thrilled to know Anderson can take care of customers complete water treatment needs because after the research I've been doing online about water quality in San Diego (which is horrible by the way) I will be telling friends about the totally affordable option I found to solve the problem of crappy water.

Recent Review: DALE RESPONDED FAST, CHANGED HIS SCHEDULE THAT DAY IN ORDER TO FIT ME IN. THE WORKS WAS DONE FAST AND HE LEFT THE PLACE CLEANER THAN WHEN HE STARTED. I WILL ALWAYS USE ANDERSON PLUMBING IN THE FUTURE. THEY ALSO INSTALL AND SERVICE WATER SOFTENERS AND FILTRATION. IT WAS NICE TO GET AN UNBIASED TAKE ON THE DIFFERENT BRANDS.

Recent Review: Black Mountain Plumbing installed a whole house water conditioning system that I provided and had it delivered.  Their fee to install it was $800, $750 plus parts.  I asked the guy to give me a breakdown of the actual cost, he described what parts he needed and that was less than $100, the actual per hour rate of labor came out to about $197 an hour.  They were well reputed and they were recommended by the company and another company that had water treatment systems.  It took him about three hours to install it and it was over $600 in labor and $150 in parts.  He knew what he was doing, he was a professional, but that is an outrageous hourly rate for labor.  It was about five months ago.  The gentleman who actually installed the system was very knowledgable and his work was first rate.  I have no qualms with the quality of work and everything else, I guess when push comes to shove, that must have been the going rate, and it's quite a deal for the installers of these systems, when I looked at another company to have them do it, they said they would do the whole job for $4,000, but if you want somebody else install it it will be $3000.  Well I guess it's $1000 to have it installed.  That's why I went ahead with the other guy when he said $800, it sounded like a good deal, but when you break it down it's about $200 an hour for labor because it requires somebody's expertise.  The reality is you are getting paid more than an airline captain and you are getting paid as much as an Opthalmologist, getting $200 an hour for your work.  That's incredible.  They were everything they said they were, except they were outrageously expensive.  And somebody should be aware that that is what the hourly rate is on an installation like that.  It's unbelievable.

I thought they were a bit pushy when they were selling the system to me, but it has been working just fine.  They were also very responsive when the system needed to be reset after a power outage.

Everything they did was excellent for what I saw and for what he did. He fixed the problem and it works fine now. The problem I had before was that one of the parts had deteriorated and the softener was no longer serviceable. He replaced it with a much higher quality part so hopefully it will be better than it was new. I called them on a Saturday and there was somebody here on Monday morning.

Overall not a good experience. Wouldn't recommend. The overall price is expensive, even after discount. As mentioned by previous reviewer, they will try to push you to sign the contract during the first appointment. Btw, they typically offer better discount in local magazine than here, say $700 vs $600. For the products, the water filtration should be able to filter chlorine and heavy metals. It's very matured technique used by all the water filter products on the market. They can't test whether heavy metal is removed, but they will do the simple tests to check if the water still has chlorine.  But here is the argument, the chlorine is added in the water to kill bacteria, if the system removes the chlorine, then does the water filtered by the system still as healthy as they claim? Yes, the water right after the system is ok, but how about the water in the pipe? will the bacteria grow in the pipe? During the appointment, they claimed that their water system can generate water with well-balanced PH value, and they did the test for the water PH value, which is around 7.5. But actually later we figured out that the reason that PH value is good is simply because it is good even before the water system. We did the test, and the company staff came later and did the same test, we both found the PH value is about same before and after the water system. So basically the water system has nothing to do the PH value, you get what you originally get. For the hard water treatment, actually in the beginning, we didn't have plan to install hard water treatment, but during the appointment, they claim how bad the hard water is, and how good their product is, so eventually we also bought the hard water treatment device. Bad decision!!  They said the water in San Diego is very hard, which can clog your water pipe, damage your skin. But in terms of clogging water pipe, later when I talked with my friends, some guys, who have been living in San Diego for more than 30, 40 years and live in 1950s houses, said they never found clogged pipe and they don't even have any kind water treatment system at home. One guy mentioned he even cut the water pipe before, and found it's very clean inside. Ok, at least, it can still damage the skin. Well, is it true? It actually all depends on how good the hard water treatment is. As they claimed, the device can make the hard water "softer". However,  as they mentioned during the appointment, the device changes the format of the mineral, instead of removing it. Thus the mineral is clearly still in the water in whatever format, the amount of the mineral is same. So where does the "make hard water softer" come from??? The water is hard or soft is only checked by the mineral amount, not matter what kind of format. Actually if you google their patent, which is highlighted in their website, the patent US 8157971 B2, "Electronic pool water treatment system" background mainly talks about the "de-scaling". Therefore, the system has nothing to do with the "water softening". What they claimed was very misleading!!

We couldn't be happier with the service to the installation to the follow-up. Received estimate day following initial call, service completed following day. The installer, Jaye, was thorough, knowledgeable, diligent and a pleasure to work with. Never felt that we were being oversold. Jaye went out of his way to answer any questions and provide us with options. The best service we have had in a long time, I would recommend All Cities Water Treatment without hesitation.

After speaking with several different companies, Marc, at All Cities Water Treatment, was very helpful in answering the many questions that I had regarding water softeners and filters. With his aid we were able to determine which system would be best for my house and scheduled an installation date. The morning the install was scheduled his employee arrived on time with the supplies needed. In the end, it was clear that the installer knew how to do a good job. Overall Marc was knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy.
